My father has bad feet due to gout. He needs very wide shoes that do not require breaking into. Dunham was perfect in size extra wide. Incredibly comfortable for a dress shoe. Highly recommend.

Wide, good looking, sturdy shoes -
I bought these shoes for my son, who will be spending 2 years in Kazakhstan in the Peace Corps, working at an office-type job where he needs to dress formally. He has extremely wide feet and expects a lot of walking on muddy roads. We don't yet know how the shoes will hold up, but our initial impression is that these shoes are perfect for him.

Nice looking shoes -
These Oxfords were a very sturdy shoe, but the instep is a little uncomfortable. I really like the insole for comfort. The shoe is very nice looking too. Zappos was the best in this transaction and shipped the shoes to me very quickly. Overall, I had a positive experience buying these Dunham Oxfords.

My size shoes are not sold in stores so I have to buy online these days.

This pair of shoes was exactly what I thought I was ordering - A nice comfortable dress shoe. I do quite a bit of walking on the job and these shoes were comfortable right out of the box. In addition, they arrived in just a couple of business days after I placed the order.

This is a comfortable, supportive shoe that looks good enough for dress. I have a pair in brown and one in black. Good quality leather that shines beautifully. Comes in very wide sizes for the "big guy."

Only the service is better...
I found that these shoes fit great and extremely comfortable....the only thing better than the shoes was the service and has been from day one for the past few years I’ve ordered from Zappos. I also ordered a pr in Black.

Good basic shoe - not really stylish, but comfortable and supportive. I continue to be amazed by Zappos' customer service and turn-around time. Shoes were ordered at 3pm CDT and delivered the next day!

Very Good Shoe -
I have been having trouble finding a shoe that will fit my wide foot. After talking to the Zappos person I ordered the shoe is 12 6E. I wear a 5E in the Hush Puppies Body shoe, but that shoe breaks down quickly. I found that the Dunham Battery Park Waterproof Oxford in the 6E fit great and didn't require any break-in.
As always Zappos service is excellent.

Could use just a little padding on the inside at the top, back of the heel. It is a little irritating to me. Will have to double up on the socks until I get them broken in. They are VERY NICE shoes.

Purchase for business casual and works well for that purpose. 13B size feels a half size larger but the tapered toe minimizes the effect. Width is correct and arch support is better than average.

This shoe is sized well and you can easily put in support orthotics if needed. The support is excellent and cleans up nicely.

Good comfortable shoes are hard to find in my size. Thank you for having these available. I wear them for performances and am on my feet for several hours at a time. These really work well for me. At the end of a concert, my feet still feel good!

Great shoe all around.
Right out of the box the shoe was wearable without hurting my feet even after a long day standing/walking. After a few days the shoe really looks great, too - fantastic comfort and support in a size that's hard to find anything in, let alone something this comfortable in this price range. Only complaint I had at first was how hard the laces were to manage, but after a few days they're great also.

Great shoe, fit is better than most shoes I have tried on when going to nearby shoe stores. I think Zappos has a big advantage having a larger inventory to select from. I received them under 24hrs, it was only 16hrs? and Fed Ex got them to me. I was hoping my ankle wouldn’t rub on the shoe and it didn’t, thank God! I have been looking for a dress/casual shoe for such a long time. Thanks Zappos!!!

I love the way these shoes feel when I wear them, but I dislike how easily they scuff, and I have had no luck getting all the scuffs out. Other than that they are a great shoe.

Best shoe buying experience ever!
I needed a pair of dress shoes in a hurry. I am familiar with the Dunham line. I queried my size on the internet. Zappos.com popped up. The free overnight shipping caught my eye. I called and discussed the order. My Zappos rep was excellent. She explained the whole process to me and we placed the order in just minutes. The next day the shoes arrived. They fit perfectly. I wore them to a four day business seminar. I am a Zappos customer for life. With the selection of products they have, there is no reason for me to leave my home to go shopping again! I will recommend Zappos to everyone I know!

I ordered the Dunham Battery Park Waterproof Oxfords a few years ago and had them sent to my son who does a lot of walking. He had been wearing Nunn Bush before but I took a chance because I liked the look and description of the Dunham’s. He told me that this is the only shoe he ever had that he could put on and walk long distances immediately in comfort. The size and width is true, the look is dressy or casual, and he's very happy with them. The only problem encountered was finding replacement shoe laces in 40 length but one phone call to Zappos and the problem was remedied. The manufacturer sent the laces at no charge.

These shoes fit the bill! I added a tongue pad and heel pad, and that helped with a typical problem—riding up in the back as you walk (causes blisters). Simple solution for a few dollars. The only problem I've noticed is that the shoe doesn't breathe very well, so feet get a bit damp if you wear heavy socks or use a Dr Scholl’s insert. If you avoid those two things, it's not a big problem. Really, for the money, these look to be handsome, functional, long-lived shoes.

A solid leather, good looking shoe. Very good for business casual look.
To break them in I wore two pair of socks for the first few days. The width size ran a little large--I ordered a 4E (my normal size) and probably should have gone with a 3E or 2E.

Dunham shoes are a real find -
The shoes were comfortable and fit well. They have a roomy instep, so my orthotic was comfortable. The removable inner sole is great because I can insert my orthotic under it and it still feels good. The only draw back so far is that the shoe has a bit of a tennis sneaker smell after a hard day, more than any of my other shoes. The waterproof claim was substantiated during the recent snowstorm. Nice and dry. This is dressy enough for office work, but cushioned enough for my tired old feet. The Zappos free shipping is the real deal. I needed to try out several pairs before I found the Dunham Battery. I was pleasantly surprised to find that Dunham is a street shoe brand for New Balance athletic shoes, which I have worn for years, so it has a great heritage.

I own a pair of Dunham Burlingtons, and they've worked well for me. I haven't quite broken in the Battery Park Oxfords, but they are attractive and show every sign of being as comfortable and practical as the Burlingtons while being slightly dressier in style.

Extra shoe laces -
I have ordered this shoe three times. Each time the laces broke and I was unable to find a black 40 inch thin round lace. I contacted Dunham and they sent me complimentary 40 inch thick laces since they do not have thin round. Dunham should contact the supplier and have 40 inch in stock so replacements are readily available in black. I like the shoe and find it very comfortable.
