Great fit for me -
OK, this shoe was great right out of the box. I like the stiff ankle collar...it feels like it’s actually providing support.
Looks-wise, it's striking, but sorta on the ugly side.

Great trail shoe for the price -
They fit about a half size smaller that marked, but overall a comfortable shoe.

Good hiking shoe. Very comfortable. I have hard to fit, narrow heel, wide forefoot and high arch, but the shoe works well.

A tight fit -
A solid lightweight hiker, but not much breathing room. Very tight toe box and less arch support compared to other Montrail shoes I've worn. I haven't fully broken in the Namche yet, but I think the boots are too snug - feet feel 'hot' and I am having friction on my calf at the collar of the boot.

Bought this boot because I've always loved the Montrail Hardrock...(same sole). The ankle collar is really stiff. A little too stiff actually. Hope it will soften with age. Otherwise a good lightweight, supportive boot for dry weather. Great traction like the Hardrock.
