I originally bought this bag to travel with and not worry about getting my purse cut and/or my belongings stolen. So, I decided to try it out before I left on my trip to see how I liked it. Well, I haven\'t gone back to my leather bag yet! Here\'s why: It\'s the perfect size for all of the stuff I carry around on a daily basis (I have 3 children), it has several handy compartments inside and out, it\'s nylon which repels the water wonderfully (it rains a lot here in Belgium), it\'s much lighter than my leather bag, I can adjust the strap easily to go on my shoulder or across my body, and I can secure the outside zipper easily which is a great safety feature. If needed, I can pack a ton of stuff in this bag. It may not be very stylish for folks who are looking for a fancy leather bag, but it is eco-friendly, practical, and well-made. I am very impressed and hope it comes in spring colors!

I just want to let you know that this is a great purse. It does hold quite a bit of stuff. If you carry a big wallet, it fits in it quite nicely and still have room for more personal items. It has 2 inside zipper pockets that is basically the length of the purse and just as deep. It can hold quite a bit. Plus it has slots for credit cards and 2 open pockets for your cell phone and ipod or whatever you would like to put in it. Plus there is 1 open pocket that is on the side for holding your reading glasses or sunglasses. Plus there are the 2 outside side pockets for carrying things in. They are not that big, so I use one side for my sunglasses and the other for my purse kleenexes or whatever you would like to get to easily. Then there's the 2 back zipper pockets as well. They are actually very nice and come in handy when you're in a hurry. You can just put your keys or whatever you like in there. Plus I really love the bright color of the inside of the purse. Mine is a light blue. You could see everything a lot easier when you're looking for something, especially when you're in a hurry. The quality of the purse is fantastic. The strap can be adjustable for over the shoulder or across body fit and still feels comfortable and very lightweight. I just adore this purse. The best thing about it is that it is very affordable. It goes with just about every outfit and it looks great against you when it is on your shoulder. But the best feature of this purse is that it locks so it cannot be opened without you knowing it. I just really love that part. I definitely will buy this purse again. This is one great buy!

I recently used this bag on a trip to Turkey. It was nice to know that my passport and tickets could be hidden in one of the inner pockets. As well as with the zipper lock, no one would be able to get into it without me noticing. It was very useful during my transit through the busy airports.

This bag is perfect. I bought 4 different styles of Pacsafe before this one. I initially thought it was going to be too big but it’s perfect for the traveling I will be doing, holding my SLR, book, water and small misc goods without being oversized.

This is a great bag! I have a larger PacSafe bag, and wanted one I could use as a purse for business travel. What I love most about these PacSafe bags is that they weigh nearly nothing and yet are so secure. I don’t want a heavy bag when I travel so these are perfect! The bag is a perfect size for this purpose. My passport fits perfectly in one of the outside zip pockets so it’s easily accessible without opening the purse. I would have preferred to have one additional full size - outside zip pocket, but it's not necessary, just would be 'nice to have'. The internal compartments are great!!!

I bought this purse at my daughters recommendation. She has a tan one, so I ordered the red one. However, I just don\'t like it like she does. It seems to be stiff and too wide from side to side for me. The pockets and organization is great, but the zipper pulls are hard to get a hold of. You end up breaking your nails trying to get them. I sent it back.

I ordered the Pacsafe CitySafe 200 purse in preparation for our trip to Italy in July. The purse was wonderful! When in the metro, I kept the zipper lock done up. When we went into restaurants, I looped the strap around my chair and clipped to back to my purse. When siteseeing I wore the purse bandoleer style. I sewed a large hook onto my wide brimmed hat and hooked it onto my purse when I didn't need to wear it. I put my bottle of water or soda into the bottle holder on my purse every day. This purse did everything I had hoped it would do and more! I felt safer with my money, passport, and valuables in my purse than with my husband's wallet in his pant pockets! I would seriously recommend this purse to anyone who is traveling, anywhere! It's not the prettiest purse in the world, but it is stylish enough to serve my needs. Anyway, I'd rather have my valuables safe than be a fashion hound who loses everything.

I looked for a long time for a travel purse. I wanted something that was secure, organized, lightweight and somewhat fashionable. Additionally, I needed something that would carry not only everything I needed, but the many supplies my two children require. I thought I would like the Metrosafe series best but it was too bulky on my hip. This purse exceeded my expectations! It's more stylish than the picture (sort of a cross between a purse and a messenger bag) and melds comfortably against my body. Best yet, it carries everything I needed, including a full-sized umbrella with much room to spare. The strap is adjustable. There are many pockets inside and out. And the blue lining makes finding items easier. I was able to squeeze in a water bottle into the outside stretch pocket but it took some tugging. This purse made travel much more pleasant.

I shopped everywhere for a particular bag with no success. I decided to try Zappos.com and found my bag! It has compartments on the outside (cellphone and small spray stain remover) as well as two other zippered areas which is a little difficult to unzip quickly, but this is why it is called Pacsafe. There are additional compartments on the inside (credit cards, pens, paper pad, etc.) Perfect for travel and everyday use. The zippers are constructed to frustrate anyone trying to get into the purse. The top zipper has a lock also. It would be nice to have other colors such as brown, but I am still happy with black. My shopping experience with your customer service was above and beyond my expectation. I needed this bag quickly and a very pleasant gal (I should have asked her name) did everything to make it happen. So Zappos, you and your excellent customer service rock! You must have a great training program! I did a lot of feet pounding searching for the right bag when all I had to do was go online with Zappos to order this wonderful bag.

I took this on a 2-week trip to Europe as well. It\'s a very plain-looking bag, but it gave me a lot of peace of mind during my constant traveling. Simple features such as the clip at the top that attaches the zipper to the end of the bag were a big help in ensuring my personal belongings were safe. I kept a PSP (PlayStation Portable - for wireless internet access), my wallet, a small phrasebook, an iPod, and a small notebook inside my bag at all times, and had plenty of room. The outside pockets would have been more useful had they been larger. I did find the umbrella/water bottle pockets to be useful on lots of sightseeing tours. As with other reviewers, I think it would have been more comfortable with a better-padded shoulder strap.

Last time I was in Europe, my purse strap was sliced about 95% through!! I bought this bag because of its safety features and to replace a \'healthy back\' bag that I was using then I travel. I love this bag!! It\'s roomy, has great storage compartments and it is easy to find things since everything doesn\'t fall into a heap in the bottom!!

Pacsafe Citysafe in Italy -
Size of bag was perfect for carrying all travel essentials including more than 1 tour book, a wine bottle at 1 time. Would have liked the 2 outside zippered pockets to be only 1 big one or open up to be one big one- not so useful as they are. Liked having the outside end pockets and the zippered ones inside. The strap did dig into the shoulder especially when really packed up; a moveable part of the strap with more padding would be more comfortable. Happy with my purchase.

Quick delivery, decent price, and quality product. What else can one say? Purchased the Pacsafe to carry valuables, in Italy. I left my wallet at home because it had compartments for credit cards, money, passports, and anything else you wanted to keep safe. The water bottle slot worked well as did the compact umbrella slot on the opposite side. I am still using it here in the States because it is so handy.

This is a decent bag. The construction feels sturdy and the security features are reassuring. Despite the flat profile, this bag can fit quite a bit. I currently have in my bag: Blackberry, cell phone, iPod, large 500-page hardcover book, large wallet, sunglasses case, makeup kit, keys, headphones case.
Beware that the exterior side pockets are not big enough for standard water bottles (but will fit a mini-umbrella).
The back pockets are too small to be useful, but it's easy to rip out the middle seam separating the two pockets to create one big pocket.
Internal organization is good, but the card holder is pretty useless - cards fall out, and even with the security features I feel safer putting the cards in my wallet and my wallet in my bag.
After a long day the bag can feel a little heavy, but it's much lighter than comparable bags.

I love this bag, I use it for travel as well at home on occasion. I always felt that the bag was secure and never had to worry. Not quite enough to act as a flight bag, but holds wallet, mp3 player, book, and bottle of water with room to spare.

I have never purchased an item from your site before, but you can bet I will from now on! My order was delivered in less time then I thought the bag came in, in wonderful condition thanks to your employees. It was every bit what your site said it would be. It’s a great looking bag, roomy and well organized. All my personal needs were met and still roomy enough to carry extra things as well. Plenty of pockets to keep those smaller items that always get lost at the bottom of a purse in place. Wonderful, safe city bag -
I bought this bag as a "hostess" gift for a friend with whom I stayed in New York City for a week. I had purchased the bag for myself prior to the trip (at another location) and loved it so much I knew she would want one since she works in the City.
Pacsafe's CitySafe 200 is a wonderful choice for urbank travel. It is lightweight, has all the safety features you'd want in a bag, and good looking, too! The side pockets are a great feature. On a recent trip to New York City, I had my oversized sunglasses in the "water bottle" pocket and my metro ticket in the other small pocket. Even though it's an open pocket, it is tight enough that things won't fall out of it. I used one of the small outside zip pockets for daily cash, so I didn't need to get into bag. I used the "safety" strap in restaurants and "safety-caught" the top zipper to the bag in crowded subways and busses. Even in the crush of people on the Staten Island Ferry, I felt my bag and valuables were safe. It's a great buy, and Zappos provided wonderful service, as usual.

A great traveling bag -
I just got back from a two week trip to Alaska. This bag was with me the whole way. It held my camera, pda, all travel documents, a small paper back book, and misc. personal items. It did not get heavy & I could find an item right away. I really like the light blue lining. The exterior held up through quite a lot - rain, train & bus floors & all kind of air traveling. The extra pockets gave a home to small stuff like pens or a nail file. The strap was easy to change from shoulder strap to wearing over my head & shoulder. The security features in this bag are very well made. I especially like being able to keep the zipper latched/hooked so it can not be opened in a crowded area. You can not go wrong with this bag. I'm sure you will enjoy it as much as I have.

I ordered the Pacsafe for an upcoming trip to Barcelona. The size looks right for carrying my daily essentials as well as using it as a carryon. The safety factors give me peace of mind. Having the ability to clip the zipper so no prying hands can open it makes me feel more secure. I also like the idea of not being able to slash the bottom or handles. This looks like a good travel bag in all. The back two pockets should be revised into one larger one. You could then put a book or map in it. The size is rather awkward now.

Great travel bag! I purchased this bag for a recent trip to Rome. I wanted something roomy with some measure of security. It has very good internal organization, although I would rather have had another media pocket than the credit card slots. I was able to fit a moleskin, large marker case, camera, cell phone, maps, travel book, wrap, sunglasses, wallet and miscellaneous small purchases and it never felt too bulky. Externally, I used the elastic side pocket for either my water bottle or sunglasses case, depending on the situation. The smaller pocket on the other side held tissues but it's large enough to fit a compact umbrella. It would have been more useful if both sides were the larger elastic pocket. The two small pockets on the back were great for maps, lip balm, tickets, etc. I never worried about security even in crowds as the zipper clip is quite difficult to get into even when you know what you're doing. Gets easier with practice though. All in all it did a great job and has become my new "go to" travel bag.

Great bag for travel - Having been robbed without even knowing it in a crowded subway in Madrid several years ago, I have always been searching for a bag that is secure enough, even though I am always on the alert. This bag does it! Travel this summer included a place where you just don't want to wear a fanny pack for your cameras as that cries "tourist." The CitySafe 200 allowed me to have my professional camera and separate zoom lens safely inside, along with other important items. I highly recommend it, and it's not a bad looking bag. Better than some "safe and secure" bags that I have seen. Just keep your wits about you whenever you travel or for that matter at home too!

I LOVE THIS TOTE! I've never had a tote/purse that I've loved so much. Everything has a place and it stays organized. It holds absolutely everything I always carry, things that used to get lost in my other purses because they were on top of each other, and now I can find them easily. The tote is lightweight and just the right size. I used it for a trip to NYC and decided to use it every day. I love it! Can't say it enough. The safety features are pretty neat too (locking zipper, detachable strap to hook around a chair or shopping cart). Buy this! You won't be sorry. I also agree with others that the outside pockets are kind of useless (too small), but I keep small seldom-used items in them.

I wanted to like this, but it just looked a little too much like a diaper bag for me and was a little "stiff". Very well made and seems like it would be very durable. For the dimensions, I thought the large inside area seemed a little small. Also, didn't like the two small zippered pockets on the outside - I think other reviews have mentioned this. They're very small and hard to get your hand into; one large zippered pocket on the outside would be more useful to me.

I just used this bag for a 2 week trip to Ireland and found it very useful and well designed. It turned out to be a bit too small for this type of trip because I took a raincoat and light jacket everyday for the cool, changeable weather. I tied my raincoat to the shoulder strap as it would not fit in the bag. I agree with other reviewers that the 2 outside zipper pockets should be changed to one large pocket to put maps in. I loved the light colored interior with all the different pockets. The outside bottle holder could be a bit larger - I had a bit of a struggle to get the bottle in each time. I only gave it 4 stars for looks because I would have liked some kind of decorative detail.
