I love Zappos, but these shoes are the worst Ive tried! The heel area is unreasonably wide, the toe box is cramped and narrow. If the top of your foot is narrower than your heel, these shoes are for you! Thank goodness Zappos accepts returns Ill have to try again. Thanks for standing behind your products, Zappos!

The dance shoes fit ordering my normal shoe size, and buying them wide made them comfortable the first time I wore them to dance class. Unfortunately, the next time we went dancing it was very hot so I chose to not wear nylon stockings and got terrible blisters from the shoes. I will not be able to wear the shoes again until the blisters heal. If I put something to cushion the heel area I think these shoes will be fine. I cannot say enough about the wonderful service this company provides. I deliberately order from Zappos verses other dance shoe companies because they are rare in that you do not have to pay postage coming or returning and reordering.

Great dance shoe - odd strapping -
Order 1/2 size larger. Love the sole and heel, other heels I've had couldn't be replaced. Solid feel to whole shoe. Straps don't lay flat, caused blister without stockings. Buckles hard to manage, but they stay secure. Overall great dance shoe.

Great dance shoe!
Love this shoe! It is a sexy little dance shoe that fits like a glove. It looks lovely on my wide foot. Slenderizing in fact. I found my regular size in a wide was perfect. I twirl with ease in this shoe and it is very comfortable as well. I'm pretty picky, so I actually tried several different styles and heels before I settled on this shoe. It is a keeper.

Great Shoes for Trousers -
I usually wear 1.5 inch heeled Capezios, but I needed a shoe with a slightly higher heel. This 1.75 inch heel is perfect for trousers and skirts without being too high. I am on my feet all day (usually 12 hours straight) and this heel is high enough to be business-like while still being comfortable. I walk a lot, so I had the shoes re-heeled with a hard rubber heel. I usually wear a 6.5B, but ordered a 7B.

My new shoes for dancing -
I've been very happy with these shoes. I purchased these shoes in order to prepare for taking swing dance lessons and they have not disappointed. I've now had two opportunities to wear these shoes: at my first lesson and at a dance. In both cases, the shoes were exactly as I'd hoped...supportive and helpful for the purpose. The only problem I've had is getting used to spending so much time on my feet dancing.

Fit -
For the price of these shoes, I expect better quality. The clasp is cheap and you feel like you will rip off the connector when unclasping the shoe. The heels are mis aligned. I bought this shoe because I have a narrow foot, and for that part it fits like a glove. But the toe box pinches my toenail and I am DYING after about 45 minutes of dancing. I wish I had not bought the shoe, but when walking around the house on the carpet, it seemed OK, however, ballroom dancing in it is just is painful. Now its too late to return as it is used.

Decent value -
Cute shoes, great heel height. I found that they DO need to be broken in, contrary to some reviews, as I got a nasty blister at the seam in the heel of the shoe. Other than that, very nice.

Wow!
Taking beginner ballroom dance classes, these shoes are worth the money compared to regular heels. All shoes for women should be like this: comfortable. Im more comfortable in these in dance class than I am just walking around in other heeled shoes.

 | | My first experience with Zappos.com was during the winter a few years ago when I needed a pair of silver sandals to wear during the holidays. I saw Zappos.com advertised at the airport and thought to see what they were about. The rest is history. During that search for sandals I had as many as nine pairs here to try. They came the day after I ordered them via FedEx and those I didn't choose (I ended up with two pairs) I put back in the box, taped it shut, attached the prepared return label they had enclosed with the shipment, and dropped them off at the packaging store that same day. They were gone almost as easily as walking away from a pile of tried on rejects in the department store! Since then I use them more than 70% of the time when I am shoe shopping. There really isn't anything quite like trying on shoes with the clothes in my closet as well as trying for fit and comfort. It's an ideal way to buy shoes and I highly recommend it! There isn't another web shopping site anywhere that makes it any easier! | | ~ Fran C, September 13 2009
