I love my Hunters! I was convinced the women's 8 was too big until I tried a 7 and realized that those were a little snug, so I kept the 8s. I double up on socks. They are super comfortable!

I love my Hunters! I have the navy (I ordered both the glossy graphite and the merlot - the merlot was much more brown than red). I usually wear a size 9 or 9.5, so I originally ordered an 8 due to other reviews, but they were too small in the foot. I then ordered a 9, but my toe slightly touched the end of the shoe, so I ended up with a size 10. The 20 fit perfectly - I wear two pairs of socks, which also helps with warmth. Highly recommend them, and Zappos.

These boots were on my daughter-in-law's wish list for Christmas. I ordered them one day and they arrived the next. I could not believe it. She was so excited when she opened them. They fit perfectly.

Worth every penny! There's a reason these Wellies have their excellent reputation. I wear these to do SERIOUSLY muddy yard work, construction on our remodel, and every other dirty job I have. Then I simply hose them off to wear with skirts or jeans. They are very versatile, perfectly comfortable, and practically indestructible! I love them!

Best colour! Picture doesn't really show this but it's a dark brown/black/green that goes with all colours. Bought for my mother in USA, she thinks she has to wear skinny jeans with these. That might be case in USA fashion but in UK, everyone from Queen to paupers wears these in bad weather with all clothing including skirts and dresses (within reason of course). No more salt stains ruining your leather shoes. Just buy warm socks or liners or your feet will freeze (hence the 4 star rating). The short boot version is nice too and perhaps more practical for some.
Other brands recommended by reviewer: Nothing to do with this style but Chie Mihara shoes are the best for fashion and comfort if not wallet

Zappos is fast and reliable superior shopping experience to concrete structures! When you know what you want or even shopping to fill a need without specifics - you will have success without stress right here. The on line ordering system is easy to navigate and the shipping confirmation and delivery are punctual. The Hunter boots fit as everyone stated, about a half size smaller than the American size listed. I ordered 2 pair for 2 children, one fit perfectly and the other had to be exchanged. The return systems is a breeze, and the replacement boots were here in 1 day! Excellent service!

I ordered these boots for my daughter for her Birthday. We could not find any in the brick and morter stores, all sold out. It was suggested by a sales person at a local department store to try Zappos, which we did. They were temporarily out of stock but sent us an email within 2 weeks alerting us they were back in stock. I immediately ordered them, needless to say my daughter was very happy, they were everything she was expecting. Zappos customer service was very pleasant and accommodating. I highly recommend them. We will definitely continue to do business here.

I bought the Hunter boots for my 37 year old daughter who works in a stylish type job. She loves fashion. She loves these boots. I have seen her wearing them numerous times since she got them at Christmas. She changes them up with different wellie sock cuffs that fold over the top. She has a wellie coin purse that attaches on them as well. She tells me they are very comfortable and she couldn't be happier! Wow, couldn't ask for more than that!

My daughter wanted the Hunter boots for Christmas and the department stores couldn\'t locate a pair in her size. A salesperson recommended we try Zappos. This was so easy, I went online and not only did they have her size in the color she wanted but the shipping was free. It couldn\'t have been any easier. Thank you Zappos.

I bought these boots for my wife. She loves them. The quality is good, but the fit is a little off. Make sure the buy a size down (i.e. if she is a size 8 go for 7, size 7 1/2 go for 7). I would also like to mention that Zappos is a great company to order from. I could not find these boots in her size anywhere within 100 miles of where I live. Most of the online store were also out of stock. Zappos came through and I received my order within 3 days of ordering, that is with the standard shipping. I would definitely order from them again.

I am very pleased with my Original Hunter boots. I was worried they would be too big or too small since I've read a lot about their sizes not being true to form, so this is what I know. I wear a 7 1/2(US) and the size 7 fits perfectly. At first I thought they were a tad loose, but once I added the Hunter fleece socks + my regular socks they fit snug and perfect and without the fleece sock it fits very well. A bit loose in the heel, but not enough to care. The boots are very comfortable to walk in all day (similar to Converse tennis shoe comfort).

Love it! These are fantastic boots! Wearing them in the rain is just one of many opportunities to use these! I love them for working in the yard, gardening, walking the dog and "emergency" runs to the mailbox. I keep them right by my door. Also, another great use has been to go to my friends farm and see the horses. While these are not steel toe, or paddock boots, they are excellent for walking through muck and mud. You just hose 'em off at the end of the day. My kids have the matching wellies socks, super. Wish Zappos would bring them in for the grown ups, too! I tried the "shiny" ones first, but prefer these.

I've had a pair of these for a few years now and my wife has been envious since my purchase. I bought her a pair for Christmas and she absolutely loves them. Since getting them, she has struck a fun balance wearing them both practically and fashionably. I did take note of the other reviewers here claiming the boots run a size larger than your foot size. It was true for myself and my wife. She's also added the Hunter Welly socks to the mix and dropping down a size did not effect the fit for her. These are great boots, from a great company.

These are the ultimate rain boots! I got them in brown. They look great with jeans and not at all "clunky" and because they are matte finish, not really like rain boots. Worn with the Hunter socks your feet will stay warm and dry. We go to football games in Mississippi. If it has rained, it can get real muddy. My Hunter boots look stylish and have good treads for slip-proof walking.

I am 5'8" with a 34 inch inseam. I have been looking for rain boots for a very long time and they have been too wide and too short. I decided to buy the Hunter Orginals because of the height and width, along with the brand name being well recommended. A lot of people have been writing about going down a size because they run big. They do run big, but with the Hunter socks they fit perfect. If Hunter had half sizes that would be perfect. Either way I love the boot and the style. Perfect for snow and rain while still trying to be fashion forward.

Okay, so I told my husband that I wanted more Hunter Boots for Christmas, so he purchased 3 pair for me. Pumpkin, Graphite & Navy. I loved the Pumpkin color, but they had a really strong rubber odor so I sent those back. Graphite Gloss was really nice, but the color looked very similar to the chocolate pair I already own. The navy was perfect, so I kept those. They actually feel softer and more pliable then the original chocolate pair I have. I love the way they look with skinny jeans and a heavy wool knit turtleneck sweater. I think a green pair would be another great addition, don't you? Buy these boots, you'll be so happy you did!

Not only are these boots great for the rain, and snow, but they look really good. They are really comfortable. You might want to wear thick socks with them, your feet might get cold. At first I was indecisive about what color to buy, I went with the Hunter green. I'm glad I did. I love my Hunter boots.

I love my Hunter boots! I have a really high instep and boots are a thorn in my flesh, especially when they don't have a zipper. But I went for it anyway, and no problem. They slip right on, they are comfortable, not too heavy and look cool to boot. Excuse the pun.

The Hunter boots are excellent. They arrived on schedule. They were a Christmas gift for my daughter and she loves them. The price on Zappos was slightly better than other online retailers and Nordstrom stores so I'm happy with my purchase!
