Good value. A comfortable shoe. It runs a little large but not enough to order a half size smaller. Good for wearing to the office with slacks.

Love a classic -
I got the dove grey suede, and I LOVE THEM! I may get more colors. My foot is wide across the ball of the foot where all the bones are, then normal to narrow toward the heel. This shoe fits like a glove (so to speak). Really well made. It is comfort and style in one.

I wear a 12 which was too small but fit me width ways, so I exchanged for a 13 which is long enough but now sloppy on my foot. I am going to keep because it is difficult to find low heeled stylish long shoes. I am going to have to add padding either in the foot bed or heel. The heel does slip.

Excellent mail-order shoe experience -
This is the first time I attempted mail-order shoes and I hit the jackpot! The shoes were exactly what I wanted, are a perfect fit, and very comfortable. And I found them within a few minutes in the comfort of my own home instead of running around looking in shoe stores for what I wanted.

Great comfort for the office -
These shoes are great for the office. Works well with all my petite length pants. Very comfortable. I don't see any faults with this shoe.

Review of Fitzwell loafer -
The shoe fits what I need for a businesslike but comfortable shoe that I can wear with skirts or pants. I have a very wide foot with a large bunion on my right foot, so that is a fitting and comfort problem. The shoe seems plenty wide enough and runs a little long. If I were ordering this style again, I might order a half size shorter and get the next wider width, but the one I ordered is acceptable. I have a whole closet full of shoes that I cannot wear. Happily, this pair will get worn. Thanks.

This shoe fits so well as I have foot problems.

I am so disappointed because these shoes are SO cute, somewhat waterproof and comfortable. The big problem is the SOLE! It's so slippery (even with their supposed JEEP traction claim) as soon as I walk on ice, even slick sidewalk, I slip, which is not good for a hardcore outdoor shoe! I have read reviews elsewhere about this faulty J-41 sole design and it seems to be some sort of problem everywhere, one woman even claimed she slipped in the GROCERY store! Too bad, they are super cute. But low rating on my end because of the price and their claim to "no slip traction sole" which turned out to be the exact opposite. I walked everywhere as a New England city dweller and I would have skipped this big ticker purchase if I had known. Maybe the shoe is designed somewhere warm, and they have never tested the sole in ice, sleet, or cold temps!

Not as comfortable as I hoped -
I purchased this shoe to wear with slacks in my business casual work environment. I had a baby four months ago and my feet have both lengthened and gotten wider. I purchased this shoe to replace other slip-ons in my closet. The Yvonne IV is fairly comfortable but the heel cushioning isn't up to a lengthy commute. The gel-like pad isn't very wide and doesn't support enough of my heel to provide good cushioning.

I love these!
I have more shoes than I care to admit, and all of my dress shoes are high heeled. Recently, I sprained my foot and ankle and had to find low heeled dress shoes to wear while I healed. I ordered this pair and I'm so glad I did. Even though my ortho told me to only wear athletic shoes, I ignored him and I'm wearing these. They are very comfortable and they don't hurt my injured foot and ankle in the least bit. And I love the toe box. What a concept... they're actually shaped like a real foot! I wish they were in my size in blue and brown but unfortunately, they don't have them in stock right now. I think I'll be wearing these even after I'm healed.

This shoe is a very nice shoe and I am overall really pleased with the look, fit, and quality. The only thing I would improve would be the heel cushion. In my opinion, there could be a touch more "cush" in the heel.

Basic Plus -
Offering good value for the price, this basic loafer fits properly and looks good, especially with pants. (I wouldn't wear this particular shoe with a skirt -- that looks a bit clunky.) I bought the black patent in 10W, and am very pleased.

After reading good reviews, I was really excited about Fitzwell. That bubble was quickly burst when I found out the Yvonne IV lacks ample cushioning in the sole. I also found the gel "bump" to be quite uncomfortable and actually force me to compensate by putting more weight on the already weak ball. I can feel more underneath me in these than in my bargain Dockers loafers with the cracked soles! I am a size 11 and have an average width foot, boxy toe shape. Shape of these was great, padding not. Late 20s, knee surgeries – bad mix with these shoes!

Hard On Heel/Heavy Crease Immediately -
The shoe looks great, but I have to agree with a previous reviewer on the fit. The gel "cushion" is hard and I worry if it will bust. I wish I could take it out. Also, the shoe creased after the second wear. The shoe does not even look brand new. I must add that the heel slips and no arch support.

Very comfortable shoe! I have a size 5.5 wide foot, and have found it difficult to find shoes that don't hurt my feet. These were very comfortable, soft, and the first shoes to not be narrow at the toes.

These are very comfortable shoes...I am a first time buyer and they shipped in 2 days and I was able to wear them to work on Monday. I have very flat feet and I have a hard time finding shoes in my size that fit well. These shoes are ideal for a casual work environment. You can wear them with a nice pair of slacks and they will accentuate your work attire. Great pair of shoes!

I wear a 7.5. After reading the online reviews, I ordered this shoe in an 8; too big. I then ordered my true size, a 7.5 and with every step the heel slipped - even in socks. I ordered a 7, thinking that the shoe would certainly be a perfect fit and it's way too tight. I really liked this shoe. It seemed to be exactly what I was looking for, but I couldn't find the right fit for me. I have never had problems finding shoes that fit before. Rats! Zappos has been great with the fastest shipping and the easiest online return process I've ever encountered. Thanks Zappos! I'll be back, but for a different shoe. I think that three pairs ordered of the same shoe is enough!

Great loafer -
I had been looking for an affordable black loafer for months. I wear a size 12, so this is no small feat. Initially I was skeptical about black patent, but once I received them and put them on, I was hooked. The only two problems I have are 1. They are very roomy in the heel and they slip - problem solved with putting pads in the front. 2. They permanently creased on the vamp on the first wear, but it doesn't appear to be cracking or damaging the shoe at all (they just look "seasoned"). I'd buy this shoe again.

***UPDATED Review -
I bought this pair 2 months ago and reviewed them positively. I stated that I wish the gel insert was in the front. Now I wish it didn't have the gel insert at all. The gel insert split and I wound up with disgusting sticky gel goop all over my socks at the office. I had to walk home with this gel goop all over the sock and shoes and the shoes are useless now. I wore them a few days a week for 2 months with no abnormal wear. I am very disappointed and won't buy again.

This is by far NOT the most comfortable shoe I've ordered recently. The Softspots shoes are much more comfortable. The toe is very square looking, and the plastic in the heel of the shoe lining makes my heel hot.

Definitely fits well -
I have a wide foot and a hard time finding shoes that don't crush my pinky toe. This one fits the bill. Great for walking to work and very stylish, classic loafer. The base is a little slippery, so I bought one of the non-skid pads and they are wonderful. The gel feature on the heel is nice; I wish it was in the front as well.

I really like this shoe and the way it looks. The only problem I have with it is not the shoe's fault! I wear orthotics and have a hard time finding a shoe that my heel doesn't slip out of the back because the orthotic is about 1/2 inch thick at the heel.
