Exactly the shoe I would expect from New Balance. I have worn NB for coaching football for 3 years now and this is the best model by far. Great traction and comfortable fit.

Great shoe for baseball coaches -
My husband is a baseball coach and these are the only shoes he wears. He stands for 8-10 hours every day and while they don't last as long as I think they should, he finds them comfortable. He wears a 13 in running shoes and a 14 in this shoe. It's nice that they come in assorted colors. Wish that Zappos carried more in his size!

NB MB805 -
I bought these shoes for coaching football. These shoes not only look the part of coach, but they are very functional to the task as well. I wanted a pair of shoes that I could have traction for demonstrating blocking technique etc., but without the discomfort of actual cleats. These shoes have delivered the comfort that every other model of New Balance I have ever bought, right from the box.

Best shoes I've ever worn -
I wish I could wear these to work, but sadly only for softball and coaching. The shoe offers excellent support, they are light, and much more forgiving than cleats. I should have bought them years ago. The price was also much lower on Zappos than on other sites or at the retailers.

Depending on the brand of shoe, I'm either a 2E or a 4E. With most New Balance styles, the 2E is usually perfect. However, with these shoes the EE are way too narrow. I couldn't even fit my foot into the shoe. So if you're in between widths, go with the 4E. Also, the insoles are very thin, so a store bought insole may be needed for support.

I use this shoe for every day as a urologist (no, it's not waterproof), but it has great traction! I wish it came in yellow.

I coach a lot of fast pitch softball and prefer to wear a trainer shoe that can hold up to the infield dirt/mud involved in preparing the fields. I had used Mizuno Wave trainers for several years due to their comfort. With the change in the above shoes which I did not like I decided to try something new. These NB MB805's are as comfortable as the original Mizuno's, which means very comfortable and the NB's look even better. A very nice looking shoe and very well made. The extra width's was what took them over the top for me.

They're really stiff, and need a serious breaking-in period. But they are solidly built, and might last until the next apocalypse.

"Perfection at its best" -
Without a doubt the best turf shoe I have ever worn, the shoe does wonders for the infield and the outfield of a softball field. I couldn’t imagine wearing anything else now that I’ve owned a pair of these. Careful, they tend to run a 1/2 size too big.

I'm a Santa. I'm always looking for something RED. I stumbled across this shoe and had to order it. And, IT COMES IN WIDE SIZES!!! It fits well and is comfortable and I love the look. I know of several other Santas who have ordered this shoe. Keep the RED items coming in WIDE sizes ... as we Santas tend to be large and jolly.

It's so hard to find shoes to fit my 4E foot, but these fit great, are really comfy, and are great for sports.
I use them on Turf and on Grass. NO slipping and they look awesome, too.

Back in red -
Wow, these 805s are incredible - they are turf shoes, but I don't go anywhere near turf - trust and believe that they work fine on any surface. I used to wear red sneaks all of the time - I wore 10 ½ EE to EEE. In 1985 I was in an accident and due to the way I walk now I wear a 12 EEEE or EEEEE. I had to do without my trademark reds for 22 years - now New Balance has the 805 and I am back in business. I wear a 9 to 12mm heel lift in the right shoe and full orthotics in both shoes and the 805 still fits like a glove and is so light and comfortable that I don't even know I am wearing them. Get a pair of these in whatever color - you won't be disappointed.

Great turf shoe!
I bought these turf shoes for my boyfriend. He plays a lot of softball and always switches back to his tennis shoes right after each game. Since I got him these he wears them to the field and after games too! He absolutely loves them and gets a lot of complements on them from team members. Definitely a great buy! Shoe is good, only problem is the turf part of the shoe does not provide as much traction as other turf shoes I've worn. Other than that they are great and are really comfortable.

What a shoe –
When you wear a 14 EEE you need a shoe that offers everything. This shoe does and most importantly gives a slimming look. Bottom line this is a great shoe.
