I purchased this shoe to walk in when travelling. The shoe is very comfortable and is exactly sized. I wear a 9 and one-half shoe, and ordered that size and it fit perfectly. The leather is very supple has an instant broken in feel to it. I would highly recommend this Mephisto shoe. As a matter of fact, I bought a second pair.

A Great Shoe, but...
Very comfortable. I'm a doctor and on my feet all day. This shoe is very comfortable. But they came with a very peculiar odor...almost a musty smell, that still has not diminished.

Just right for the just a bit wide foot -
My foot size is just too wide for regular width shoes and many, if not all, wide sizes are too wide. This shoe is my second Mephisto and I am impressed with the fit, quality, and wearability. I am on my feet for long hours and these just feel light on my feet from morning until night.

Comfort right out of the box -
This is my third pair of Mephistos and definitely the most comfortable. Even my podiatrist was impressed by them. He said they had the perfect footbed for my orthotic inserts.
