Fitzwell Yvonne IV Review -
This shoe is a very nice shoe and I am overall really pleased with the look, fit, and quality. The only thing I would improve would be the heel cushion. In my opinion, there could be a touch more "cush" in the heel.

Basic Plus -
Offering good value for the price, this basic loafer fits properly and looks good, especially with pants. (I wouldn't wear this particular shoe with a skirt -- that looks a bit clunky.) I bought the black patent in 10W, and am very pleased.

After reading good reviews, I was really excited about Fitzwell. That bubble was quickly burst when I found out the Yvonne IV lacks ample cushioning in the sole. I also found the gel "bump" to be quite uncomfortable and actually force me to compensate by putting more weight on the already weak ball. I can feel more underneath me in these than in my bargain Dockers loafers with the cracked soles! I am a size 11 and have an average width foot, boxy toe shape. Shape of these was great, padding not. Late 20s, knee surgeries – bad mix with these shoes!

Hard On Heel/Heavy Crease Immediately -
The shoe looks great, but I have to agree with a previous reviewer on the fit. The gel "cushion" is hard and I worry if it will bust. I wish I could take it out. Also, the shoe creased after the second wear. The shoe does not even look brand new. I must add that the heel slips and no arch support.

Very comfortable shoe! I have a size 5.5 wide foot, and have found it difficult to find shoes that don't hurt my feet. These were very comfortable, soft, and the first shoes to not be narrow at the toes.

Very Comfortable -
These are very comfortable shoes...I am a first time buyer and they shipped in 2 days and I was able to wear them to work on Monday. I have very flat feet and I have a hard time finding shoes in my size that fit well. These shoes are ideal for a casual work environment. You can wear them with a nice pair of slacks and they will accentuate your work attire. Great pair of shoes!

I wear a 7.5. After reading the online reviews, I ordered this shoe in an 8; too big. I then ordered my true size, a 7.5 and with every step the heel slipped - even in socks. I ordered a 7, thinking that the shoe would certainly be a perfect fit and it's way too tight. I really liked this shoe. It seemed to be exactly what I was looking for, but I couldn't find the right fit for me. I have never had problems finding shoes that fit before. Rats! Zappos has been great with the fastest shipping and the easiest online return process I've ever encountered. Thanks Zappos! I'll be back, but for a different shoe. I think that three pairs ordered of the same shoe is enough!

Great loafer -
I had been looking for an affordable black loafer for months. I wear a size 12, so this is no small feat. Initially I was skeptical about black patent, but once I received them and put them on, I was hooked. The only two problems I have are 1. They are very roomy in the heel and they slip - problem solved with putting pads in the front. 2. They permanently creased on the vamp on the first wear, but it doesn't appear to be cracking or damaging the shoe at all (they just look "seasoned"). I'd buy this shoe again.

***UPDATED Review -
I bought this pair 2 months ago and reviewed them positively. I stated that I wish the gel insert was in the front. Now I wish it didn't have the gel insert at all. The gel insert split and I wound up with disgusting sticky gel goop all over my socks at the office. I had to walk home with this gel goop all over the sock and shoes and the shoes are useless now. I wore them a few days a week for 2 months with no abnormal wear. I am very disappointed and won't buy again.

Decent shoe -
This is by far NOT the most comfortable shoe I've ordered recently. The Softspots shoes are much more comfortable. The toe is very square looking, and the plastic in the heel of the shoe lining makes my heel hot.

Definitely fits well -
I have a wide foot and a hard time finding shoes that don't crush my pinky toe. This one fits the bill. Great for walking to work and very stylish, classic loafer. The base is a little slippery, so I bought one of the non-skid pads and they are wonderful. The gel feature on the heel is nice; I wish it was in the front as well.

I really like this shoe and the way it looks. The only problem I have with it is not the shoe's fault! I wear orthotics and have a hard time finding a shoe that my heel doesn't slip out of the back because the orthotic is about 1/2 inch thick at the heel.

Great Shoe with a couple of problems -
I love the shoe but, it runs a full size bigger than the standard shoe size. The shoe got bigger after I wore it once. Also, some of the stain from the inside of the shoe came through my socks and stained my toenails. That's a problem.

I love these shoes. I have always worn at least a 2-3 inch heel because I am short, but after all these years, my feet cannot take it anymore. This is a great shoe for all day running errands. I bought a brown pair and a black pair.

Nice shoes to wear with pants -
Nice flat shoes. I got them in black patent and they look very good and stylish with pair of pants. They tend to go narrower than other shoes. I was glad I got them in Wide based on other reviewers input; otherwise, it would have been too narrow. The Wide width feels like Medium width. They don't seem to have any arch support and feel a bit flat. If you are looking for a basic inexpensive patent leather shoe, this will work.

These shoes are very nice. After just a couple of hours they seemed to fit better and were more broken in. No rubbing on my heels and they loosened up in the toe area. The gel pad is a little uncomfortable around the edges where they're stitched, but easy enough to get used to. I can not wear anything with too much of a heel and these were just right. Easy to maintain, and I can wear them with just about anything.

Good shoe for bad weather days -
This shoe has rubber sole and a gel-type inlay in the bottom inside the shoe at the heel. I did send the shoe back for a smaller size and it did fit... no problem getting a smaller size from Zappos, they are very consumer oriented.

Nice, but no support -
A good overall flat shoe. I got these because I was looking for a classy comfortable dressy shoe for pant suits, but they don't have any arch support and feel a bit flat (no cushion), so I'm returning them for a more expensive Taryn Rose pump. I'd rather spend more for something that feels more substantial. If you are looking for a basic inexpensive patent leather shoe, this will work.

Nice shoe, but a few problems -
I think this shoe is attractive, but for me, it ran too narrow (most D widths fit me, but not this one). Plus, I don't see or feel any arch support. It is too bad because otherwise it is a sturdy, nice everyday shoe.

Practical wear -
I bought this shoe as a nice casual walking shoe that can be worn with slacks or a skirt. I find it to be very comfortable but not very stylish looking. It is made for practicality, probably not the best choice if you are going to be wearing skirts with it. I think it goes great with pants. There is a cushion on the heel that took a little adjusting to, but I really like them for their support now.
