Gave me blisters, but otherwise like them -
As far as support and the shape of the shoe, they are comfortable, but after an hour and a half of dancing, I had to put my sneakers back on, because I had angry blisters along the inside edge of the shoe on both sides (near the heel) and on the inside edge of one foot near the toe. Haven't tried wearing them again yet. Maybe I'll walk around the house in them with socks on to try to break them in. I usually wear an 8, but had to get 8.5, despite having narrow feet. They just run a little small generally. Great service from Zappos, though.
Other shoes recommended by reviewer: I want Zappos to carry Dance Naturals, but so far, no dice...

These are great dance shoes. They were my first dance shoes, and they have done very well for me. I have been dancing 6 days a week, for 5 months, and I am only now replacing them due to wear. I highly recommend. My feet tend to be wider than medium, but not a wide. I ordered these in a wide and they felt great. Medium felt way too narrow.

I love my shoes they are like walking on air. From the time I put them on. Excellent all over I danced all night. Thank you Zappos. This is not an outside shoe. It is for dancing only.

I ended up sending these shoes back... the cutout part felt like it was going to cut my big toe off, and there was no arch support.

Nice, but didn't like strap.
I bought these for dance lessons and found them to be fairly comfortable for this type of shoe. I needed a half size larger. I decided to return them due to the instep strap pinching my inner ankle. It wasn't that bad and might have gone away after reasonable break-in time. However, I decided to go with the Freed 6617 L, which I felt was more comfy. Zappos has easy returns so I wasn't hesitant to try them though.

I bought these shoes for street wear. They have a soft, thin sole so I'll probably have to put something on the sole to make them more durable since they are a true dance shoe.

Great dancing shoe!
This is a great shoe for dancing. It fits very snug, and gives good support. It's actually more comfortable then a lot of my flat shoes. My only minor complaint is it took about 3 times to wear it to break in the area around my toes. At first it pinched a little, but now feels fine. If you're in between sizes I'd definitely order the larger size. P.S. Zappos is great!

Amazing dancing shoes!!!
I’ve got these shoes in Silver and I feel like a princess at the ball! Leather is very soft; sock lining is all suede... very nice! I was able to dance in these shoes the next day after I got them without breaking them in. The only one thing I had to do is cut the straps (they are way too long.) My dance teacher was very pleased with my choice... he said it’s the style he'd recommend. Great look and comfort.

This is my third pair of this style of Capezios. I have found some to fit my regular shoe size and others I needed to go up a size. This last purchase I had to go up a size and add a left to my left shoe. I have a pair in silver that fit perfectly in my regular shoe size. Customer service is outstanding. I wish Capezio would add a lighter tan or a gold in this style

Knock-out sandals-
Love the shoe. Ordered to go with a green dress, they’re perfect. My feet are very narrow however and I had to have a cobbler make the straps smaller, worked and am very happy with result. Even with the $20 cobbler fee, the price was very reasonable for the product. They are adorable and comfortable. What more can a girl ask for?

I recently purchased these shoes for ballroom dancing and I absolutely love them. I found the fit to be true and I am amazed at the comfort. The padding is really a plus that you would not find in a typical heel. Best of all, they look fabulous when I'm on the dance floor.

Beautiful shoe - but not for long -
Excellent shoes, both look and comfort, but with one big problem: the silver colour scruffs severely. I have worn my pair twice, and they are full of scrathces that I suspect will be nearly impossible to remove. But, as I said: they look beautiful on the foot and are more comfortable than any high heeled shoe I have ever worn. They feel stable and have good padding. I wore these for a school dance, and could dance in them for a long time without any problems. Buy the wide size if you don't have very narrow feet.

Dancing made easy -
I ordered a pair of these shoes for my salsa lessons and I love them! I had previously purchased 2 pair from other stores and was never happy with them (fit or look). These work perfectly! They are very comfortable and the heel is the right height for me.

Great dance shoe!
This is my second pair of Capezio dance shoes. I have found this to be the best brand so far to accommodate my wide foot. I wore them a couple of times around the house before venturing out on the dance floor. I found them to be stylish and comfortable. I've been very pleased with my purchase. The finish on the stitching is the only thing I think is a little less than the best quality.
Other shoes recommended by reviewer: I'd also recommend the Capezio Student Footlight.

My husband and I have been taking ballroom dancing and I recently purchased these Capezio shoes. I ordered a half size larger (I usually wear a 7 1/2) but ordered size 8. They fit perfectly and now my dancing has improved!

Nice look, but not that comfortable -
The leather is pretty stiff and will cause blisters. Keep bandages close by. After returning a 7 regular I bought the 7.5 wide, and it is just as tight. I hope it feels better once it is worn in.

Excellent dance shoe -
Took my chances when ordering my first pair of exclusive dance shoes to use in my salsa classes. Turned out, I prefer these shoes for the dance lessons and use a flatter shoe for the heavier practice. I don't ordinarily wear heels this high. The look of these shoes is fantastic, very sexy. It is a suede bottom shoe designed for indoor only use. I can get through a 90 minute dance instruction in these but half way through the balls of my feet start to ache. I have nothing to compare it to since this is my first pair. Overall it's a great performing and great looking shoe. And it seems built to last. Zappos makes it east with the free shipping both ways.

The most comfortable heel shoe!
I teach school, therefore I stand 6 hours a day and I love heels (since I'm short). If dancers can wear these and not be crippled I figured I better try a pair. First day on my feet, I wore them 10 hours straight- no pain, in fact pure comfort. So all you dancers, this is no more a hidden secret of yours! They do run a bit narrow, I also bought "W" and they fit perfect!

My experience is that Capezio runs small, (I take a full size larger in character shoes), so I got a size 7 and it fit perfectly. My only complaint is that the leather is a bit hard... for such an expensive shoe it would be nice to have a softer, more refined leather. But I've danced in them for 4-5 hours straight without a hitch or a blister, and they performed beautifully!

Capezio Latin T-Strap-Great Shoe!
This is a very stable and comfortable dance shoe. Its sole moves and turns marvelously on the dance floor. But beware, Capezio shoes run very small. I don't think you would go wrong to order a full size larger than your street shoe size. Happy dancing

Awesome shoe!!! Best dance shoe ever! I got a W because I wanted more room, and it fits great and is really comfortable. I wore it and danced in a Milonga for 5 hours and didn't feel like I was in heels or in a 'dance shoe' since most of them are uncomfortable.
