Perfect!
These shoes were comfortable out of the box. I have worn them a lot, and no blisters or hot spots! I ordered a half size larger because I have a somewhat wide foot with a high instep, and to wear with thick socks for winter walking and running on pavement and trail. I tried a lot of different shoes and none were as comfortable.

Excellent for hiking -
I bought these shoes to wear hiking on trip to Arizona and they couldn't have been more perfect. I didn't have an opportunity to break them in, but there was no need. They were comfortable from the start!

Great fit, instant comfort -
This is my 2nd pair of Salomon Trail Runners. I loved the first pair, and this one's even better. Outstanding fit right out of the box, with no rubbing or stiffness. Cool and very lightweight.
