Inconsistent sizing -
I was excited to be getting these shoes since they looked great in pictures. I'm sending them back. The left one fits perfectly. The right on is obviously wider even just looking at it. It is way too big and even a different shape. Not nearly as cute on as in the picture. Not all that comfy either, especially for the price.

Love 'em!
I got these from Zappos about two months ago and I've probably worn them every day since! They are so cute (lots of compliments and people asking me where I got them) and so comfortable. No breaking in time whatsoever -- they were perfect from day one!
I usually wear a 9 but due to reviews I ordered a 9.5 and they are perfect. If I wear them all day my feet get a little sweaty so I'm trying to keep them fresh using a sneaker spray -- so far, so good. I love the "rabbit" color and I'm thinking about getting them in another color, too. I love these shoes so much; I even bought a pair for my mom!

I like the shoe, but the elastic on the sides can sometimes be a little irritating and there isn't any arch support. So, because of this you really can't wear them all day long if you are walking around a lot.

Pair was uneven in sizing -
I ordered a pair of these shoes from Zappos. The Zappos service was exceptional, the product...not so much.
I wear a 9.5 size and while both shoes were labeled 9.5, the left one was about 1/3 of an inch shorter and tighter across the top. The right one fit just fine. The left one is uncomfortably tight. Unfortunately, I didn't notice the difference until I wore the shoes outside, so now I'm stuck with them.
At $88.00 per pair, Simple needs to do more quality control on their product. Very disappointing.

As comfortable as your favorite slippers -
The simple Toetem was exactly as if had imagined: loose, but not sloppy, and they look great with all casual clothing. These are the shoes that you leave next to the door all summer, and slip into as you're walking out. They did seem to run a little bit bigger than my other simple shoes and sandals, but this could also be because the fabric stretches with wear. I would not recommend this for someone with a narrow foot. Overall, I am very happy with these shoes!

This shoe is very comfortable. I wore it walking for 2 hours the first day and had no problems. It feels a little wide which is great for me. I highly recommend the shoe.

Best green shoes I have owned -
Finally, eco-conscious shoes that are actually cute...I got them yesterday and wore them to work today right out of the box. They were very comfortable and needed no breaking in -- I will be looking into more styles from this brand for sure.

Great shoes! I work on my feet all day, so I needed a pair of shoes that would make my feet :)
I bought these (they arrived the next day from MEMPHIS, TN!!!) and put a pair of arch support insoles in them, and they are PERFECT. I've received numerous compliments on my cute "green" slip-ons already. Caution: The shoes may feel a size too small at first, but they are made of natural fibers, so they will stretch out a bit.

Better than expected -
I got a pretty good deal on these shoes and I expected them to be less substantial and somewhat loose, but they fit like a glove and they feel like they will be durable. I usually wear either size 8 or 8.5. I got an 8 and they fit perfectly. I think they are very comfy and I like the little knobby insole. They might be my favorite shoes and I've only had them for a couple of days. No break-in period! They look great with jeans. The insole is removable so you could put your own insole in or an orthodic if you wish.

Adorable Earth Shoes -
You couldn't ask for a better shoe if you're looking for a "green" shoe. They are amazingly cute and comfortable. No arch support, but they work perfectly with my orthotics. I've never been disappointed with the quality of Simple's shoes.

Great all around shoe!
This shoe is very comfortable. Roomy in the toe area but not too much that my foot is sliding around. I can wear with or without socks. I get tons of compliments on these shoes and three friends already said they are buying a pair. Looks great with jeans, sweats, shorts, capris, even a cotton mini skirt. Love this shoe and LOVE Zappos.

I am extremely happy with this shoe. I got the new taupe and it is cute and comfy. They are so light! I recently wore them on a trip to Washington, D.C. and they were really comfortable. I am really happy with my purchase and again so happy with the service that I got from Zappos. They are the best shoe store overall (online or in person). They have amazing selection and service! They run true to size so buy your regular size!

A great little shoe to bum around town in this summer just got them today. Delivery was fantastic. I got a size 11 they are going back to get a smaller size. I found them to a half size larger also especially with no socks on which is how I’m going to wear them this spring.

Just so you know...
I was also concerned about where and how they were made. After emailing them I was assured that though they are made in China, the conditions are carefully monitored and the employees are paid a fair wage. Of course it's cheaper to pay a fair wage to a laborer in China than it is in America, which is why they outsource labor I'd assume. But rest assured, these are NOT sweatshop made.

Not Happy -
A fun looking shoe, but I was very disappointed in the lack of arch support. In addition, the back of the shoe doesn't hold up well: after slipping the shoe on and off, the back "wall" no longer holds up and is smashed down. I'm all for eco friendly but I expected a bit more from the shoe.

Super cute and comfy!
These are great shoes. In the past, I've not had great luck with Simple shoes...they were a bit stiff for me, but these are really pliable and easy to slip on. The 8 fits my size 8 foot just right. The bottom lining is nubby, but not uncomfortable. They have a casual bohemian style to them. To Zappos: I am stunned at how quickly these shoes arrived. I ordered them at 8:30 Saturday night and they were on my doorstep by 11:30 Monday morning. I wasn't even expecting them until Tuesday. I don't know how you do it, but you are the best customer service on the web!

These shoes look better on your foot than they do in the pictures – very, very cute and comfortable. They do not have any support, but are great for slip-ons and running errands around town. They look great with jeans and shorts - I have already received several compliments. I wear an 8.5 - 9 on the high size. These run slightly small, 9 fits me well.

These are quite generous in width. My flattish, slightly wide, oddly shaped feet have plenty of wiggle room in a size 11. Not much in the way of cushion or arch support but still very comfortable. Love the tire tread bottoms! Not sure what to make of the "green" claim knowing that they're made in China, but hey, my feet need shoes regardless and these are quite cute.

I love these shoes! They are comfortable and fashionable. I added a heel insert because there wasn’t much support. After I did that, the shoes were perfect. The shoes are well made and sturdy.

Natural to the core....
Had to try these shoes, b/c of the natural products used in the manufacture of the shoes.
B/C the size of the toe portion of the shoe one might think they are too wide, but the foot feels comfortable. I suggest taking them out of the box for several hours b/fore wearing......I laughed when I thought I smelled the rubber from tires!!!

I just love these shoes! My new favorite pair! They have recycled tire rubber for soles and the comfy canvas uppers let your toes breathe. Great with jeans to run around town.

I LOVE these shoes.
They look cute with jeans, shorts, and even casual skirts.
They feel like pillows on your feet, but are a little more substantially made than most espadrille-type shoes, so I think they'll hold their shape better.

I love my new simples I wear them all the time. It’s really hot where I live so I wear them without socks and they are still comfortable. And I love that they are environmentally friendly. You should buy some right away!

When I got back I had an email from Zappos saying my shipping had been upgraded. "Great," I thought, having gotten this email before and not thinking much of it. When I got home from work at about 4 pm the next day, there was a Zappos shipping box waiting for me on my desk chair – less than 24 hours after I had placed the order the shoes had gotten to my house in Chicago! The delivery was made before I even got the email containing the tracking number!
