Cheap leather upper creased across the toe almost immediately. Within 6 months it was cracking and flaking despite never getting wet, wearing at most every other day, using cedar shoe trees when not wearing, and careful cleaning and shines every other week.Thin, cheap leather sole showed significant wear after a year, was worn through within 18 months. I see they are now using a plastic sole that looks like leather. No idea if that will last any longer, but be aware Bostonian no longer uses real leather soles. Toebox upper is too wide and loose relative to the sole. Felt like my foot was overhanging the sole, but the next size wider had too tight upper and ridiculously wide sole. I strongly recommend stretching your budget to around one hundred fifty dollars and getting something from Florsheim or Johnston & Murphy.

I always order from Zappos and have never had any problems. Their service is excellent and the stuff is always shipped so quickly and with care. Bostonian shoes are the only thing that fit my very narrow size 14 foot. They are hard to break in like most quality dress shoes however I highly recommend these shoes. I have bought at least six pairs from Zappos now along with sandals and other items and have been highly impressed. Given my hard to fit size they have been able to fit me and I feel safe and secure ordering from Zappos--Awesome online company!

Beautiful dark brown shoe. Very comfortable, and goes great with my brown suit. Plus, I grew up in Andover, Massachusetts, so how could I resist this shoe? This was my first time buying dress shoes over the Internet, but I was persuaded due to the return postage included policy.

Very pleased but minor flaws...
The shoes are absolutely amazing. Only problem is that the sole will squeak if it gets wet. It seems as if it is real loose and water gets in it. The only other mentionable thing is that they are loud shoes.

Great shoe, true to size. Had previously purchased the Akron from a brick and mortar. Found it a bit too narrow for my taste (although it was extremely comfortable). No blisters, no heel or ankle rubbing after the first day. Felt broken in almost immediately. I highly recommend this brand/style... and Zappos! was as great as ever with shipping and customer service.

I've purchased these shoes before. They need break in time. After that, they are great! My shoes from Zappos came faster than expected and in perfect condition.

I've seen your company's CEO interview on Oprah show and he was emphasizing on customer service. I thought I should give it a try and bought this pair shoes for my husband. Truly I'm baffled by customer service. Thumps up, you guys got yourself another loyal customer.

Finish pealing off -
I have bought several pair of Bostonian Andover shoes over the years and have been more than satisfied...until this last pair. The finish is literally pealing off the shoe. While shopping, I saw new shoes in the store that were exhibiting the same problem. I did not buy a pair.

Pretty good -
A good price for a versatile dress shoe. I have wide feet and was pleased with the width. The heel is a bit loose and the shoes are fairly stiff, which has made for an uncomfortable break-in period.

It is great to find a dress shoe for my son, because he is in between men's and boy's sizes. These shoes are great because they are classic and comfortable. My son actually wears a 7 and we had to go a size down. He does have a rather narrow foot.

Really good fit in the narrow size. I have a hard time finding shoes that fit my narrow foot but this really fits well. As with any dress shoe, it took a few long days to really break in but once they did they are comfortable as well.

Great shoes for the money -
This is my second pair of these shoes that I have bought from Zappos. I really appreciate the reviews because it was helpful to know that they did run true to size. They are a great value for the money. I have big (13), narrow (B) feet that are very hard to buy for and these shoes, just like my fellow reviewers found, fit perfect. It is great to have these shoes just a "click" away. It saves me the pain of going from shoe store to shoe store and then having to settle for something that they have in my size and close to the style that I want. Zappos is fantastic and the prices are great.

They Actually Fit -
I ordered these shoes for my husband to wear in the police academy. It was hard to find size 16 shoes, but these are actually stylish AND the right size. The price was a little high for our needs, but when you're looking for shoes in such a rare size, even that wasn't so bad.

Nice Dress Shoe -
I normally wear Florsheim and that's what I originally ordered, but upon receiving them, I noticed they had a more squared off toe than the pictures looked like. I returned them and ordered the Bostonian Andover. These shoes have a much more traditional look and appeal. A quality shoe with good leather. Holds a very nice shine. I think your shoes make a strong statement about yourself in the business world, and these shoes look good. Very nice shoe for the price.

Good shoe to wear, not as comfortable as their crown Windsor collection but can only get at a brick and mortar store, still recommend for a cheaper alternative that looks extremely attractive.

A fine high gloss dress shoe -
In the older style of leather shoes, these need to be broken in a bit before the user can really appreciate them. I found my pair to be true to size if not a smidgen larger.
I have these as a cheap alternative to my Allen Edmunds and they are doing well so far.

 |  | Hi, Zappos has been one of my favorite shopping sites for a while, but now my teenage son is a fan. He is 15 and wears a size 15 shoe. It is no easy feat to find a shoe that he will wear that is in his size. Other stores carry the skate brands, but stop at a size 13. I suggested he look on your site and he found several styles he would wear in size 15. We placed the order for a pair of Vans and 20 minutes later, I got a confirmation that they were shipped.
