I have people ask me all the time “are those steel toes”. I always say thanks for asking because my safety is important. These shoes are fantastic they are comfortable, great looking, and affordable. I would recommend these shoes to anyone.

Zappos Rocks!!
I can't tell you how very, very, very, incredibly happy I am with this shoe!! I needed steel toes for work and thought I could get by with a $20 cheapo pair until my six months was up and the company would buy me some. Well my feet hurt every time I put those boots on and it started wearing me down. I had heard about Zappos from a couple of friends and decided to check and see if they offered work boots. Yes, they do and in so many styles. Great to have so many options.
I settled on these Nautilus shoes, but they didn't have my size. A couple of days later I got an e-mail saying that they had gotten my size in. I ordered and was so pleased to find out that they shipped them quicker than expected. I got them in 2 days and just in time for a busy work week.
Now, I've always had to have a break in period for any shoe that I've worn. I tried these on the minute I got home from work. Figured it would be an excellent time to see if they were as comfortable as all of the other customer reviews said. End of the day; my feet were tired and swollen. I loved these the minute I put them on. I wore them the very next day and worked for six hours at my Newspaper production (translates to: I work in a sort of factory job) gig and I was still wearing them at the end of the day. No blisters anywhere. I think they are true to size. They are so light weight and comfy that they don't feel like work boots at all.
I showed them to some other women at work and I'm ordering another pair for one of them. She tried on my shoe and loved it, too.

Heaven Sent!!!
I just received treatment for heel spurs and plantar fasciitis; received the cortisone shots, taped feet, orthotics - the whole deal. A friend of mine told me to begin ordering from Zappos. This was one of the first shoes that stood out to me. It is exactly my sort of style. I ordered them with the mind of taking out the insoles to accommodate my orthotics and they didn't exactly fit. However, to my surprise, I didn't need to because it supported my foot on its own. I am a nurse who needs to have comfortable shoes on and off the job and this is what the doctor literally ordered! They need more colors - that is the only complaint I have!

Great Safety Shoe Choice -
Am very pleased with these shoes. Bought them to use for work and wanted a shoe that would almost look like a "normal" shoe. These are very comfortable and I love that they're slip-on. Size is great and they don't slide off of my feet and my toes have enough room to move. Wore them for 11 hour days and they were still comfortable. Not too heavy either. Would definitely recommend these to someone looking for a new safety shoe.

Good Work Shoe -
I bought this shoe for a service trip to New Orleans. I wore it while we were tearing out walls putting in new dry wall as well. The shoes were filthy, but I washed them off and they are as good as new. The potential things that I would drop on my feet were demolition tools and other small steel tools, so the toe was helpful. There were nails everywhere, and the sole held up well. They are a little clunky for everyday, but overall comfortable to work in and very sturdy.

Best steel toe shoe I have ever owned!
These shoes are so comfortable and lightweight that you forget they are steel toed. I actually came home from work after standing all night on 3rd shift and changed my clothes and went shopping and looked down and realized I had on my steel toes instead of my Eastlands that look and feel just like them. I have had problems for 5 years with steel toe shoes and I finally have found a pair that is comfortable. Order your normal shoe size.
