I had a pair of the same shoe in the hi-top or ankle version, so I wanted to try the low cut for the summer. I haven't had the shoe long enough to really "figure" it out. Initially it is not as comfortable as its high top alternative.
I have lousy feet (bunions) and any time I find a brand that works for me I stick with it. Hi-Tec has done that in the past.

 |  | I am a network architecture consultant for a leading research and analysis company. I do a lot of online shopping, and I've seen a countless number of retail web sites. Whenever I need to tell an etailer how I compare their web site, I always use Zappos as my reference web site as The Standard. And, I use Zappos as the standard that all etailers should strive to be at the same level. None are even close, and I sincerely mean that. I haven't purchased a pair of shoes from anyplace other than Zappos.
