Not waterproof! This shoe is grouped under "waterproof" when doing a search for waterproof shoes on Zappos, and they are definitely not waterproof. Wore them in the snow last winter, and water leaked in the seam at the base after less than a month of wear. Would not purchase again.

WHOA! These are COMFY! I love the sproinnnngy-ness of them, sooo cushiony. And the cuddly-ness hugging my ankles, very comforting. Finally shoes that come in wide. They’re a bit masculine looking, but oh well, even at Zappos, girls with 11.5W feet still has very few choices. (I had to order a 12, boo-hoo, it’s still a little too long.) They’re good enough for jeans day at work. It’d be great if these guys started carrying this sproinnnngy-ness in a nice strappy 4" heel in 11.5W, ya know...

Comfortable from the Start!
These boots were comfortable from the minute I put them on. I have a wide foot and the 6 wide was perfect for me. They are also orthotic friendly.

Toasty warm winter boots -
I returned my first pair of boots (size wasn't perfect for me). I was pleasantly surprised by the ease of returning at Zappos.com! It only took a few days and I didn't have to worry at all about getting a refund and re-ordering; a customer service person handled it all over the phone. Love the way the new pair fits. Very warm and perfect for frigid cold Wisconsin winter mornings. Great traction makes me feel much more confident walking on icy sidewalks. This is also my second pair of shoes from Propet. Last summer I bought my first pair of extra wide sandals that were comfortable and perfect for the summer wedding I attended.

I have had a pair of these for over a year and they are terrific -- great to walk in, warm and waterproof. I just purchased a second pair to put away as a "back up" but I expect the first pair to last quite awhile, despite the fact that I wear them a LOT.

Practical, Waterproof, Warm, but. . .
I was very excited to get these boots. I have to slog through some nasty winter weather--snow, ice, slush, mud, etc.--every day. I bought a 7 1/2 wide. I usually wear a 7W or 7 1/2W, depending on the fit. These were pretty comfortable, if a little big, from the start and I desperately needed them, so I wore them right away. After a few days, though, my heel started to ache, and so I put in gel heel inserts. The footbed is pretty hard. The inserts helped, but my heel still gets sore. So I wear my biggest, fluffiest, winter socks, but still, my heel aches. I wish I had returned these. I think Propet has a great idea with this boot, but they need to do something to soften the footbed--nice padding or something. I also wish I'd ordered the 7W. Everything else is fine.

Great comfort.
I bought this shoe and one week later left on a vacation where we often walked 5-8 hours a day on concrete and cobblestones. I was always the last person in our party of 5 to complain of sore feet. There was room for my orthotic insert on top of the normal liner so I was able to keep both in the boot for optimum support.
Also, they have been wonderfully warm under all conditions, including a recent week of sub zero temperatures. I will definitely buy this shoe again.

Propet's Snow Walker -
With hard to fit feet, I find the Propet Snow Walker is a good fit. I ordered extra wide with hopes that the shoe would accommodate a thick sock and they do! I did find that I need to insert my orthotics for the arch support that I need. With the orthotics in, I can wear the boots all day if I need to be in total comfort.

Great boot for the cold and lower snow levels -
I have difficult to fit feet due to surgery and most boots I've tried squeeze the upper ball area of my foot. Overall, this is a comfortable and roomy boot. The leather is not too stiff like others I tried. Could use a little more arch support, however. It looks good with jeans, and easy to wear indoors without overheating your feet. Our weather warmed up and the snow went away before I could try them out, but with good socks I think they will be fine in regards to warmth. Not a boot you want to romp around in the snow with however.

I ordered the snow walker before we got out 70" of snow and have worn it every day since the snowfall. Now that the snow is melting it is great for keeping my feet dry and warm. Totally waterproof and has great traction. I used an insert to accommodate my narrow feet and it made it more comfortable for me.

I have found all of the Propet shoes that I have purchased to be comfortable right out of the box. These did not disappoint. Love the shoes, great for walking in the winter. Good grip. Can wear them all day.

Finally - something that looks good!
Trying to find 4E shoes that didn't scream "NANA" was very, very hard for someone, who at age 30, isn't ready to grow up yet. It's been wicked cold & I needed to break down and venture out into 4E territory for my winter boots. These fit the bill. They look good with jeans and corduroys. They're warm enough (it was -5 today!) and so darn comfortable. Totally worth it. Now, if I could only find other shoes that were stylish and comfortable, I'd be all set - problem is, no "mainstream" maker designs wide shoes!

Propet is the best!
I have very wide feet, and Propet products are the only ones that fit.
The boots I bought are comfortable and warm, too.

Great boot -
I searched weeks for a black hiking boot that looked good and was comfortable for walking and standing on hard surfaces for long periods. This is a great boot - warm, not too heavy, laces up snug without binding, roomy toes, and is just comfortably to wear.

Immediate comfort -
Immediately comfortable the first time I put on the boot. No breaking in period. Fit my extra wide high arched foot perfectly. Lightweight, but keeps my feet warm in the winter. Great tread prevents any slipping. Padded collar very comfortable around my ankles. Really thinking of buying another pair, I like these boots so much.

I was looking for a boot that would help me not slip in all the ice we seem to be getting this year. I put the shoe on and WOW, it felt great. They are a very comfortable shoe, with a moderate arch support. I kept them on all day, and never felt like my feet were tired. I LOVE THEM!!

I hugged them one night!
I wore these boots the day I got them and I can't imagine them being more comfortable. FYI, I have flat feet, tendonitis (Achilles), a bad back and hip, and I walk with a cane. I had to be careful about what I bought. I read all the reviews and saw the "combat boot" comparison but that's not how they look to me. And they really do look cute sticking out from under jeans. They feel good, they're warm (but not unnecessarily so), and they're lightweight. I’ve worn them several times in Chicago cold and snow and hardly want to take them off once I’m inside. If you're into super-stylish stilettos with rapier-point toes, these may not move you. I am in love with them. Bought black ones and may come back later for brown. Also, ordered Tuesday, got 'em Wednesday. If I could, I’d hug Zappos, too ;o)

I gave these 4 stars because they are a little stiff and clunky. They did fit my wide foot which was great, but they are not that cushioned.

I have a wide foot, a high instep, and swollen ankles. This is the first boot I've found that is adjustable enough for me to wear all the time. Extremely comfortable and they save me from falling. What more could I want?

Warm & comfy - fits a "plus size" leg -
I'm a "plus size" with big legs. This boot comes in wide and the upper part is softly padded and large enough to fit my leg (would also fit smaller legs). If it fits mine, it would have to fit just about anyone. It is warm and comfortable.

Comfortable boot with good traction for walking. Not only that, but my feet stay warm when I'm waiting at the bus stop, and . . . they don't look clunky! With drugstore inserts for added arch support, it's the perfect boot for me.

Propet Snow Walker is a perfect shoe for me. I have 6WW foot and high step. I was walking in mall about 2 hours they were so comfortable. I am so happy. In past, I couldn't never find shoe that look and fit so well. In the past, I would go to Wide Width. The shoe stores were not helpful. And shoes were not fashionable at all!

AND I was upgraded to priority status. I have to say WOW. This is the most impressive online service I have had from retail - ever. I bought my wedding shoes from you back in Feb, and I do recall how fabulous your customer service team was. I can't believe I have waited this long to purchase from Zappos again. You went above and beyond my expectations and I greatly appreciate that-esp. in these times. I order online a great deal because of my busy schedule and it is hard to go out and go shopping. This is the best treatment I have had by far- and I haven't received my shoes yet, but I know I'll get 'em much sooner than I thought. KEEP IT UP!!!
