They're the best. My only problem is that, so far, I haven't been able to find a Tele Tone heel tap. You don't have a good user-friendly sizing set-up. It would sure help if you could install one.

How to apply teletone taps -
In response to a previous inquiry - the answer to fixing teletone taps is to use small screws (of the correct length so that they don't pierce the inside of the shoe) instead of the fixings that come with the taps. These are easily available from a hardware store. If they come loose with use I find that a small amount of adhesive dropped into the screw hole fixes them more permanently.

I had difficulty applying the black pad with the nails to my shoes. There isn't a shoemaker in my area to assist. Is there some secret to doing this?

Tele Tone Toe Taps -
At age 50, I've never had any experience with tap-dancing, so I know very little. The taps look like everyone else's and they sound good. They aren't as heavy as I expected.

 | | I want you to know how pleased I am that my dad received his shoes so quickly! He got them today. I am amazed! He is a patient at the VA hospital in Denver. He is a WWll combat veteran who lost his leg after stepping on a land mine. Recently, he was taken to the VA hospital because no one at his present home could care for him. He was sick, malnourished, and to add insult to injury, could not use his prosthetic leg because it caused a sore on his amputated stump. To shorten a long story, he had no shoes with him with which to begin learning to use his new prosthesis. I ordered them Saturday as soon as I hung up talking with him and he received them today. Now he can begin the long journey to regain his stride and health. He will be returning to the east coast of Virginia to be with family. My sincerest thanks for helping my dad recover and come home to me. Barbara I. | | ~ Barbara I., September 29 2009
