This is the most comfortable shoe ever. Have them in several colors. Wear them everyday and have been waiting for availability in size 42 again. Please hurry.

Skimping on quality -
I have been a fan of this shoe for many years. It's still good, but there have been some noticeable short cuts in quality. Materials, specifically. Still a decent fit.

Comfortable but runs small -
Taryn Rose shoes are comfortable enough to almost warrant their high price. However, I need a much larger size. I am usually a size 10 and can fit in their 11s/42 but feel much more comfortable in their 12s/43.

Delicate disappointment.
This is the fifth pair of Taryn Rose shoes I've tried to make work for me. As with the others, I've found the materials beautiful and refined, the workmanship admirable, but why on earth do they make the soles so thin? I would never want to step outside in something so slender. Perhaps this line is intended for penthouse dwellers who can send out for groceries? Also, since I encountered sizing problems with the other models I tried, I had hoped that Kelsey, being microfiber, would be totally comfortable and forgiving, but though the length was OK, I found it to be way too tight across the instep. I know this brand has a strong following, but I think its admirers and I live in very different worlds. Here, it rains a lot, and I sure wouldn't want to get this shoe (or any of the others I've tried on) wet!

Beautifully made, incredibly comfortable. I'm a size 11, and ordered a 43. They fit well. I am trying to figure out how best to clean them.

I agree! Overrated!
I have to agree with the folks who have said that this shoe was a disappointment. In its behalf, I will say that the Italian craftsmanship is magnificent. The leather lining is like buttah!
That said, I agree that there is no support, and these would be more like a slipper worn for entertaining at home. If that is what you want to blow your $$ on, then they would look beautiful with velvet palazzos by a roaring fire.
If you want to walk around Paris and Rome, get something sturdier. These wouldn't last a day!

I have worn ONLY this shoe for maybe 3 years and it is the only shoe I am able to wear at this time. PLEASE CONTINUE to make it with leather lining, for I am unable to keep a shoe that is not lined in leather on my foot. SO let me know if this is available leather lined. The last pair I ordered was not leather lined and I was unable to wear them, they slipped off with each step.

LEATHER lined Kelsey -
This is the ONLY shoe that I can wear. If it is leather lined, it stays on my foot and is very comfortable. If it is not leather lined it slips on and off and I cannot wear it. PLEASE CONTINUE TO CARRY RHIS SHOE.

Perfect daytime shoe!
This shoe is very, very comfortable! The microfiber stretches over any toe problems.
I would rather have this one expensive shoe than any four other shoes. I usually wear 9.5 wide; the size 40 fit perfectly.

I ordered this shoe in a size 41, which has always worked for me with Taryn Rose. When the shoes came they were too big, but because they seemed potentially very comfortable I sent them back and ordered the next size smaller. Those were way too small! Either there is inconsistency in making the individual shoes, or I am just not destined to wear this style.

This has been my favorite shoe for many years. I have purchased two pairs over time that I have just about worn out. I ordered a new pair, but it appears the styling has become much narrower. I can no longer buy this shoe even if I go up a size, it is still too narrow.

I ordered these when they were on sale and expected them to be comfy but unattractive. However - while they are not sexy Manolos (which I cannot wear, I am clumsy in heels!) they are surprisingly cute on. They have sort of a "kimono" look.
And when I put them on I almost cried they felt so good.
I do think they look better with pants than with skirts, but they feel so good I don't think I would care WHAT they looked like.

Big disappointment -
When I first tried on this shoe, I thought they were great, so I did not return them. 2 hours into wearing them I found them to be completely overrated. There is no support at all in this shoe. What a huge waste of money. I bought these for a comfortable work shoe. I am so disappointed.

Great shoes + a little fantasy = success -
A special pair of new shoes can make you feel really good if it works out. Spending this much on any one item of clothing is not normal for me, but I was about to go to an important event and wanted to feel comfortable and self-assured. The notion of a luxurious slipper-like shoe was appealing (I’m 60 years old). I hesitated over the advice to order a full size up, but it was correct. The shoes arrived exactly in time for my departure and fit perfectly. They’re light as air, making my flight very pleasant. These are not tough enough for walking around the city, and they’d be ruined if I wore them much in the woodsy environment where I live, but indoors they are wonderful, not sensational-looking but with a quiet elegance. With the image of Italian shoemakers hand-stitching the details, I pretended to myself that I was someone who buys expensive shoes all the time and it made me feel relaxed as I moved among people who actually do. Later I confided the purchase to my sister, and she told me she had splurged on Taryn Rose shoes once too and never regretted it.

Amazing -
I had procrastinated buying these shoes because theyre so expensive. I have problem feet - pain in the balls, high arches, I simply can't wear most shoes. The first day I wore these I walked for three hours through a city on concrete, something I cannot usually do. My feet didn't hurt! I almost don't even understand it. Maybe it's the give in the micro fiber or the balance, but my feet felt OK! Buy these shoes. I will buy them as long as she makes them; I hope that's forever...

This shoe has changed!
I have worn this shoe before and recently ordered what I thought would be an exact replacement - exact same size as the one I had worn for over a year. Unfortunately after I had worn the new shoe I discovered that this shoe had apparently been redesigned just enough for it to be very uncomfortable. So now I have an expensive pair of shoes that I can not wear. I had also purchased it in navy and will be returning it for a full refund since luckily I had not worn it. I ordered again in 1/2 size larger and anticipate this shoe will fit. Needless to say I feel someone ripped off since my original Kelsey was perfect in a size 10, however my second size 10 Kelsey does not fit and is useless to me. The picture of the bottom of the shoe is of the original Kelsey, not the one you actually shipped to me. I can only hope that your customer service dept. will contact me concerning my disappointment. I guess I will see what happens now!

Sleek Looking Shoe for a Big Foot -
After reading the reviews of this shoe, I purchased it and love it. However, I normally wear a size 11 but in this style the size 12 (European 43) is perfect.
Based on the level of comfort I had read about, I had expected a more heavily padded shoe. It is sleek looking, light and minimizes the size of my foot. I have walked all over Boston in it and just returned from a trade show. My feet are without complaint and I have a few broken toes that have turned arthritic but they are happy. No swollen feet, either.
Plan to wear them to Washington, D.C. next week and feel confident that my feet will be fine.

Kelsey is a great work shoe, especially if you are in profession requiring you to stand for extended periods of time. I found that Dansko clogs became heavy after many hours, but the Taryn Rose Kelsey shoe felt like slippers! Although they lack fashion pizzazz sometimes saving your feet is more important!

I love Taryn Rose shoes-
This shoe is one of the best I have ever worn. It is light, hugs my foot without pressure anywhere, has good balance, and looks very good. I would love to have the same shoe in many colors. I wish you carried many more Taryn Rose styles that are not higher than 1-1/2" heel.

The Taryn Rose shoes are great on comfort, but fall a little short in material quality. For instance, the microfiber Donald Pliners look sleek enough to wear for any professional occasion with skirts and even most dress occasions. The Taryn Rose Kelseys do not. They look like "comfort shoes."

Great comfortable shoes fit like a glove. The only thing you might want to do is get them a little loose so you could put padding under the ball of your foot for extra cushion. They are beautiful shoes. When Taryn Rose first started making shoes, I thought they were very homely and didn't think I would own almost every pair that she makes this season. They are beautiful, great quality and extremely comfortable. I wish they were a little more affordable... but so far that hasn't made a difference in whether I buy them or not.

I originally saw this pair of shoe in a store on Michigan Avenue in Chicago a couple of years ago and tried it on. I had no clue what the brand was and when I found out the price, I just walked away. Now that I am a working mom with a 2 year-old, I have been looking everywhere for something comfortable to wear both at work and on weekends. After doing some research and reading the reviews on Zappos.com, I decided to buy these shoes even though they cost much more than what I usually put in a pair of shoes. I have absolutely NO regret. These are the most comfortable shoes I have ever had, and unbelievably light. I just love them. They are really cute with a pair of jeans or a black pant, as well as a long casual skirt. They really are as comfortable as a pair of slippers and I highly recommend these shoes. I just wish that there would be an alternative version with a slightly higher heel to accommodate more dressier pants (I am only 5'3). I also had to get a half size bigger, I am a true 7.5 but the 8 fits me just right.
