Great walking/hiking shoes!
I am very particular about walking and hiking shoes as I do a fair amount of each and often walk ten miles or more at a time. These shoes have great support, stay comfortable, and have worn in enough to wear on long walks in a couple of weeks. I have worn them in the rain, the mud and even in icy conditions, and they have kept my feet dry and comfortable, and seem to do pretty well in slippery conditions as well. I ordered mine a half size big to accommodate thick hiking socks. I think these shoes are great and am very happy to have found them.

Contours vs. Morgan Asolo’s -
Both shoes feel true to size and width but the Contours have excellent arch support and the Morgan’s lack arch support. The Morgan is advertised as an urban walker, hope it works, it looks much better than the Contour for city walking. Too bad the Contour does not come in a more attractive color and keep the arch support internally.

The look of the shoe is great in my opinion, but I've had these now a couple of months and they are still very stiff. I had to get gel inserts because the heel and sole feel hard on my foot.

Roomy and Stiff -
I found these shoes to be about a half size too big is some areas of the shoe, but a lower size crowded my toes. Therefore with the larger size my foot slides around in the shoe and reduces stability. This shoe has a hiking sole, meaning it has a hard rubber sole and PU midsole. This makes for a hard ride and a bit of a sore foot when walking on pavement. Overall, I not happy with this shoe, it is a Frankenstein between a hiking boot and trail runner. I suggest the Salomon XA Pro 3D XCR Trail Running shoe. Same price, much better shoe.

Very Good Shoe -
This is a very good shoe, and I will buy it again. It felt about ½ a size short, but for some reason all these types of shoes run a bit short, and this one was not as short as some others. Width seems true to size. The sole seems harder than most, thus, I expect it will last a bit longer. Because of the harder sole, I hope it won't be more slippery on wet rocks. I haven't tried wet rocks yet, but I think it will be OK. Comfort is great. It conforms well to feet over time. I haven't tried it yet in the rain. I prefer a more plain design.

Asolo makes the finest shoes for those who have ever had "foot issues" such as plantar fasciitis. And ... for everyone else, they are an incredibly good looking, exceptionally well made and comfortable shoe.
