Great potential, PAINFUL FIT!
Bought this 2007 model because I love the closure system, and they were $100 less than the new 8.0 model, and I don't need the 8.0's 100mm wheels either. I'd tried on the 8.0 model and they fit great, so figured the older ones would fit the same. WRONG. The frame comes together on the sides of the ankle where your round bone joints stick out, and it is incredibly painful to skate. Popped into Paragon in Manhattan to ask about this, and the salesman asked me, "The blue ones? Yeah, we got a LOT of complaints about that with those." I am returning them and getting a different model.
Other brands recommended by reviewer: Newer models of the Crossfire, or different model altogether...

I ordered two pairs of shoes this morning (around 10am) and I receive an email that my order not only had been processed, but shipped and it is 2:40pm-on the SAME day. AND I was upgraded to priority status. I have to say WOW. This is the most impressive online service I have had from retail - ever. I bought my wedding shoes from you back in Feb, and I do recall how fabulous your customer service team was. I can't believe I have waited this long to purchase from Zappos again. You went above and beyond my expectations and I greatly appreciate that-esp. in these times. I order online a great deal because of my busy schedule and it is hard to go out and go shopping. This is the best treatment I have had by far- and I haven't received my shoes yet, but I know I'll get 'em much sooner than I thought. KEEP IT UP!!!
