I\\\'m somewhat atypical as I use these for playing the organ. These slippers work well for me and are very comfortable. My only complaint is that they bunch up along my arch which gets in my way sometimes. I suppose that may be a function of the pre-sewn elastics which I may try to move. In any case, I\\\'m pretty happy with them.

Great service, very fast. I purchased them to use during my yoga routine and they work pretty good except there is not much room in the toe area for good balance. I am thinking that I should have ordered a half size larger that I wear. The shoe is made well and again, the service was great! Thanks!

The fastest shipping I ever saw! And very easy to return the shoes that I ordered in the wrong sizes. The shoes are exactly what I wanted. I bought them to dance in at my wedding reception...but then I will probably live in them! I wear steel toed shoes at work and I love to slip into a comfortable foot cover that I can even wear outside. These shoes are perfect for that!

I really like these slippers -
They are comfortable and are easy to slip on or off. They take a little getting used to but all and all I’d say I love them. They look good with anything. I think I made a great buy!

Definitely order 2 sizes down with these. The wide ones are VERY WIDE! I usually take a wide shoe, and these gap like nobody's business. The lining is a little baggy, which is very annoying. If I didn't need them for a class today I'd definitely return them for 1/2 size smaller (making them 2.5 total sizes smaller) and the M width. But alas, I need them for today. The high vamp on these makes the feet look very ungainly.

Sizing is Retarded -
I don't understand their sizing at all. Why not just make them true size and get it over with? I took other reviewers advice and bought a 5 where I'd normally get a 7 and they were still loose. Considering they are real leather and meant to dance in they could only get looser. Since these are just for a wedding, I will keep them but overall they're not the greatest. I'll be buying Capezio exclusively in the future.

Great for lounging around the house. If you wear them outside they don't give much protection against sharp rocks.

Ballet Slipper -
Excellent description of the product, especially the notation that it should not be ordered to true shoe size but 2 sizes smaller. The ballet slipper fit perfectly using this guideline and is being work daily at high school musical rehearsals and performances. Will be a return buyer.

Allowed me to turn quickly on pavement for a live outdoor performance, which is all I needed. Don't expect a perfect fit, but an affordable serviceable dance shoe.

A so-so shoe.
Although well made, of fine leather, I was disappointed in the style and the fit. My street shoes are a size 8 medium width and I usually buy a size 6 medium ballet slipper. These run a bit larger, so a 5 1/2 medium or maybe a 6 narrow would have been better. Also, the elastics are sewn in too far back, making them fit too snug across the instep. As far as style, I found the higher vamp to be less attractive than those cut lower; they make my feet look bigger than normal...

Great Shoe for the Price!
This shoe is wonderful! It is very comfortable and fits great. I have a wide foot, and the wide size roomy enough. The suggestion to order 2 sizes smaller is good advice. They fit like a glove!

Wonderful customer service -
I was sent a child's size 11 instead of an adult 11; I know this for a fact, because the shoes fit perfectly my 5 1/2 year old niece. Customer service was helpful about trying to come up with solutions when I called them about this, though, but in the end, I gave the shoes to my niece instead of returning them, and actually found a Capezio pair through zappos.com --which I ordered early on a Wednesday morning and received the next evening!!-- which fits me beautifully. My niece and I are BOTH very happy with our shoes; hers match her fairy outfit, and mine are great for bellydance practice (the reason I was shopping for ballet shoes in the first place).

I ordered these shoes as suggested in two sizes down and it was perfect. I have owned ballet slippers before and these are wonderful. I have wide feet and these accommodated my feet so well.

I didn't read the reviews before I ordered my first pair, and they were way too big! So, I definitely think ladies should order 2 sizes smaller than their "street" size. Good luck!

This was a wonderful purchase and a great shoes. The service was the best part, I ordered the wrong size and Zappos came through with painless and out if the ordinary wonderful service, I wish I had stock in this company as they are retail marvels!!

Great for the price but uncomfortable -
I got these shoes not to dance in, but as part of my Halloween costume. For the price, I won't complain but the sole is not comfortable and the shoe was big. I ordered two sizes bigger than my street size as instructed, but I think a size and a half would have been better. At least the drawstring makes it somewhat adjustable!

I'm no ballerina!
I actually bought these to wear with my fairy costume for Halloween. By adding glitter paint and rhinestones they make wonderful, comfortable Fairy Slippers!

Women's size was Child's size -
While searching for a women's size 9 shoe of any type, this ballet slipper came up. I ordered the size 9.
I was quite surprised and disappointed when the slipper turned out to be about 4 inches long. Obviously a child's or infant's shoe, not a women's.
I did not return the shoe. The price was not worth the return postage.
As far as the appearance and quality of the slipper, I would say the miniature ones I received looked as if there are very nicely made and would hold up to a lot of wear.

I just wanted to send a quick thank you to all of you for being such a wonderful company. I have ordered from you several times in the past and have always enjoyed your wide selection, fast shipping, and easy return policy. However, while these are great attributes of a company, they don't usually inspire me to write feedback emails raving about the company. About a week ago, I wanted to order a pair of shoes I'd had my eye on for quite some time. I shopped around but, as usual, Zappos.com had the best price (and free shipping!). However, when I tried to order, neither you nor any other website I visited had the shoes in my size. I called your customer service number to find out if they had been discontinued. In my experience, these sort of help lines rarely produce any sort of useful information, so I don't usually expect a whole lot from them. I called at around 5:30am Eastern Time, and was thrilled someone actually answered the phone that early in the morning! That would have been enough to make me a happy customer, however in true Zappos.com form, my experience exceeded expectations. Not only was the representative friendly and helpful, he took time to check your inventory and find out if the shoes had been discontinued. Then, he checked out other websites to find out if they had the shoes in my size! After several minutes of searching, he was able to find one website with one remaining pair in my size. However, at that point I was so impressed with Zappos.com that there was no chance of me ordering those shoes from any other website! So thank you to Zappos.com and that customer service representative, whoever he is, for such stellar customer service! Keep up the great work!
