I love my Nunn Bush Squall. The shoe is more than I expected. This style is "sharp" as well as rugged. I want another pair because this shoe fit my foot as nothing has before. I appreciated your prompt attention when I had to return them for another size. I do hope that soon you will have the same shoe in another color. Thank you!

I ordered these shoes for my husband who has been wearing his original pair for many years. He loves these because they have great support and he is on his feet during the day a lot. I also want to say how happy I am to have found Zappos.com. I heard about your company on the news about a year ago and have been ordering ever since. I just recently received a reminder that it had been a year since I had ordered my New Balance shoes. What a great service. I tell everyone I meet about how easy it is to order with your company. Please keep up the good work.

Disappointed -
The slip in insole was too thick, thus making the heel portion of the shoe too low. The end result, my foot slipped out of the shoe.

Great quality but heavy weight -
I have had these shoes for exactly one year. The quality is superb. This is why I picked the Nunn Bush brand. However, I am here on the Zappos website shopping for replacement shoes. These Nunn Bush Squall's weigh too much for my liking. This is a very heavy-duty shoe for a casual shoe. The sole is too rigid for my liking (casual shoes should have less rigid soles). The laces refuse to stay tied. I often must stop to re-tie my shoes when walking a lot (such as out shopping in the mall).
Do not misunderstand. The shoe is extremely comfortable. From the first day and thereafter, the shoe fit without any pinching or sore spots. If you want a secure feeling (heavy duty) shoe, this is your shoe. But for me, I learned to dislike that heavy-duty feel and want something lighter in weight and more thin and flexible sole. Again, the quality of the Nunn Bush Squall has been outstanding in the past year of owning these.
