Fine looking dress boots -
I bought these because I ride a motorcycle. I wanted stylish zip-up boots I could also wear at the office. Although not specifically for bikes (no ankle padding, not particularly waterproof), the rubber sole gives good grip on questionable surfaces, and the wingtip detailing adds a touch of class. My only complaint is that they are hard to get on. I have a high instep & arch, and the clearance at the heel is tight for me. (They should ship with a shoehorn in the box - I've taken to carrying one in my pocket!) That being said, once they're on they fit well, are comfortable and provide good support. I like 'em.

Cool Dress Boot from Type Z -
Nice boot here. Great profile when worn with straight-legged slacks (not too wide, not too narrow on the pant opening), but I think they are a little overpriced for the type of sole. It squeaks on tile floors and leaves those horrible skid marks that no one wants to own up to. But it is a nice looking dress boot. I ordered the black pair and the leather has a nice crackled look. Very stylish and sets you apart from the others at work, just wearing their plain old drabby oxfords and boring loafers. It is a little difficult to get the heel of your foot in the boot, but a shoe horn helps there. Overall, not a bad buy for the style and comfort. And I'm sure it will go on sale soon, but a nicer sole would definitely be in order. And of course, Zappos customer service and delivery performance is always excellent...Thanks!

The customer service representative was extremely helpful and polite and made the fix a pleasant experience. Overall, I would highly recommend this site to anyone looking for a great deal on shoes and excellent customer satisfaction. Customer for life!
