I really love this shoe! I was really wondering if the negative heel thing would "feel any different" than a "regular" shoe, but it really does. It is really helping my lower back to feel better (I had pain in the lower back/hips consistently). It does take a little time to get used to - for me it was a few days of not too much walking (at work where I sit the majority of the day). The shoes have a good arch support & the sole is very comfortable & supportive. (I NEED a good arch support in my shoes now.) The service was fast & informative! The ship method was upgraded & I received the shoes the next day! Cool! I really appreciate the multiple views the site gives of each shoe, and all the information. I would definitely shop at Zappos.com again & am looking forward to purchasing more Earth shoes.

Toes are great. Heels rub. Strap is not comfortable. Worst part-after wearing 10 times almost too scuffed to wear.

A little bit of heaven...for my toes!
This is my 6th pair of Earth shoes...never had a problem with any. Wearable right out of the box! Roomy toe box and the strap keeps the shoe secure.
I'm hooked on Earth shoes---Take care of your feet!

I really like the strap on this shoe and I like how good of a quality it is, but I didn't keep it because of how the toe looks. I have friends that have this style and I love it on them. However, when I had it on me, it seemed to almost point up toward the ceiling. Unfortunately, it wasn't the appearance I was looking for, but the fit was just right.

It’s not easy for me to find shoes in my size (11-12), ones that give good arch support and that actually look good but these meet all three. I have arthritis in my left foot but the support and styling of these shoes helps alleviate it. They do tend to run a bit large so consider this when ordering. Never would have found them without Zappos---Thanks!

These shoes have ruined me for other shoes. I love them, but now it's hard to go back to other shoes that don't have the negative heel. I feel like I only want to wear these shoes.

Great walking shoe -
I have another pair of Earth shoes but wanted something a bit dressier than the sneaker version I have. I don't know if I am burning more calories by wearing them, but they are comfortable and look fun/funky, at least for someone my age (late 30s).

I am so glad that I ordered these shoes. I have a wide foot with a small bunion on the left and I was able to wear these right out of the box because of the wide toe box. The look great with jeans (which I wear most of the time) and are more comfortable than running shoes. I would definitely buy another pair if you had them.

Usually do not have trouble fitting shoes. But these hurt my foot around the arch; only feels good on a carpet. Maybe the will be good to you but these shoes are walking torture on the flats...but at least I look good.

Perfect shoe - I’m loving my two pairs of this shoe, black and brown, looks great with skirts and pants - not to mention how terrific they feel! I spent about $1,000 on chiropractor adjustments and I wanted to augment the good changes to my health. Earth shoes are just what I needed. They are the only shoes I will ever buy from now on. Zappos customer service reps are the best too!

Comfort!!! Stylish!!! Sweet!!! This is my second pair of these shoes, I love them! I have been stopped on the street in NYC...what kind of shoes are they...oh they still make earth shoes??? I absolutely love them. I am partial to wearing white ankle socks, and these shoes look adorable with them. I am also prone to what I call 5 o'clock feet, like my dogs are barking when it's time to go home. The comfort level of these shoes last all day!

I have several hard to fit foot trouble and these are very comfortable. Still not quite used to negative heel. Right now wear these at home and Naot Matai for work. Love Zappos!!!

Shades of the '70's! I couldn't believe that Earth shoes were still around. I had to get a pair and found the best deal on your web site. Your delivery was quick and free shipping greatly appreciated. Many companies ignore Hawaii customers when it comes to shipping--they overcharge for the service or come up with lame excuses why they can't send it here. Thank you!

Comfy, comfy, comfy! I bought these shoes for a trip to France this summer. I wanted something that was casual but nice, and could handle me walking around for hours on end. I have a pair of boots from Earth, so I was already familiar with the footbed and incredible support. The recessed heel gives a lot of arch support for me (I have foot issues due to a previously broken ankle). These shoes were perfect for the job. There were a lot of freak rain storms this trip, and my feet did not get wet from the bottom (but my jeans wicked up moisture to the top of my feet). My only recommendation: spray with water repellent/ Scotch Guard. My shoes now have this funky tie-died effect from the water stains. They felt true to size for me (39 EU), maybe a little large – I could get my fingers into the back of the shoe, but I prefer my shoes not to be too tight, considering they tend to swell a bit after walking all day. If you are looking for a cute, very comfortable pair of shoes to walk around Europe, I would buy these. They look great with jeans, shorts, and dresses and are very comfortable!

Great shoes for work - I ordered these in the white for work in a dental office. I prefer shoes with a more substance than the plastic wear that seems to be the newest favorite in the uniform shops. These shoes are comfy and cute. The leather is nice quality.

I used to wear Earth shoes in college and just loved them. These are the same just a little more stylish. They are so comfortable. You must have a pair or two.

My Favorite Shoes!!
At the recommendation of one of my colleagues, (I'm a teacher) I decided to try a pair of earth shoes. I've had issues with my feet (I have high arches that like to collapse) and legs since junior high. I have to wear custom orthotics in my sneakers, so I was thrilled that these shoes comfortably support my finicky feet throughout a full day of teaching! They do take a couple days to get used to, but TRUST ME, it's worth it! I used to wear sneakers all the time, but these are so more comfortable than my sneakers!

My favorite shoe!
This is the most comfortable shoe I have ever worn. The only reason I gave a 4 for comfort is because if I am standing in one spot for a long time, my feet get a little achy. I have a job where I'm on my feet all day (heck, I've walked 6 miles in these shoes) with no aches or fatigue. Will be getting another pair very soon!

I bought this shoe to wear on my trip to France this summer. I waned something I could walk all day in, and that looked good with a skirt or jeans.
These shoes are so comfortable. No break in time, no blisters.
I can't wait to tramp around Paris in them!

I had forgotten that Earth shoes are shaped so that your heels are lower than your toes. I just can't get used to walking this way. I would have to wear them exclusively to get used to it. The strap was way too long; looked gangly hanging off the side. I ordered white, which isn't a true white; it did not go with my white pants. So I had to return them.

Love this adorable shoe! It does take some getting used to, I would recommend a long break in period before being on your feet all day at work. My only complaint, I wish they had designed the mary jane strap a little wider. If fastened too tight, it can be a bit cutting. Otherwise very nice shoe in lovely soft leather.
