In my ongoing search for a good pair of ballroom dance shoes in a wide width, I decided to try a pair of these. Thank goodness for Zappos generous shipping policies or I would not be able to continue trying to find the right shoes. This shoe is really cute and out of the box, looks great. However, when I put them on, they gapped strangely outward on either side. They are very soft, so there is no real shape to the shoe and though they are extremely comfortable, the strange bulging outward makes them so unattractive on my feet, I am sending them back. I am not sure if the problem is that they are too narrow and they are just so soft, my foot can fit and push them out to the sides or what. I would be wearing them for dance lessons if it weren't for the gapping/bulging on the sides.

These shoes are wonderful! They run true to size and are very comfortable, even when breaking them in! I had so much fun swing dancing in them and I got so many compliments of the cute and unusual style of the shoe.

Great Dance Shoe!
Fantastic shoe!-I recently started taking dance lessons and needed a comfortable dance shoe-despite some unfavorable reviews, the shoe has nice cushioning, was very well constructed and there was no need to break them in and was reasonably priced! Also the sueded bottom helps with turning and allows you to glide without slipping-One last comment- it's nice to know these shoes are made right here in upstate New York!

I have to wear orthotic inserts. This shoe style fits my needs with style. Finally, a pair of shoes to wear with dresses. The heel is a bit narrow and takes getting used to. Wish it were a touch wider.

Dance Shoes -
I've been looking for comfortable, attractive, low-heeled dance shoes for quite a while. I think I've found them with theses shoes. I haven't yet danced in them, but they are comfortable around the house, and they fit the bill otherwise. I added a cushioned inner sole, which helped customize the fit and felt better under the ball of my foot.

Good dance shoe -
I just started dancing and didn't want to spend too much money on an all around dance shoe. This shoe turned out to be pretty cute and is comfortable.

These are my favourite shoes. I can’t wear 3 inch heels anymore, so these shoes are perfect. It's my second pair and when these are worn down, I will order them again. I take a size 7 and a half in latin shoes. With this shoe, I order an 8.

Watch out! Easy to twist your ankle in these shoes -
I never made it off my living room carpet with these shoes, so I don't know how they would perform on a dance floor. But I can say that as soon as I stood up in these shoes, I had a lot of heel pain. They are not cushioned inside. I got the wide width, but they were still too tight. The worst thing about them is that something about the way the heel is made; it is very easy to twist your ankle in these shoes.

Poor Quality; Fair to Good Design -
The Tic Tac Toe Grace dance shoes need more cushioning. Especially for dancing, which is done on hardwood, tile or concrete floors! The heel on the Grace is too narrow at the bottom. They make my feet wobbly, and I've almost fallen or turned my ankle several times while dancing in them. A dangerous design. The straps are too short to go over the instep, go through the buckle and have any strap left over at the end. It's also difficult to get the strap laced through the tiny opening in the buckle. Perhaps an elastic strap or a strap with elastic added could be considered. The shoe is attractive, and would be more so if the straps were a little narrower. The gold shoe is a little garish and I would love a softer gold. I would also like to see a soft hued silver shoe produced. I would also like to see this shoe done with a smooth leather sole for regular couple dancing, in addition to the suede one, which is okay for square dancing. Overall, I would rate the quality of this shoe as poor. The design is good, except for the heel, which, for safety's sake, should be corrected.

Very comfortable. I especially like the strap across to hold the foot firmly. I had a similar pair of shoes and was glad to find a replacement after so much dancing.

Finally found a shoe that works!
I have been looking for dance shoes for 10 months. This one came in a wide width and had a low heel - my two real requirements. I've used it for three weeks now - What a difference a real dance shoe makes! I wore the shoes around my office for two days to get used to them. They felt GREAT! At one point I forgot what shoes I was wearing and went outside in them - a real no-no for dance shoes. Next time I will probably order a half size larger. By evening when my feet and ankles swell, they are a little tight at the toes.
Other brands recommended by reviewer: The Tic Tac Toe brand will be my next choice as well

Great dancing shoe -
I bought this shoe for dancing Salsa. It's a great shoe, very comfortable - and it looks very elegant. The price is very reasonable too. I followed the advice of other reviewers and I bought a wide width but stayed with my normal shoe size and the fit is perfect. These shoes are not meant for wearing outside, but I like the look so much I might buy another pair and put a sole on the bottom for outside.

OUCH!
These shoes look good & feel really comfortable for the 1st hour & then it's downhill from there. I am working an 8 hr shift this evening & can already see the blisters! Arrrgg, can not wait to take them off!

Good shoe for those who have problem feet -
This shoe is not the finest shoe made but it is leather and it is fairly comfortable. The crossing straps are very complementary to your foot and make the shoe feel secure for dancing. I can't find a shoe that is glitzy and fun to wear that has the right heel height for my feet that get tired and sore very easily. Someone else said that the straps fray and mine do too but that doesn't bother me that much. I intend to trim the threads and try applying some clear nail polish to stop the fraying of the material used under the leather straps. This shoe is a nice compromise for someone like me with a narrow foot.

Initially I thought this shoe was a perfect fit. I have very wide, high arched, hard-to-fit size 7 feet. At my first 3 hour ballroom dance class the shoes (7W) performed beautifully; very comfortable, almost needing no breaking in. However, one hour into my second class, the shoes seemed stretched out and my arches began to ache. I am going to try them with inserts, but, for the money, I expected better, longer-lasting support.

Great Dance Shoe -
This style is just what I wanted for Salsa-round toe and Cuban heel. I did size up as suggested. For the price, the workmanship should have been better (fraying along the straps). Also I will have to add an insole to pad the front of the shoe for comfort.

What a difference a half size larger and wider makes -
I purchased two pair of your shoes, Grace. Pewter colored pair fit fine and looked good. Black pair, same size, was too tight and short, returned same. Ordered a replacement pair of black shoes, 1/2 size larger and in wide width. Replacement shoes arrived, were much too wide and large and straps had hairy threads up and down all sides. Obvious poor quality construction. Wore shoes to meet dance show commitment. Opinion of heel sole--not suitable for ballroom dancing, replaced same with suede as on sole of shoes. Your telephone order service and delivery process excellent.

Nice casual dance shoes -
These shoes are great. We dance swing almost every Sunday afternoon whenever we are not still out riding our ATVs. It is a very casual and very amateur social dance, but I'd been doing it long enough that I now wanted a shoe that gave me spin without making me off balance and traction without restraining my knees. They are feminine and comfortable, but did take some breaking in. The strap is a bit tricky to get tight, but once it is, it stays. It is a fully adjustable strap, not like a regular buckle. I get lots of compliments on them and seriously you can't beat the price.

Bridal/Dance Shoe!
I am really quite pleased with this shoe! I bought it to wear for my wedding because my groom and I are quite the dance enthusiasts. I bought them in white, and they fit true to size. They make your feet look nice and narrow, too, which is a plus!
Also, the heel is not too high, so if you don't want to be TOO tall on the wedding day, but you want a heel, this is the shoe for you!

 |  | My first experience with Zappos.com was during the winter a few years ago when I needed a pair of silver sandals to wear during the holidays. I saw Zappos.com advertised at the airport and thought to see what they were about. The rest is history. During that search for sandals I had as many as nine pairs here to try. They came the day after I ordered them via FedEx and those I didn't choose (I ended up with two pairs) I put back in the box, taped it shut, attached the prepared return label they had enclosed with the shipment, and dropped them off at the packaging store that same day. They were gone almost as easily as walking away from a pile of tried on rejects in the department store! Since then I use them more than 70% of the time when I am shoe shopping. There really isn't anything quite like trying on shoes with the clothes in my closet as well as trying for fit and comfort. It's an ideal way to buy shoes and I highly recommend it!
