Very cool -
I really like this sandal, I am always barefoot so these work for me, I use them to practice all different dances, keep in mind there is not any fabric on the toes or heels, so if you are doing a lot of dancing on the ball of the foot these are great, if you need a little more coverage, try the Capezio Pedini.
One more thing...
I love Zappos, this has got to be the best shoe company I have ever shopped at, you guys are awesome.

Does what it's supposed to!
This is not for looks; this foot wear serves an important purpose for the foot. Protection, grip, and security. It allows all of the above with the freedom to move as if you were not wearing it at all. Ordered 1 size smaller to allow for stretching, but a snug fit. Last thing you want is foot wear that is loose and sloppy, and can cause an injury. Highly recommend after 40 years of dance experience. FC in NY

I'm a male so I went with the recommended half size smaller sandal. I learned from experience that you need to order at least 2 sizes smaller than your street shoe.

Can't believe it!!!
I do jazzercise on a foam floor- and actually liked it barefoot- but felt I could use some cushion on the balls of my feet. Thought I'd try these- and was actually doubtful that they'd do any good- but they do! I have more stability, agility- and got just that little bit of cushion where I needed it. Fast delivery! Great service! I LOVE ZAPPOS!!!!

Dance sandals -
I like these for practice at home or at the studio. Easy on/off. Help protect the balls of my feet and toes.

Cool "shoes"-
I bought these just to wear casually around the house so I wasn't looking for a dance rehearsal shoe.
I have a narrow foot, and followed the advice about buying 2 1/2 sizes smaller - and I think that they do fit pretty well. I find that the ball of my foot is sore from having landed on it for a longer period of time than I might have if I hadn't been wearing them at all. I think they slip a tiny bit. I am not a fan of thongs between the toes - but all things considered I do like the shoes.
They're unusual, look neat, and feel very freeing - I envy the people who can dance.
Its not that the shoes are supportive - they're not - but they give me confidence that the bottom of my foot is protected at least a little.

Works for me -
I followed the recommendation to get 2 sizes smaller than your street shoe size and that seems to be just fine. I have flat feet, so no shoe is very comfortable for me--it's not a reflection of these shoes. I mostly bought them to wear when I have to belly dance outside, so I don't hurt the balls of my feet when I have to do turns.

I think the sandal is great. Unfortunately mine is too tight. I followed your ordering instructions and still they are uncomfortable.

review of sandal -
They are fine except hard to wear if you have a wide toe area.

A Bellydance Must Have!!
Take the pain out of spins and turns! Pivots become a breeze (and my feet stopped cracking and bleeding after those 2-hour rehearsals). These same shoes are at Capezio Dance for over $27. I abuse my pair, running out to the car across pavement and hot black top when I forget stuff during shows, and they still feel/look/fit great. Teacher said most will stretch out, but mine haven't in 4 weeks. I tell all in MECDA this Lyric is a lifesaver.

 | | I just want to say that I love you guys! Your response time is incredible in every way. I have been ordering from you for many years and tell everyone I know to shop with you. I always get my shoes immediately upon ordering either the very next day or the day after that. Incredible!!! Returning items is easier than anywhere else. And when I screw up an order, you are right there immediately to help out. I'm a fan on Facebook and truly admire your company and even had my cat on your news feed sitting in HIS Zappos box. And I do mean HIS! Keep up the great work as you are an excellent company with excellent employees!
