These are probably the most comfortable shoes I have ever bought. I have always had problems with my toes hurting in shoes. The description promised no seam irritation. It\'s the truth! There was no break in period. The first day felt like old comfy shoes.

Very comfortable and very stable shoe. I can walk in them all day. Great arch support. Runs true to size. I owned two pairs, white and black. Wish they were a little more stylish, though. Great shoes.

These shoes are very comfortable and supportive. Great arch support and ankle support. They are kind of clunky, but the comfort level makes up for it!

Seems to run 1/2 size large. Plenty of width in the WW size. Able to fit my orthotic in comfortably. Would purchase again.

These shoes were good to go right out of the box, and the box arrived so fast! The shoes seem very well made, but a little heavy. Or, maybe I'm just not used to good quality shoes that happen to fit just right. Whatever the case may be I will be back to Zappos! I will never have to shop a dozen different shoe stores just to end up settling for cruddy shoes that don't fit my wide, flat feet. Comfort and quality with this purchase. Thanks!

Most comfortable shoes for sore feet!!
I have more problems with my feet than I care to go into but these shoes (with my orthotics) have made such a difference. I am buying them in white as well!!

I take an 8.5 W and found these shoes to be about a half size smaller. My toes just about reach the top of the shoe so thick socks are out. The width is a little snug also. If the shoe was more rounded at the top than it would feel more comfortable in the width. New Balance shoes provide more room than these shoes do. These shoes have much more cushion in them compared to New Balance. I have plantar fasciitis and have not yet added my ortho. inserts. So the jury is out on that as to whether these shoes will help it or not. I kept these shoes in hope that they will stretch a little bit more to make them fit better. Right now I cannot not recommend them to people with wide feet. I want to add that the heel area fits nice and securely.

Saucony Progrid Stabilizer shoe -
I like Saucony because it has more depth and I wear a full size orthotic which fits in comfortably. Also it seems to be strong enough for the collar of the shoe to not "break down" as some softer leather shoes did from the orthotic which is very very sturdy. Also liked that Zappos got it to me so quickly as I have never bought personal items online better. Such service made my fears dissolve from the stories I've heard about online purchases.

I ordered these shoes after I started a new job that required me to be on my feet at least 6 hours a day. After the first week, my feet hurt so bad that I knew I would have to find shoes that did not hurt or quit the job. These shoes are so comfortable. I have had bunion surgery on both feet and these shoes do not hurt at all!

Love these shoes.
These shoes fit great & have held up really well. I also have tan & white ones. They are so comfortable they feel like they were made just for me. Stability & cushion is great.

Like the shoe, style is nice, had to send back one to get a larger size, ran a half size small.
I like that there is no shipping fee.
Stand on my feet all day, first day no break in time was fine all day. My left foot turns to the side and I thought these would stop that but I can see it is happening after one day.

As a letter carrier I require a very comfortable walking shoe. Although I do not believe such a thing exists, the Saucony Progrid Stabil LE 4 comes as close to that ideal as anything I've tried so far. For anyone who has to be on their feet & walk 6 hrs plus like I do, these shoes are a great choice.

As an orthotic user, this shoe looks and feels like a regular sneaker. It's a great wear-all-day shoe.

Great walking shoe -
Perfect walking shoe for two weeks in London and I did A LOT of walking! Great cushioning, but still provided good arch support and motion control. Worked well w/ my prescription orthotics. As with Saucony running shoes I have worn which fit narrow heels well, these also fit securely against my heels. Wish the toe area of shoe was a bit more rounded and not as pointy, just because I would like that look better. The white color gave them a good casual dress look without looking like a running shoe. No breaking in needed, able to wear them all day first time I wore them.

I need a double wide!
I'm talkin' about the shoe, not a mobile home! I have really short, fat, feet and normally wear a 5.5 Wide Saucony. I need lots of room in the toe box and these just squished my toes. Fortunately, Zappos had ONE PAIR LEFT in a 5.5WW, so I am exchanging. I hope they are comfortable because I otherwise like the way the shoe fits. The bone color is a nice change from white.

Best shoe ever!!!!
I am in LOVE with these shoes. Just ran across them and decided to give them a try...so glad I did. This is the first shoe I have EVER worn that my feet have room to sit flat on the bottom without the toes and sides all crunching up. Can wear them all day on a concrete floor and still smile at the end of the day...you will not be sorry for buying these shoes!!!!

After being told to try Saucony by several different people, I finally did. I am sorry I waited so long. I have problems finding shoes that don't kill my toes and arches. These are kind to both!

Somewhat disappointed -
When I tried these on at home, thought they would be perfect for my daily 2.5 mile walk. After actually walking in them for two days, my feet did not feel the same. This might be a 'break in' effect, but my past Saucony's didn't have this same effect. Still haven't figured out what's different, but something is!

This shoe, while comfortable and well fitting, isn't as perfect as my Hurricane 9s. However, I recognize that this is a different type of shoe. I find that I tire a little more quickly when I wear this shoe. If I wear them too long, I have a slight backache. It doesn't take care of my overpronation as well as the others. It does serve the purpose of having a semi-dressy shoe that I can wear with slacks and not feel that I'm in an athletic shoe. I'm satisfied with this purchase for the most part and the Zappos great service is the same.

Not the shoe for me...
I'm still looking for a black sneaker-type shoe and was hoping (after reading the reviews) that this was the one. No dice. The arch support felt great! But the sizing was off. I ordered my usual size, 7W, and the shoes felt big and clunky. Slipped in the heel and I know a smaller size wouldn't work because of the length. I believe these would be very comfortable shoes - padding in the right places - IF they fit. Certainly not very stylish, but that wouldn't bother me if they fit well.

Great Walking Shoe -
I wore these shoes for the first time today on a 3 mile walk. Very comfortable and no rubbing at all!
They're not the most attractive shoes I've owned - I think they're a little clunky looking, but comfort is my first concern and these shoes fill the bill!
I bought a half size larger than my usual size, but I've found that this type of shoe usually runs a little shorter than casual and dress shoes. My foot is a little narrow, but the shoe fits snugly, with plenty of room in the toe area.

Best I have ever had -
I have had many different makes, styles and kinds of athletic shoes over the years and these are without a doubt the best I have ever had. I have very hard to fit feet, and these were perfect! I have even had athletic shoes specially "fitted" by custom shoe places and these are better than any those places wanted me to get. These shoes fit all of my foot. I have a wide front foot and very narrow heel. Normally if I get one wide enough for the front of my foot to be comfortable, the heel is way too big. If I get one that the heel doesn't drop all the way off my foot, the front of it is way too tight. These are perfect front and heel. Plus amazing comfort. Can't think of any better shoe. I loved mine so much, I got a pair of men's for my husband and he is as happy with his as I am with mine.

 |  | My first experience with Zappos.com was during the winter a few years ago when I needed a pair of silver sandals to wear during the holidays. I saw Zappos.com advertised at the airport and thought to see what they were about. The rest is history. During that search for sandals I had as many as nine pairs here to try. They came the day after I ordered them via FedEx and those I didn't choose (I ended up with two pairs) I put back in the box, taped it shut, attached the prepared return label they had enclosed with the shipment, and dropped them off at the packaging store that same day. They were gone almost as easily as walking away from a pile of tried on rejects in the department store! Since then I use them more than 70% of the time when I am shoe shopping. There really isn't anything quite like trying on shoes with the clothes in my closet as well as trying for fit and comfort. It's an ideal way to buy shoes and I highly recommend it!
