This bag has many good points and only a few drawbacks. It\'s light, easy to organize, and easy to carry even weighed down with books, a laptop, the works. I do wish I had gotten the Commuter model with the top handle. This bag is a bit hard to hold onto on mass transit with no handle. The only poor feature is the red key leash in the front pocket. Nice thought, but it got hopelessly tangled in the zipper teeth the first day I used it. I had to tear it out of the teeth to open the pocket and eventually just cut it off. Overall a bit pricey, wish I\'d chosen the other model, but this bag will serve its purpose well regardless.

Awesome, indestructible bag - fits great when riding a bike. Lots of good sized storage pockets as well. Awesome investment for somebody who moves about a lot! Also, Zappos gave me free overnight shipping which made it even better!

You can fit everything including the kitchen sink! I bike 30 miles a day with it and have no problems at all. Great bag!

I bought this bag since my day pack I was using for biking to and from work was really too small to fit my change of clothes AND adding a towel and anything else I need for work. This has the same space as a duffel bag but you can easily throw it on your back and bike away.

If you need a huge carrying capacity, this bag is perfect -
... in fact it's so large that unless it's full of stuff, it will literally curve around your back creasing in the middle. However, if you can use that room and want to keep your stuff dry, this bag is probably for you. Well made product, ideal for cycling.
Other brands recommended by reviewer: The same thing in other sizes.

Zappos is unreal! I needed to exchange my Timbuk2 metro bag for a bigger one and the customer service I got to make this happen was the best I have ever had! No automated phone prompts, just a real person helping me out throughout the exchange. I ordered the new bag on Friday and it was at my door Monday morning and all Zappos needed was for me to re-send the bag (for free) within two weeks. The bag itself is perfect for students or people who live in the city who rely on having everything they'll need for the day. It's big enough to keep shoes, books, a six pack, and still have room to put all your little stuff! I would definitely recommend this bag and can't wait to order something from Zappos again!

There's a reason why so many people buy Timbuk2 bags -
After struggling with a very stylish, but impractical bag for school, I broke down and bought this bag. I was stubborn for much too long, and am very glad I finally came to my senses. I'd recommend this size for a full-time student that has to carry a lot of books (my sister used the same size bag for pre-med and medical school), or for people who work full-time and attend school part-time like me to have one bag to carry everything. I'm sure I'll get plenty of additional use out of it as a weekend bag or carry-on.
I bought the bag during a free overnight shipping promotion, and it arrived on time as promised. There can't be another online retailer that can compete with Zappos service and reliability.
