Been buying this for 6 years. It goes a long way as you do not need to use very much. My husband is a cook and his shoes get nasty. This balsam stuff makes them look like new and I think it makes his shoes last longer too.

Wow! I just received this in the mail and I immediately put in on my shoes that I ordered two weeks ago. This product makes my shoes look out of the box brand new! I can't say enough about this product, except it comes in a sort of small package, but you don't need much to get an amazing result! And with Zappos.com it's reasonably priced with free shipping! I think this product will last me a long time, but I think I might just have to order more!

Wonder Balsam is amazing! It goes on easily with the enclosed applicator and makes all my shoes look great. I was also able to make an old Coach bag look new again by applying this polish to it.

This is a great product. I bought a pair of Red Wings, Brown/Red, I got them scuffed up a lot the first two weeks I had them. I got this product, and they looked like new again. This works perfect on these boots. Thanks, Zappos for the great products you have.

Wonder balsam, indeed! I've used it on everything from my Hobo International bag to some cheap leather ballet flats I got at a discount outlet. It works like magic! It did change the color of my leather bag a bit. Not a substantial change, but just made the cognac color a bit richer and deeper. It also revitalized and rehabbed my cheap leather ballet flats! Scuffs practically disappeared, and they look like new! I'll be buying another one of these as soon as mine runs out.

I have a pair of Doc Martens that are only a few months old, but have been through the wringer, what with having hot soup and dirty mop water/sanitizing solution spilled over them almost every day. They'd gotten grossly discolored and were starting to look nasty, so I shelled out for a tub of this basalm, and Wow. In seconds my shoes looked brand new. I honestly don't recognize them! Usually I'm wary of things with superlatives like "Wonder" in their name, but this time, it's definitely warranted.

Amazing product! I used it on a pair of leather boots and a leather jacket, which both look new now! Which is impressive since the jacket is from the \'70s!

This is wonderful stuff to keep your shoes looking like new. It gets rid of a lot of those bothersome wrinkles and creases that shoes develop over time. Great product!

Bought this product for my daughter's tall riding boot! Perfect for cleaning them, leaves them beautifully clean and does not leave black polish marks on her saddle pad her horse! Also worked well for her western boots, a lot easier to use than polish too!

Does alright on waxing up your shoes and scuffs, but if you really want to waterproof your shoes - leather or suede - this stuff is great and safe and works in one application. Also, lexol products are ph balanced and safe for leathers for cleaning and conditioning, great on horse tack also . Both products I do tack cleaning and have learned a lot on cleaning, conditioning, and treating leather and suede.
Other brands recommended by reviewer: Silicone water guard, lexol products

Wonder Balsam -
This is a great product. I use it about once every 6 months to cover scratches on my shoes. It works great on all types and brands of shoes and doesn’t change the color of the leather.

This stuff is awesome -
After reading the tons of great reviews on this stuff, I decided to give it a try. My Doc Martens 8053's are about 3½ years old and had a good amount of scratches on the toe area. As usual, I got the balsam within one day (ordered Tuesday afternoon, had the stuff Wednesday when I got home from work). I slapped some of this balsam on my shoes and they're good as new now. This stuff kinda looks like Vaseline.

This stuff, simply put, is awesome. They will make your worn boots look like new again. I used some on my Clark Escalades that I’ve worn for a few months without doing any maintenance on. The end result was them looking like new again. This really is a wonder balsam. Must Buy!

Easy to apply and works great on Dr. Marten shoes. I use my fingers to work it into the leather and use a soft cloth to remove the excess. I would wait a day or 2 before wearing the shoes after the treatment so the balsam doesn’t stain your jeans or pants.

This balm is the bomb -
This little container is a money saver - I keep it in my desk at work and whenever my shoes are looking dull, if rub a little balsam on it and they look like I just had them polished. No need to pay for a shoe shine with this stuff.

As per the review by others this balsam works pretty good on shoes, at least in my case, that are not looking all that good. It brings out a wonderful shine to the shoes and tends to hide, to some extent, the scrapes and other minor damages to the shoe.

Perfect. Saved my $140 pair of shoes.
I have a pair of Campers. Like a dummy, I played around with my boy kicking a soccer ball around with them, and the tips were very worn out afterwards. I bought this on an impulse, together with something else. I fully thought that it wouldn't work. It does. My shoes look as good as ever, you could never tell the difference between the leather on the tips and that on the sides. Strongly recommended.

Product works very well. My Docs are black and about a year old. They are my work boots at the fire station, so they have seen some abuse. The Balsam restored the leather to almost the original look and feel. Once again, wonderful product!

Really makes shoes look new! Has prevented salt stains and, I am sure, other weather damage, and adds more shine than most polishes (which this product isn't, exactly). I will definitely buy more when I run out.

It’s alright -
It worked ok, but my Frye boots are still cracked. It seemed to brighten up and clean up my other worn in leather shoes. But the new Frye's that are dried out still seem to be stiff and dried out.

Great Balsam -
So I had these fabulous riding boots that I mistaken wore on a snowy day in NYC and the salt and moisture seeped in and I didn't even bother to wipe them off when I got home. Needless to say they looked horrible and this balsam make it all better. It’s great!
