These sandals are classic yet fashionable. The leather is buttery soft; the fit, oh so comfy. I think I should have at least 2 other colors besides mahogany. Zappos has THE best service! Ordered yesterday; arrived today! I really appreciate the reviews because that helps me decide on buying.

These are dream boots! They are made of a very high quality, soft leather, and shape the feet very nicely. On top of that, they are high fashion and best of all, COMFORTABLE!!! I think I need both colors!

Love my Gentle Souls!
I first tried these shoes on in SF at the beginning of the summer. They did not have the color I wanted so as soon as we arrived at our cabin I was on Zappos website and of course they had just what I wanted. I wish they weren't quite so expensive but my feet don't seem to mind...they love the way they fit! I have kind of a wide foot and these fit me perfectly and so, so comfortable!

This is one of those I wanted to love, but the right sandal felt a bit large and neither seemed to stay on my foot. I walked only from my chair to the mirror and had to sort of shuffle just to keep them on. They do look great (I bought the silver), but I am returning them because I can tell they'll just never work for me. (Insert sad-face emoticon here.)

Due to high arches, many sandals aren't comfortable. I comfortably wore these all day the first time and love the flax seed soul as it molds to my foot without foot fatigue. The leather across the vamp does stretch so if it's a little tight to begin with, be patient. Also it slaps the floor at bit when I walk but I'll exchange that for the comfort. I may even buy another pair.

You'll be glad you did!
I'm on my second pair. I fully intend to order a third soon. They've changed the style just a bit since my first pair (3-4 years ago??), but I'm OK with that since they fit a flexible foot belonging to a "mature" woman. Lots of people ask where I got them. At first I kept it a secret! CAVEAT: Don't wear them in totally underwater situations...the "innards" aren't made for deep puddles. I live in Seattle, so it's not like you can't wear them when it's damp outside! Just treat them nicely...they're worth it. You wouldn't wear your Rabotins for boat shoes, either!

CONFUSED -
I am still deciding whether I am keeping this shoe.
I am very hard to fit and so many designers do not make the shoes true to size. This shoe is just right in length. The reason I'm confused is that the top is stretched over the sandal very tightly. Perhaps because the leather will stretch. I have worn them in the house to see if I can get comfortable in them. They are better than when I first got them, but I don't know if they will be comfortable if I had them on for several hours. They are growing on me though and they are the type of sandal that goes with allot like skirts, shorts, jeans, etc... For a plain sandal they're chic.

I wanted to love these -
I like the look of the shoe, but the sole was kind of weird. It just felt odd. I did not want to risk a problem with a shoe that was over $170. The leather work however is beautiful.
