Beautiful jacket.
I ordered this jacket last week in cargo green and it's great. I had to purchase another North Face because the arctic parka I bought a few months back got ruined after I washed it. It is a little short, but I expected it to be shorter because of what I read on other reviews. I'm about 5'4" and I feel good in it so far and it's way cheaper then the arctic parka. Very very cute and well worth every penny because the fur is detachable, another advantage that my other coat didn't have.

Awesome Jacket -
I LOVE this jacket. Have it in Chocolate. Matches perfectly with my new Ugg chocolate classic boots... The jacket is VERY warm, and comfortable. My only gripe is that the point of the collar pokes me in the neck when zipped up all the way. I thought it was just mine, but found the same on a friends. Not worth passing this jacket up for it... If it weren’t for that I would have rated these 5 stars...

Warmth and beauty all in one!
This jacket met with my daughter's approval on Christmas day. :) Her California winter jacket just wasn't going to cut it in Wisconsin where she is attending college. I chose Black in a size large though a medium would work just as well IF she weren't going to be wearing scarves or sweaters underneath while trudging through the snow and wind on the way to classes. She loves the jacket, and I know you would too.
Other shoes recommended by reviewer: Uggs all leather boots with sheepskin lining. They are snow and weather resistant and will not be harmed by the elements.

Honestly, this jacket is WAY too short. It doesn't make sense to wear a cropped little DOWN jacket. If you are getting a down jacket you probably want to be warm, and this jacket is SHORT. Half of my back was all exposed because it's so short and it grabs your shirt and kind of pulls it up too so your skin shows! I am only 110 and 5'2"!!! This jacket went back. I am looking for a longer down jacket that covers my stomach and back a little better and does not ride up and make me look like a marshmallow. Not only is it short, but it's quite puffy too.

DISAPPOINTING -
I was so excited to get this jacket but I didn't even wear it for 1 minute before I knew I hated it and it was going back. I see a lot of girls wearing these little cropped jackets these days and that is exactly what this is. I wear an XS in everything, including this jacket, but it is SO SHORT!!! I actually ordered both the XS AND the small, just to be sure, but the cut is just really short. I am only 5'2" and this jacket would have been SO drafty outside. It is SHORT. On me it sat right on my waist and today I happened to be wearing a belt and this jacket kept wanting to go above my belt and it kept pulling my sweater right up with it exposing half of my back!!!
I am all about style, but it has to make sense, be functional, and perform all at the same time. A beautiful jacket that lets cold air up my shirt when it's in the single digits when I am wearing a jacket to stay warm just does not make any sense.
Also, this jacket was definitely one of those puffy marshmallow jackets in person. If you want to stay warm and not look huge, this jacket is not for you. I am sure the jacket itself is warm, but it is so short that it would defeat the purpose. I am very petite and it would not stay down.

I shopped around, tried to find cheaper, but this was competitively priced. Great jacket fits true to size, very well made, love it.

Love my coat -
When I first saw this coat I thought it was a little expensive. I placed the order it was here at my door the next day by 10 am this coat is very warm snug and cant go warm with it for of course its north face so if you see and like it go for it its a great coat.

Everything I expected -
To my surprise, it came the day after I ordered it. The body fits well, not too snug (so that I can layer clothing underneath) & not too loose. The elastic cuffs are thick & reinforced well. It is definitely warm but also lightweight & waterproof (they don't mention that). It looks exactly like it does in the picture & the "fur" on the hood has brown flecks in it. SO CUTE!

I love my jacket!!!
Recently my jacket was put through the test when our weather reached a very chilly -25 F for almost 2 weeks. It kept me very warm and the weather certainly didn't keep me indoors!
