Nice shoe, easily scuffed - Although it did take a bit to get used to the heel, it did end up being comfortable. The shoe does get folds easily, and I found that the toe gets scuff marks on it fairly easily (guess I need some shoe polish). I also found them to be a bit cheap looking for a shoe at this price point.

Very comfortable!
It took me a few days to get used to the low-heel, high-toe design. It felt really weird walking in them at first, but after a few days, I decided that these shoes are the most comfortable I've owned. Looking at these shoes closely, I think it's a little strange that they didn't reinforce the shoelace holes with metal rims, but I haven't seen any wear and tear around the holes yet, so maybe reinforcements aren't needed. The shoes look pretty nice - especially for vegan shoes, but I'm a bit unhappy that they now have some permanent creasing between the toe box and body of the shoe (where my toes meet my foot). I suppose that leather shoes would probably have the same problem, so this might not be a big deal. Overall, I'd definitely buy these shoes again.

Nice semi-dress shoe -
This is an excellent shoe from Earth. Have both the black and brown and after nearly a year they are holding up nicely. There is a short break-in period, after which they become more comfortable for all-day wear and walking. The padded sole makes for a fairly comfortable shoe for walking by dress shoe standards. The toe box is very roomy: a feature I don't particularly need, but is very welcome and gives the toes more room to move. Only complaints are that there could be a little more arch support for my taste and they could breathe a little better, but they are certainly no worse than a traditional leather shoe. I'm going to buy a pair of the Earth Brion for casual wear and extended walking, but I expect the Oak to take care of my dressier shoe needs for several years.

Good conservative shoe from Earth!
The shoe has a strange fit, not like the other Earth's I own. Laces do not allow the show to tie it tight (which I have a personal preference for) but it still is a snug fit. My toes have enough room to make it a comfortable fit.
