Good shoe for price -
First impression was that of a clunky looking shoe. It's comfortable enough to forgive the look over time. I ordered a Narrow size 12- closer to a D then a B but nothing a thick sock can't fix. Holds my heel well and does not wrinkle much when laced snug. No arch support to speak of but that works with my flat feet. Very well made, nice stitching, leather, insole etc. Cheaper than the Clarks I'm used to wearing, and just as comfortable. Buying from Zappos was , as always, a pleasure.

At Last!!
Most comfortable shoes I have ever had...puts my Clarks to shame. They aren't much on looks, but great on comfort.

Walk in the park -
I have been looking for shoes this comfortable, yet a little dressier for years. I felt these were something I could wear to an interview or to the family picnic. They would have even have met the requirement for parade shoes when I was marching with the fire department. Way to go Propet. Thanks for having them in stock Zappos.

I was amazed at how fast we rec'd our order. It was a birthday present and was rec'd the next day. We will be doing more business with Zappos for sure. The shoes are great!!!!! The perfect fit.

First time buyer / Great experience -
I never thought I would trust an on-line shoe retailer for service, but Zappos is my "go to" place for now on. One day shipping, secure packaging terrific.
As for the shoes, extremely comfortable right out of the box. No break-in period at all. I ordered a wide size, and was worried about their fit, but they fit great. I wear these in an office environment as a casual professional wear, and they work fine for that purpose. I gave four stars for look, as they actually look wider than they feel, kind of a "clunky" look to them that took a little getting used to. I'm seriously considering getting a brown pair to match my black pair.

Not as nice as the mids, but still good -
I also bought the mids in this model, which seemed truer to size and width. This shoe was still more comfortable than 90% of the shoes I've owned in my life. Love em...but like the mids a bit better.

My first order was returned because the shoe was too large. The replacement order (a 1/2 size smaller) fits well.

Narrow Width, Broad Comfort!
My husband, like most husbands, hates to shop. He's been trying to get out with me to shop for shoes for the past few months. If your feet are narrow, as his are, the pickin's are slim, as they say here in the South. Finally, I checked out Zappos (as I did the last time this phenomenon of his wanting to shop occurred) and instantly had a CHOICE of many shoes, great prices, and at narrow widths. This shoe was one of his choices and he loves it. It is very comfortable, and looks great on him. How much more could you want? Plus, no wasting precious weekend time hunting all over Atlanta for narrow shoes. Thanks, Zappos, for making ME look good!!

Very good shoes. Excellent materials, and workmanship. Light. Rare, elegant simplicity of style. Sadly, I am returning them, because their “X” width is almost a quarter of an inch narrower than “2W” of other brands.

Rating the Propet Village Walker -
The reason for the downgraded overall rating is that my pair of Propet Village Walker has a very strong offensive odor to them that is taking a long time to go away. I have left them outside for days on end and they still smell. The comfort is great. The look is great but the smell is not.

I received the shoes within 3 days and was very pleased. They are exactly what I needed. I walk to work in NYC and I am on my feet the entire shift. These shoes have a simple, clean look and they are very comfortable!

Very comfortable walking shoe but felt a little big -
I purchased this shoe to wear on my recent vacation where I knew there would be a lot of walking. It was a very comfortable shoe but somewhat more "loose fiting" then what I expected (same length/width that I normally order), so there was some degree of foot movement within the show that caused a little "rubbing" that almost formed a blister after a while (there was A LOT of walking during the trip). As far as looks, this show is a bit on the "chunky" side (definitely an "outdoor" type of shoe), but that is probably in part due to what appears to be very durable construction.

Great Fitting Shoe -
I purchased this shoe for my dad who has a hard time finding shoes because of severe arthritis in both his feet. He loved them. He said they are so comfortable and fit him perfectly. I ordered two pairs, black and brown. He recommends them for anyone who has wide and hard to fit feet. I am so happy I found this website.

I really like the width of theses shoes. If you are border line 3E - 4E, I would definitely get the 3E size. The length seems a little less, so it might not be a bad idea to get a half size longer.

Great fit right from the box. I love finding narrow sizes; most places only carry mediums and wides. They actually look better on your feet than in the photo. However, with Zappos you can return them for sizing etc. if you don't like them, with no shipping charges.....sweet!

I usually wear a 6E, but these 5Es fit better than most of them. I was very pleased. They are holding up well, are very comfortable and don't look out of place at the office or at the grocery store.

This shoe is what I had hoped it would be. I have a narrow foot, with some pronation problems. I got the 9 1/2 narrow, and it runs true to size. It provides plenty of support, and it really seems to be very well made. I'll be getting more shoes from this company. Very good shoe for the money.

Great shoe for people on their feet a lot!
Super comfortable. Lots of support. I teach 8 hours a day and am on my feet for most of that time. Only complaint is that the soles squeek when I walk on polished floors.

I bought these shoes for my husband. He's on concrete floors all day, everyday. His legs had started bothering him, but the Propet Village Walker has been great. His legs no longer bother him and they are VERY comfortable. I would highly recommend this shoe for comfort, stability and arch support.

Great Find!
I bought this shoe as a gift for my son who suffered a severe fracture and dislocation of his left ankle in an automobile accident 3 years ago. Due to chronic pain and swelling of his foot & ankle, it has been extremely difficult to find a shoe that offers the proper support, comfort and width that this shoe does. On Christmas morning the minute he tried on this shoe, his old worn-out shoes went straight in the garbage. He is THRILLED with the comfort & fit! Styling leaves a little to be desired but all-in-all not bad. I recommend this shoe.

I bought this shoe to wear during the business week with slacks and tie. It looks fine and has fantastic comfort for standing on my feet. I have bought 5 Propet shoes, and this is the most comfortable of them all. I will and have bought more of this brand.
