A class act -
These boots are first class in every way. They fit my wide calves and high instep perfectly. (That happens seldom!) The leather is elegantly soft and lovely to the touch. I was worried that without a zipper they would be a hassle to get on. NOT. Another thing I like is that they look very much like fine riding boots - a classic style. They are by far the most comfortable boots I've ever owned, you’ll be very pleased with them, and I’m sure.

As someone who has a hard time finding boots to fit over my upper calf, I was skeptical about a boot without a zipper, even if it is wide calf, going on and off smoothly. This boot proved me wrong. It looks great as a casual boot and can be dressed up as well.

Love these boots!
Finding boots that fit comfortably over my muscular calves and still look stylish has always been a challenge for me. These boots are great -- they pull on easily (no zipper), the lower heel makes them comfortable for walking, and the leather is soft and beautiful. For lower-heel boots, they are very stylish and look nice with skirts or pants. I was blown away when I ordered these on-line at 7 pm on a Thursday evening and they were delivered to my office by 10 am the next morning! Zappos service is amazing!

A tad too unfashionable for me :(
The leather seemed cheap. The ankle was too slouchy for the style- the shoe area is very streamline to appear stylish; however, with the slouchy ankle the whole look was a little too old/unstylish for my taste. Also, there was an added comfort/cushioning/gel that felt very awkward. The good news is that it actually fit my calf, which to be honest is quite an amazing feat! Overall- the style was a little too out dated which is obvious in the pictures, and I would blame my purchase on my novice skills in the online shoe ordering :(

Great boots for my calves -
I have 15.5" calves and these boots are amazing. I’m able to tuck in my pants with it and people seem to notice the boots. I love the color!

Great Leather Boots -
The size of the foot was perfect. I never thought I would buy a boot without a zipper, but these go on great, and feel snug. The shaft is very wide, a bit wider than stated. The leather is very soft and the boot very well made. I haven't been able to find boots for years, and these are great. I love them.

Bingo - this is the one -
After sending for and exchanging three other pairs of boots for different reasons, this boot is the one for me. The shaft is just a bit wider and very comfortable if one has a bit of calf muscle. The leather is soft and heel is just the right height. Boot is smooth inside and has a secure snug fit through heel and instep.

Great fit - love them -
Great fit, length and width and finally found a boot to fit my wide calves. It's a little loose which makes it look a very little bit slouchy, but I like the look and finally found a taller boot that will fit my calves.

Love these boots!
For those with a wide calf, wide foot and wide ankle, it's often very difficult to find a smart-looking boot to fit. I just found mine after searching for months! This boot looks great with skirts as well as pants, and is comfortable enough to wear all day at work. An added advantage is it's skid-resistant sole ... great if you live in the land of ice and snow, like me.

I loved these so much in black that I bought them in brown the following week. I'd been so frustrated with not being about to buy boots that fit over my calves. These are great and the heel height is perfect for comfort. I'll wear these all the time in the winter.

Good boot overall -
These boot are very easy to get on and off. I found the shaft to fit larger than expected and the heel area is a little too wide. It's a hassle to find shoes that are wide enough across the middle of my foot and these were the exception. Since I also have a very high arch I will need to add support. With some minor alteration by a cobbler to make the shaft smaller these will end up being my winter boots for years. This was my first order since moving so I placed it before changing my address. Customer Service for Zappos was excellent! From dialing the 800 number to changing my shipping address was 6 minutes. Despite my error and it being after 6 p.m. Zappos still had these boots on my doorstep the next day.

Didn't fit -
Despite the very wide size that I got this boot did not fit my foot. The toe area is way too narrow to be comfortable. The rest of the boot seemed to fit fine but if your feet hurt who cares? I will be returning them.

I love the boots I ordered I have had a hard time finding something that would fit my wide calf. I was taking a chance on ordering these, but since shipping was free I thought it wouldn’t hurt to try these. I just wore for the first time yesterday to work and they were very comfortable. Too Bad!
I loved the look of this boot and the wide calf is perfect BUT... the 9.5W had huge heels that slipped on and off and in the 10M the toes were too tight. Too bad, because they are beautiful boots. The service from Zappos was top-notch, as always.

Beautiful Boots for Big Legs!
I've been searching for the perfect boot for 2 years. I'm "pleasing plump" and I needed a good looking boot that would accommodate my big legs and bad knees. This is it. These boots are beautiful, trendy and comfortable. All of this and a great price too! I'm ordering the black ones also.

Great boot -
I have been looking for a comfortable boot for a long time. My wide foot size and generous calf made most boots impossible for me to wear. It was a great find with the Sharona boot. I plan to purchase a brown pair next year.

Nice boots -
These are comfortable, cute boots. If you have really big calves, these are more like half-boots, better for long skirts and pants. The leather is soft enough to scrunch the boots if you choose. If you want boots that come up to your knees, your calves can't be bigger than 16" circumference.

Great look, no arch support at all -
I really like these boots but they are a bit big around the ankle and arch... I actually bought them to go with a Halloween costume but when I put them on I realized that I was going to have to wear them with arch support inserts or they would just slip off my feet. They look very good and go well with long skirts and under jeans (great winter boots), but are very roomy and have absolutely no arch support. Think about ordering a half size smaller than you normally would.

Just a PERFECT fit!
I have a wide calf problem and worried that these might not fit well. They were wonderful and I think that they are a bargain at the price I paid! This type of boot is hard to come by and I encourage you to consider for your own wardrobe. My best to the good folks at Zappos...customer service at its best!!!

Narrow toe area, cavernous heel area -
Loved this pair of boots that I could just slip on and off, as if I didn't have my thunder calves! Too bad it doesn't come in WW width, I had to order an 8W and added a thin 3/4 length padding because the heel area was just huge. Great service with the speed my order came in - Thanks! The dark brown leather is lovely and smooth, though one side had an indentation from some near-puncture, but hidden well enough. A rounded and more generous toe area would make it perfect for me.
