They will hurt at first...
Great quality in and out. Tight at first but with a day or two will stretch to your foot. These are hand made and so take some time to break in. The rubber bottom is great as I am on my feet all day.
Well worth the money as it is great to find this kind of quality again in a shoe. Will be buying a lot more from A/E. Of course Zappos is a pleasure.

Unrealistic expectation -
I have an ache/pain in my right foot, unknown etiology. Have purchased, perhaps, a dozen different shoe brands. Allen Edmonds was last resort and made in USA. Have worn twice to work and continue to experience discomfort, in varying degrees, as I had with other brands. Perhaps they will become more comfortable after break-in. I like the look of the shoe, workmanship, softness of the leather and the left shoe feels comfortable. Overall, for someone with a "normal" right foot, I would recommend.

Happy Feet -
The Becker was my first rubber soled AE shoe. I didn't think that any shoe could be more comfortable then AE's all leather shoes. I was wrong, the Becker is the most comfortable AE (or any other) shoe I have owned. Well worth the price. Features: No break-in required, just a bit more room in the toe box for those of us with duck feet, all day comfort, light and nimble, and butter soft leather uppers.

Order in the Court -
Excellent shoe. I'm a lawyer and have always worn only leather-soled shoes, but I have a b width and they've become more and more uncomfortable. I wanted a lawyer shoe and these can pass. Very comfortable. I usually wear a 10 but a 9 in this shoe. Zappos is good. Can we get them to sell cigars?

Great "combat boots"
Great shoe for daily "combat" at the office. Light weight, very comfortable, sturdy. Like the pebble grain finish.

Very comfortable right out of the box. True to size. Look and feel good. Highly recommended. Worked well with my narrow foot.

 |  | Zappos is great. I have ordered several pairs of shoes now from Zappos and every order has been perfect. I had to make one return, and the correct product was sent as soon as I notified Zappos. I didn't have time to send the incorrect order back before the correct one was sent. That's service. Unless it is something special, keep up the great service.
