Snorkeler -
These shoes are absolutely no good in sand. The sand stays in the shoe and makes the buckle inoperable.

I already had a pair of these shoes and since I use them every day for long walks and hiking in the mountains, I decided to get another pair just in case they ever stop making them. I can walk/run forever in these without having any problems. I have neuromas in both feet and the pain is horrible. I can make it okay for about a mile in other shoes, but then the pain begins! These are the only shoes that make it possible to do long distances.

Wraptor vs Toachi both by Teva -
I have both, and like both, but feel that the Toachi is more comfortable. I love the fit and the ability to wear them at the beach, in and out of the water, kayaking, hiking, everywhere! My conservative boyfriend thinks they look unattractive, but I don't care! They are FUN and COMFORTABLE. The holes do not bother me in the least, so I don't understand that comment from others who review this shoe. No problem!

Happy, Happy, Happy!!
First saw the Wraptor in our dive magazine then in the Outside magazine. Went on-line to Zappos & found them - spoke to a customer service rep that knew Teva & ordered two pair (not knowing how they would fit) LOVE THEM. The drainage holes get a little bit of getting used to but the support and comfort is wonderful. I white water raft often & these are perfect for support and toe protection. I wear a 6.5 & don't think they make my foot look large at all. Thinking about getting another pair. I wear them off & on the water - THANX!

Wraptor sandals get worse every year!
I got a pair the first year they made Wraptor sandals and wore them all year: barefoot with custom-orthotics in summer, and then with thick or fleece socks and orthotics in winter. Great support and great ability to adjust all points of the sandal. These were the first Tevas that ever really fit me. The next year, they had funky fit, way off size, very uncomfortable, felt like a cheap knock-off, and at that price, not worth it. Sent them back. Tried the following year, the fit was better but still "off" and they were becoming less adjustable. I gave in again after several months of wondering, and ordered this year's design. What doesn't show in the picture is there's an elastic "sleeve" under the front and toe straps, so the ability to truly adjust the shoe is gone. Harder to get in and out of, won't fit a thick winter sock and not worth the price. I sent them right back and won't try Wraptor sandals again. Unfortunately, my original pair finally had to be thrown out last week. I had worn totally through the rear ankle padding down to the plastic core and got my first ever blister. It was a sad day I put them in the trash. Last winter I bought Wraptor Gore-Tex shoes, love them. Curious to see if they make them again and the same or if they'll start to ruin that design, too? Bye-bye Wraptors...

Great water sandal/shoe -
These are great for boating and other water sports! The water just flows right through the soles. I would recommend these sandal/shoes to anyone who likes to get their feet wet and be able to have a stable pair of shoes on without having to take them off to dump the water out.

Just too much going on -
I loved the way the shoe looked online and in a store display, but once they were on my feet, they looked clunky and busy and made my foot look much larger than usual. Although the footbed was wide enough to support my M width foot, the strap that comes over the top of the foot was very tight. Between the straps and the buckles and the two-tone color and the open/closed areas, the design is way too busy and you wind up with a mess on your foot.

Want to like them, but...
I love the look of these (the sunshine is so cute and yellow is hard to find in a sport sandal), but these are not comfortable! I tried them on and walked around on towels so I wouldn't ruin the shoe. In five minutes I had the start of a blister on the ball of my foot! The drainage holes in the bottom of the shoe are painful - it actually felt like there was something poking out of the footbed. Oh well....

Awesome -
This shoe is fabulous! The first time I walked in it, I couldn't believe how great the support was. I've had a back and neck injury, and I felt no impact when my foot hit the ground. I had to immediately order another color because I think I'll be wearing these a lot, even to run errands on the weekends, etc. I did go hiking in it for about a 2-hr easy to moderate hike, and did get a blister on my back ankle. But that could just be me. Love them.

Wraptor Rapture -
I love this sandal. Bought it to wear to Kauai, but find I'm also wearing it in Kansas a lot. It is ultra-comfortable, supportive, protective, and it looks great!

OUCH!
I love Teva shoes, and wanted so badly to love this pair too. However, the heel cup and arch support create pain and calluses. In addition, the drainage holes under the arch actually made my foot itch non-stop. Just bad all-over!!

Tragically bad color combo -
This color combo made my average-sized feet look gigantic! All you can see is shoe. Massive shoe. Really too bad because they felt like clouds on my feet, but I just couldn't get past how massive they made me look. If you don't care about that then I recommend these, but if you have a moderate sense of fashion don't bother. If only they came in black...

Karnali Wrapto -
Seemed like it would be a great shoe--good concept, however, I could feel some irritation to the ball of my foot where the drain holes were and got a blister on my heel quickly. I am going to stick with my Chacos--I can hike for miles over any terrain with support and never a blister.

 | | I just want to let you know how happy Thank you soooo much. I love my new shoes that I purchased through Zappos.com. I have ordered several more pair since then and all my friends are asking where I bought them. Not only am I singing your praises, but I am sending my friends your website link. The gentleman who was the service representative on this particular order was magnificent! He was so kind and helpful an expert and a professional in every imaginable way. If there is a way that you can thank him for me (sorry, I didn't get his name)... please tell him that I am very grateful for his help and that he did, indeed, save my vacation. Bravo.
