Fantastic sandal!
I don't typically write product reviews, but the Hurley Movement sandal is so good I thought I would mention it. It is extremely light and the combination of the unique sole and the leather footbed/strap make it very, very comfortable. Hopefully time will prove it to be durable as well. Highly recommended.

Light-weight but not ready to walk.
These sandals are very light, but not comfortable enough. I was looking replace my Cobian's I purchased four years ago which were great. (Their new sandals are not better.) I'm still looking for a new great sandal; the Mick fFanning Reefs are okay, but...?

I have very flat feet, so the lower volume of the uppers in this sandal worked out very well for me. The leather is soft and comfortable, and the thong doesn't create any rubbing. The serrated sole is a novel idea and works to make the walking motion efficient and provides good traction.
However, after a full day, my feet are sore from the lack of cushioning. My old Reef's are considerably easier on my feet, but don't offer the same fit in the uppers.
Overall, I am happy with my purchase, as the Movements are quite stylish and well made.

 |  | Dear Zappos, My daughter (Morgan) is a student at Ohio State University.
Approximately one month ago she had emergency gall bladder surgery. On Tuesday, September 15th, she had a follow up with her surgeon before she was to leave to move into her dorm on Thursday, September 17th. At the appointment, the surgeon advised that under no circumstances was she to lift over ten pounds until the end of October. We were told to that she would have to use a rolling book bag. My friend highly recommended Zappos.com. On Tuesday, September 15th, Morgan and I picked out a book bag from Zappos. Morgan was so anxious to place her online order, she did not choose the priority shipping option. I called Zappos within 15 minutes of her placing the order. Your customer service rep was very kind and far exceeded my customer service expectations by making me a VIP and offering to waive the
overnight fee. I was very impressed and very grateful. The bag arrived overnight as promised, but it was too small. I hated to return the book bag because your rep had been so kind. Yesterday, a beautiful get well bouquet arrived at our home for Morgan. It was from Zappos! There is no way I will return that bag without picking something else out from Zappos. In addition, I want EVERYONE to know what a wonderful company you are. I am so impressed and cannot thank you enough Zappos! Also, thank you for giving me the e-mail address to send my feedback.
