Wouldn’t stay on -
I normally wear a 6 1/2, which is what I ordered. This shoe felt too wide and 1/2 size too big. Also, the elastic strap just flopped off the back of my heel when I walked. I love the negative heel of Earth shoes (have two other pair). I was searching for a cute sandal, but this was just a little too "Earth-y" / "Birkenstocky" for my taste. Can't beat Zappos though.

Not as comfortable as it looks.
Although the elastic makes for a comfortable fit, the inflexibility of the shoe makes it hard to walk. The elastic does not secure the shoe sufficiently. I wear them from time to time because they look really nice but I make sure I will not be doing a lot of walking - and shoes were made for.............right walking.

So comfortable -
These are the first Earth shoes I've bought and I love them so far. I have pain in my forefoot and these shoes make it so much better - even without orthotics. They are very cute and go with a lot of the casual, earthy colors I wear.

Comfort and class -
I have these shoes in two different colors the white and the brown color. They are so comfortable and they get complements every time I go out in them. I have recently had to have my right leg amputated below the knee and work so well with my prosthesis. The fit both feet well and are easy and comfortable to wear for long periods of time. Try them you will not be disappointed.

The first shoe I got was a little big but when I got a size smaller - beautiful! Comfortable! And a perfect fit!

Poorly designed shoe -
I have been trying to find a great pair of Earth white shoes for summer, hoping this one would be the #10. The strap over the metatarsal area is a lovely design. However, the elastic strap didn't stay on my heel while walking and that is the reason you don't see them on shoes. The company that makes these needs to find a better way to hold the shoe on your foot. Also, I ordered these a half size smaller which was better than my regular size.

 |  | Dear Zappos, My daughter (Morgan) is a student at Ohio State University.
Approximately one month ago she had emergency gall bladder surgery. On Tuesday, September 15th, she had a follow up with her surgeon before she was to leave to move into her dorm on Thursday, September 17th. At the appointment, the surgeon advised that under no circumstances was she to lift over ten pounds until the end of October. We were told to that she would have to use a rolling book bag. My friend highly recommended Zappos.com. On Tuesday, September 15th, Morgan and I picked out a book bag from Zappos. Morgan was so anxious to place her online order, she did not choose the priority shipping option. I called Zappos within 15 minutes of her placing the order. Your customer service rep was very kind and far exceeded my customer service expectations by making me a VIP and offering to waive the
overnight fee. I was very impressed and very grateful. The bag arrived overnight as promised, but it was too small. I hated to return the book bag because your rep had been so kind. Yesterday, a beautiful get well bouquet arrived at our home for Morgan. It was from Zappos! There is no way I will return that bag without picking something else out from Zappos. In addition, I want EVERYONE to know what a wonderful company you are. I am so impressed and cannot thank you enough Zappos! Also, thank you for giving me the e-mail address to send my feedback.
