Rich looking, feeling boots -
These boots are very good looking, and quite comfortable. I have not worn them to work yet as the days are still too warm, but I'm looking forward to many days of use this winter. I'm very fussy about my footwear, due to back problems and surgeries, and wear only two brands of shoes. Ecco has the kind of comfort and quality that I want, plus good looks. The strap at the top of the boot makes these truly adjustable, which is good as I have slim legs. They are not form-fitting, but also don't bunch up on the tightest setting. Younger women would look good wearing these boots outside of their jeans (I think that would look funny on me at my "mature" age, but I still appreciate good style).

These boots are fantastic - I’m a hockey player with large muscular calves so most leather boots don't fit. I love and live in boots and I’m usually stuck buying the cheap synthetic stretch boots that don't last and stretch out. These are stylish, comfortable and they fit perfectly (the adjustable width is brilliant). They survived a long Canadian winter with very regular wear and they still look great - They have prompted me to buy two more pairs of Ecco boots which I also love.

I wear this boot all the time-- heel is just right height for me, and I can wear to work or with jeans.

Great boot, but too big -
I ordered this boot in a 5-5.5 (I usually wear a 5.5 or 6), and I was astonished to find that they were too big for my feet! Not only that, but the boots were much too wide for my skinny calves, even though the circumference is adjustable. I loved the look and feel of the espresso leather and was truly sad to find that I just couldn't keep them.

Espresso with a kick -
I searched for a fine quality espresso brown suede boot for weeks only to find boots that were too short in the leg. I’m almost 6ft tall, and far too expensive for what they were and heels that would kill my back. A friend suggested Zappos and after a bit of time searching...there were the boots of my dreams. So comfortable with an easy walking heel that actually looks good from behind.
Simple to order...came within two days and fit beautifully. Most importantly...the leg height is just right. I am a new fan of Zappos!

Bought this boot in every color option!
I recently bought this boot and loved it so much that I went and bought it in every color. So now I have 4 pairs of them! Very comfortable, with awesome adjustable buckle so you get a great fit around your calf. Heel height is nice, just right. I have very bad feet, ankles and these boots are a dream! They just look great under or over jeans! Highly recommend!

This boot is remarkably comfortable. I purchased a pair in black suede, and liked them so much, I bought a second pair in brown leather.

Comfy ECCO -
I had foot surgery in 2005 (both feet). I lost an entire wardrobe of shoes due to the change in my foot size. I am also diabetic and was told to wear only a good, comfortable shoe. A friend told me about ECCO shoes and boots and said that I could get the support and comfort needed while being stylish.
I will only wear ECCO boots from now on.

Adjustable Boot in Attractive Dark Brown Suede -
I bought these in the dark brown suede and I like them! I have fairly thin calves and have trouble finding boots that don't look like galoshes on me. These are adjustable with the buckle at the top and on the tightest setting they fit snug enough around my legs for skirts. Then I can loosen the buckle to wear over jeans and this prevents stretching out of the suede leather. The thin suede flap that provides the adjustment tucks neatly into the boot and doesn't show or bulge. Rounded toe is very comfortable as is the sturdy heel. Roomy ankle area. These aren't your form fitting boots, but still look good and are a very versatile boot in a gorgeous rich color. Found fit of 8.5 to be true to size. Thanks Zappos!

Comfortable and beautiful leather boot -
I ordered three pairs of boots from Zappos. I have a problem with fit due to larger calves. The Ecco Bremen Tall Boat was the most beautiful leather, the most stylish and very comfortable. These boots were the most expensive of the three pairs and you can see why when you look at the workmanship. As I have worn them, they have loosened up around the calf. I love them! The one area I would improve, however, would be a little more padding in the sole area.
I am very happy with my purchase.

Not for me.
I was unpleasantly surprised at the quality of these boots. The buckle detail at the top of the boot was vinyl and there was a strange seam on the outside of the inner boot which seemed like it should have been sewn, but was poorly cut and glued (?). I think it's worth the extra $ to pony up for a nicer pair because I keep boots for more than a season, sometimes many seasons. These won't cut it.

Ecco Bremen tall boot -
Very attractive boot, nice heel, but the flaps at the side to accommodate different size calves is very unattractive if you have normal to thin calves. To buckle it far enough so my calf wasn't swimming in it, I created a bulge of fabric that stuck out on the side of my calf. Couldn't make it smaller. Would have bought the boots except for this detail which made them not seem worth the money. Also next to no padding in the sole. However, I could put my orthotic insole into it and it was comfortable.

Excellent boot, wide calf -
This boot is extremely comfortable, has soft suede and a great look. Unfortunately for me the calf was too wide for an average 7.5 size. It doesn't bag so much as to leave a ½ to ¾ inch gap at my calf which counters the sexy sleek look I’m going for. Sad for me, great for athletic calves!
