Great indoor all around!!!
I spent hours looking for the ideal indoor athletic shoe. I went through several websites and most of them didn't have much of a selection. Zappos has a nice selection of indoor- even though most of them are for soccer. I am using them for competitive table tennis and think they'll work great. In my opinion, I think these will work better then any table tennis shoe. Finding everything I need in one shoe is tough, but I think this shoe covers most of them. First and most important for any indoor shoe is the gum rubber sole. A lot of the Adidas and all of the Pumas look great, but only have non marking soles, not gum rubber. Go to your local athletic store and try both on. The difference is significant! Second is the fit. I love the euro look and feel of Puma. These are very similar, except Pumas run a little wider. My shoe length would normally be a 9.5 US, but depending on the width I usually need to go up. I would say that these run a 1/2 size small, plus I needed a little more width which put me at a 10.5. (I tried a pair of Diadora cleats on at Dick's sporting to make sure before ordering). They fit great! The other important thing I wanted that these and almost all soccer shoes have are a slightly narrower sole. A lot of indoor shoes are volleyball or squash and have a very wide sole for vertical support. If you are making any kind of lateral movements, that's a good way to sprain your ankle. I love my new kicks and they are also so stylin', that I could wear them out!
Thanks Zappos for the free and fast delivery!!!
