I've been craving slippers like these for some time. And these are beautiful, warm and soft. My only problem with them is I thought they fit well when I first put them on. But the longer I wore them, the more I realized that the fit is a little off. The toes are a little tight while the heel is a little loose.

I live in Vermont and always have cold feet come winter. These slippers are the best! They keep my feet toasty warm and are oh so comfy to wear. I wear a size 6.5 and the size 7 slippers fits perfectly. Love the inside, love the sole, love the fit, love the warmth. Will never wear another slipper!

Old Friend is indeed an Old Friend. The old saying, 'If it ain't broke, don't fix it' applies to my situation. My husband bought me a pair of these slippers about 2 years ago and I loved them. I wore them so much that I wore them out. I've been wearing backup slippers for awhile now, ones that I purchased in an attempt to find something warm and cozy prior to the slippers purchased by my husband. I decided it was time to order new slippers, and I became enticed by other brands and styles. After buying a cheaply made pair from another company and sending those back, I bought a different style from yet another company, and ended up sending those back, too. All the while, my Old Friend booties kept popping up in the search, beckoning me to come home to comfort and stop having a grass is greener attitude about my slippers. I realized my silliness, so last night I ordered my Old Friend booties, exactly the same as I had a few years back. They arrived today (so quickly!) and my feet are at once happy again. The fit is perfect. The sheepskin is soft and pluffy (one of my favorite words). My feet are in heaven. I'm cursed with tons of foot problems, including bunions, arthritis, and a degenerative foot condition that leaves me with little padding. So, my slippers and all my footwear have to do double duty. My new Old Friend booties are just what the doctor ordered. I will never stray again. I almost want to buy a backup pair to keep on hand. I'm a size 9.5/10, and I ordered a 10 which fit perfectly. They are snuggly without being too tight, yet they provide adequate support with the sheepskin insert inside the booties. I don't remember having a removable sheepskin insert in my previous pair, but I'm glad that I do because it's washable and replaceable. Best of all, the bottom of the shoe is a hard, non-skid sole, which is exactly what I need because we have hardwood floors all throughout our house. Walking on them without any padding is a nightmare for me. If you're looking for comfort, softness, warmth, and quality, these Old Friend booties are exactly what you need.

I love these slippers. They combine sturdiness and plushness and are very warm. Had to go a size larger than expected, but Zappos return policy was smooth going.

These slippers have very comfortable fleece. My last slippers are Ugg and these are much softer. One boot felt bigger than the other, so I do need to swap them. After the extra wide extra thick tread of Ugg, this bottom feels a little thin.

I really like these slippers. They replace a worn-out pair of UGGS that I loved. Thee Old Friends are quite comfortable, but I would suggest to prospective buyers that they buy a size larger if they are at all over the even sizes offered. They seem to run small, especially for folks with wide feet. \r\nThey are very well made and cozy.

Most Comfortable, Longest-Lasting Slipper ever!
I LOVE these slippers! I have worn them through snow and hiked over mountains in these things. (Not on purpose, at first...long story!) They seem indestructible. The stitching where the sole attaches to the shoe itself is strong and durable. I have had these slippers for over 4 years and I wear them every single day. You won't go wrong with these!

This shoe is very comfortable with plenty of room in the toe box while still looking attractive. The little strap does wonders for keeping the heel from slipping! The shoe/foot specialist I saw last week sells the same shoe (at a higher price) and told me that the heel is solid and won't wear down like hollow heels do. I'm very pleased with these shoes so far!

Ahhh! Comfort and warmth -
I tried 5 pairs of 'warm' slippers and this one rates 5 star (and thanks to Zappos, I had them in time for a 3-day power outage from an ice storm). Very comfortable, easy to get on, very warm but no sweaty feet. What more can you ask for? As usual, excellent service from Zappos.

Very comfortable. I wear it to and from work. And to shovel/scrape snow off the driveway and my car. And on errands. Warm enough for me (and I come from a tropical country). It may become loose but it's still fine for what I'm using them for.

I wear them all the time!
I love these cozy little booties. They are soft and warm, yet have a very supportive foot bed. They come up higher on the ankle, so I am enjoying them on cold winter nights. I can't wait to get home from work to wear them - I almost took them to work with me today.

I love this slipper -
Very happy with this slipper. More than I imaged. Very warm and comfortable. Great sole if you need to go outside. I will definitely buy another pair when these wear out.

Excellent - The Best Bootie/Slipper Ever!!!
Just as good, if not better, than Uggs!! Size was perfect; look is really great and comfort - unbelievable!! I highly recommend this footwear and will be ordering more for my daughters and friends - the price is so reasonable. As usual, Zappos service was exceptional. When I order anything online, I always check Zappos to see if they have it.

These are very warm and comfortable. They are a little big and maybe I should have tried the size below my half size instead of the size above. They are perfect if I wear socks with them.

Very disappointing -
I've worn sheepskin slippers for years and know about how they feel tight at first then form to your foot quickly. I wear a 10W so ordered a 10. Super-fast delivery (Zappos is great). Quality looked awesome. When I slipped them on they seemed everything I expected...until I took a step. Although the inside fit was fine, the heel was so loose my heel slipped out a bit. And the bulky foam/sheepskin arch support caused my foot to roll to the outside. Since I need arch support I thought it would be okay eventually as it conformed. But as I walked (awkwardly) around the house, I soon discovered the side seam on the left bootie was very stiff and bulky and pressed on my foot through the fleece. The right was a bit better. With the loose heels my foot was constantly being rubbed against the seam. The soles were also much stiffer than expected and contributed to the loose-heel sloppiness. After a few hours I had arch pain in both feet and irritated skin on the side of my left foot. They might have fit better after a few days, but I could not tolerate the rubbing of the bulky seam and knew that would only get worse over time. Very disappointed - I had to return them. Will look for a different style and brand.

I have worn fleece lined sheepskin bootie style slippers for years and loved them. When it came time to replace the old ones I decided to try Zappos first and discovered these. This is my first pair with a rubber sole and I really like that feature. They are safer and I think they will wear better. I always got holes in the bottom of the others eventually. I am very happy with my new warm slippers. I now have nice toasty toes again. I will always check Zappos first for anything I need. They are the greatest.

Warm Feet!
My feet are often cold in the winter so they've been great for warmth. The only problem is the inside sheepskin liner/sole seems to get bunched up in the right shoe. I've tried to straighten it out but it just won't lay flat. This started after I wore them for a little over a week.

Best slipper I ever bought -
I ordered the "Old Friend's Bootee" on a Wed. night and they were at my door by Thurs. Morning. I put them on and they were snug but after wearing them around the house the fleece molded around my foot and they are like walking on pillows with support. I love them and this company!!!!

The color is a little darker than as shown in picture. They fit true to size and I find them to be VERY warm if worn with a pair of socks. I have not worn them outside much but they are perfect for around the house.

I am a size 9.5 or 10 with a narrow foot. These size 10 slippers felt snug in the toes (length) and fine in the width when I first put them on, but after about 10 minutes of wearing them I could tell that they would be stretching such that my heel would be sliding up and down and my ankles would not be swaddled in the shearling the way I had hoped. Regrettably I will be returning these - I'm disappointed since they seemed so promising. Zappos service is unbelievably great, though: I ordered these @ 8:30 pm and UPS had them at my door @ 10 am the following morning. Don't you Zappos guys ever sleep?!?!??!

I get this bootie every 2 years at Christmas, the best present I could get. I wear it almost 365 days of the year. Love em. (Will feel snug--loosens in a few days. Do not order larger, they will get too loose.) Zappos was fabulous!!! Excellent customer service ever! Buy from them first!

Cute and Comfy! I've decided to retire my Uggs, but I wanted replacement shoes that were just as warm and comfortable. These are just as soft and warm as Uggs, probably a little more durable, and even a little bit cuter. I wouldn't wear them anywhere except at home, but they would be good to wear to go and get milk or something. I wear a size 6.5, so I ordered at 6 but they were too small and my toes were pinched. I exchanged for size 7 and they are a lot better. Still there is not enough toe room as I would like but I know the shoe will stretch out. So far, they're great! The price is right too.
