Ah, to wear earth shoes again. It has been many years since I felt the comfort of earth shoes. The shoes fit perfectly, have a good arch support, and look good to boot! I was a little concerned with how this the shoelaces are, but they tied tightly and did not come loose throughout the day. I strongly recommend them.

These are very comfortable, feel great on my back, and best of all don't look unusual when worn with a suit. This was exactly what I was after when I came looking for better shoes.

The Earth Oak is the quintessence of comfort. As a dress shoe, it's not quite as eye-catching as some conventional dress shoes, but your feet will thank you for buying them. They work well both with suits and with jeans, and they shine very nicely with just a bit of wax and buffing. Do yourself a favor: Buy this shoe.

This shoe is all about comfort. It has great arch support! And they are very light weight. They aren't the most stylish shoes in the world, but then again you could do a lot worse.

Earth Oak -
I found these shoes to be very comfortable. The negative heel takes a little getting used to (couple of days). They helped with back pain which I tend to get after standing for a long period of time. The toe box seems a bit large in the up direction which causes the area at the base of the laces to pucker a bit but does not affect the comfort. They look a little clunky with their broad toe box and thick sole but the comfort is worth it.

My husband loves them!
I bought my husband several dress shoes for work and he ended up choosing the Oak for the look and comfort. He is a sneaker guy so getting him to love a pair of dress shoes was not easy.

Simply the best...
I bought these shoes for my husband who swears by Earth shoes (and sandals). He says these are his best pair yet ... and insists on wearing them every day.

I love these shoes. They fit comfortably right away. I have a medium-wide foot and there is plenty of room for me. They look very nice. The negative heel takes a few steps to get used to, but now they are my favorite shoes. I feel like they improve my posture and gait. They could do with some better shoestrings though. They come untied easily.

Why Only One Width?
Very comfortable shoes, but it takes a while to get used to the lower heel. Problem: They only come in medium--not helpful for people like me with narrow feet.

A New Experience -
Have been trying for some time to find a shoe that is friendly to my feet. The Earth Oak fills that requirement with its roominess in the toes and inner support lacking in so many others. The fit and finish of the body of the shoe is obvious and after I had tried the shoe with in home walking, I began the process of settling in on the new feel the shoe provides. If you care to protect the shoe's original finish, don't forget to polish the leather before regular usage begins. I learned that from a shoe man when I was twelve and it has proven to be correct. This shoe is recommended.

!!Supreme shoes!!
I bought the Downtown 2's in both brown and black (I liked that look better), this shoe I purchased just because I wanted a variety in style. After trying on the Downtown 2's and this, I kept a pair of each and returned the other. Unfortunately, the Downtown 2's cut into the back of my heel really bad and one day even made it bleed. I have since returned those for another pair of these-check out the 360 view-it has excellent padded support for the Achilles portion of my heel-not to mention the great support Earth shoes have all over!! Definite recommendation!!

Comfortable and attractive -
High quality leather upper, cushiony insole with good arch support, moderately negative heel. The sole is slightly harder than on the Rocket K but is still comfortable and gives good traction. Roomy toe box and comfortably snug heel. Flawless calf leather looks very good for casual or dress. Laces want to come untied but are long enough for double-knotting. I'm very happy with this shoe.

My first chance to wear my new Earth Oak shoes was for a two day trip for a funeral visitation and funeral and graveside in another area of the state. I didn't need to break them in. They were comfortable and felt good on my feet.

Earth to Feet!
What can I say, except that these are without a doubt the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn. My back is no longer in pain and I feel so GOOD!
If you need some relief for your back, get a pair of these Wonderful Shoes.
I'm looking to get me another pair very shortly.
Not the best looking, but they sure do feel good!

Very comfortable shoes. They will make your feet smile.
This is my 6th pair of Earth shoes, because I wear them so much. I reluctantly do enough walking to keep my doctor off my case. (Still wants me to do more though) Earth shoes make it possible.
Oh, and this kind takes to black shoe wax well, which helps keep their appearance up.
I love em; my wife makes me toss out the old pairs as I wear them all the time, and eventually the soles of the shoes thin, and they’re thick soles.
It did take my legs a while to adjust to the negative heel. But that was years ago, and might have been peculiar to me.

Stand up straight!
This is the second pair of Earth Shoes I've bought for my husband. He stands a lot in his work and also has diabetes, so good footwear is important. Within the first five seconds after putting on the shoes, he immediately felt better, stood straighter and taller, and looked ten years younger. Well, OK, maybe not ten.... Anyway, we highly recommend these shoes, pricey as they are, but worth every penny.

I'm impressed! Few companies care about customer service anymore because they seem to believe they have American consumers "over a barrel." Why provide good customer service when they don't have to? At least goes the thinking. I deplore talking to "Customer Service" representatives in overseas. I don't understand them and they don't understand me. And they don't solve problems, they just read from printed cue cards. So...THANK YOU for caring about customer service. It DOES matter to me, it DOES matter to the American public. Next time I need shoes, you'll be the first place I shop.
