This shoe is incredible--comfortable, nice looking, and no issues with blisters anywhere. My toes did the happy dance when I put these on! The arch is awesome, something I require since I teach school, and I'm on my feet all day.

LOOKS, COMFORT, HEALTH -
This pretty shoe which I bought for winter has sparked many compliments already. The comfort of the shoe is amazing, with the arch placed perfectly, and the inner gel technology working so that you even notice the comfort during the day. Of course the trademark lowered heel aligns your posture to protect so many aspects of the health of your bones. That lowered heel also burns calories and gives your hamstrings a gentle stretch. Who could ask for anything more?

Basically comfortable shoe -
I've been trying to get some style of Earth shoe that would be suitable to wear to work for quite a while. The trouble with most of the styles of Earth shoes is that they tend to rub along my ankle bone. This (so far) is the only style that is cut low enough around the ankle area not to do that. That said, it is a cute shoe, the arch support is a dream and after getting used to the "odd" feeling after wearing them the first day they felt great. My feet, legs and lower back felt really relaxed at the end of the day. I believe they tend to run a little large; I definitely have to wear socks with them. I wish Earth shoes would have more "dressy" styles, without straps and be cut lower around the ankle bone. Once you get used to the style they are amazingly comfortable.

Very Comfortable!
I have heel spurs arthritis in my feet and find most shoes impossible to wear. This shoe has a wide toe box, nice arch support and comfortable right out of the box. The Mary Jane look works well enough to wear with skirts to the office. Zappos takes the pain out of shoe shopping.

I love this shoe! I've been wearing Earth shoes for several years now and this one is the most comfortable of all their great shoes. I ordered a second pair exactly like them for whenever they eventually wear out!

Adorable -
I'm giving this 4 stars for comfort because I've noticed a few issues with the shoes, though they're very comfortable overall. I'm a pharmacist and have to stand, but not walk, all day, and after about four hours the arch actually hurts a little. I think this might be because I haven't had them for very long, though, so maybe the arch will squish down a bit after a while. Also, there's a bone in one of my feet that hits right where the strap crosses. I think this along with the high cut in the back (my heel does move just a little, but that happens in most shoes) would be a problem if I had to walk in them. I do, however, have unusual feet (narrow heels, wide toes), so I think most people will find them much more comfortable.

Wonderful!
Just got these, and they are heavenly right out of the box. I like the real buckle, as it's cuter than the velcro styles like the solar and echelon - although those are favorites, too! The strap is perfectly placed, buckles easily and it feels like the shoe is a custom fit, no looseness or rough spots or blisters like some reviewers. I find all Earth shoes tend to feel cramped in my 'regular' size, so I always order next size up, but I think that's more my personal preference.

I LOVE these shoes!
They were PERFECT right out of the box! They have never given my feet one second of pain! Also, the customer service at Zappos was out of this world!!! I made a mistake in the color of my shoe, immediately called them and the telephone operator changed my order, and sent them FASTER! I ordered at 9 pm and they were at my house at 2 THE NEXT DAY!!! I will use Zappos time and again!

A convert!
I am a die-hard Birkenstock Footprints wearer. I love their footbed and the lack of a toe bar. I had avoided Earth shoes because of the Frankenstein-y toe box, but I needed something with a different footbed so that I could change things up a little. My requirements include a wide toe box, and the comfort and ability to withstand a 2 mile walk every morning on my way to work but still look good at the other end.
These turned out to be a fantastic option! My toes have plenty of space, and I experienced none of the strap problems others have reported. Cute and funky, and they sufficiently hide the peds I wear with all my shoes.

Critique of shoe -
The shoe is very attractive. However, the placement of the strap does not secure the foot in a comfortable way, and the shoe therefore feels a little loose on the foot. The strap also presses against a sensitive part of the top of the foot, so that is also uncomfortable. Perhaps they need to be broken in. They are not as comfortable as my Earth Echelons.

uncomfortable strap -
I was hoping that the negative heel would correct a foot problem that is apparently caused by my putting too much pressure on the big toe of my right foot when I walk. Unfortunately, my toe did not feel any better in this shoe. Too bad, because it's a really cute shoe. The only problem with the fit was that the shoe felt a bit too loose, but when I tightened the strap, it cut into my foot -- blisters waiting to happen. Socks might have solved this problem, but I didn't like the look of the socks with the Mary Jane style. Perhaps one of the options with velcro staps would have provided a better fit.

Best shoes ever. They are very comfortable, and they are very cute. Great support and I have a lot less back pain. Great support also. I'm a quality supervisor so I do a lot of walking around at work, and these shoes are very very comfortable. I just love them.

Nice all around shoe -
I bought this shoe for work. I have been having heel spur problems with my left foot and needed some good arch support. This shoe really has worked well for me. And kind of cute too - I get compliments when I wear them. The strap/buckle are nice. The negative heel takes a day or two to get used to (nothing painful but you do feel the stretching of the back leg muscles) but I think its something I needed for my foot anyway - the stretching is similar to the stretching I get with my physical therapy exercises. And my foot has greatly improved over the last few weeks since I've started wearing this shoe. The only negative was that I did have to wear a band-aid on my right little toe for the first two days of wear to break the shoes in. Now they are fine. Give them a try.

Earth Shoes have been around since I was a kid, and I wanted to try them again because I've learned that high heels are really nice to look at, but extremely hard on your feet and back. I was so excited to get my shoes, and they did not disappoint! I love them!! Of course they don't look like fashion model shoes, but I'm not interested in that anymore. If you want comfort and you're ready to be your own fashion statement, these shoes are for you! They look really bizarre at first, but once you start wearing them, the look becomes perfectly natural, and so does the way you feel when you walk in them! I recommend them very highly!!

BEST SHOES EVER.
Simply, the best. I get compliments every time I wear them. More comfortable than sneakers. I’m temped to buy several pairs so I’ll never have to be without them when these wear out. Greatest shoe. Also, other earth shoes, like allure, hurt the back of my ankles when I walk, these are much different. They’re wonderful. Great in black or brown but the brown is better.

This shoe is a little boxy at the toe, but the comfort outweighs that issue. Because of rheumatoid arthritis I look for comfortable shoes with wide toe boxes... this shoe is just that. With the strap I can adjust for a narrow heel and the angle of the heel keeps me off the balls of my feet… all great for my circumstances. The high quality finish/leather make the shoe look great too!

I love it! I bought this in burgundy and in black. I have noticed less back pain compared to wearing my Dansko clogs so as a physical therapist, I recommend this to anyone who has to stand and walk all day.

I love my red pair of Earth Ivy's. True to size, beautiful color (as pictured online) and super comfy! The red color and style of shoe goes with everything. I've gotten many complements on the first day of wearing them!
