These boots are great for rain and super comfy. They are insulated on the inside so I\'m hoping they\'ll stand up to the cold, slushy Chicago winters. All in all, I\'m very happy with this purchase.

I got these in charcoal plaid. I love them! Not only do they keep my feet dry and give them support, but I always get compliments on them! These make rainy days so much better.

Love these boots! I usually buy a new pair of rain boots every few years, but I have a feeling I won't need a new pair in a few years because these are such great quality. They are very true to size and extremely comfortable. They have the softest felted lining and are fairly warm. I definitely recommend them.

I bought these boots for my college freshman daughter. She is living on a campus that is getting swamped with rain this fall and really needed boots. She absolutely loves her boots. They fit true to size, are very comfortable and keep her dry. That's all we could ask, but they are also comfortable walking across campus. She got the charcoal gray plaid style which she absolutely loves. Great boot, you get what you pay for!

These fit great in the store and looked cute and warm. Walking around, they were perfectly comfortable. However, when I got home and took my shoes off, my toes were wet! Not sopping, but definitely wet. I can't imagine what was wrong with them such that the first time I wear them, my feet would get wet, but they're being returned.

The Sperry Top-Sider Pelican Tall Boots have been fabulous! They are so comfortable and give you arch support throughout the entire day. The top is large enough to tuck any pants into and if you're brave enough, pairing them with jewel toned tights and a cute dress looks great as well! Worth the price!

Wonderful boot! I wear them to take care of my horse in the mud! They are softly lined so you don't have to wear socks. Run true to size and width.

These boots are great! It rains a lot here in Seattle, and wearing such cute boots (I got the Navy/Red Plaid) lifts up your spirits! Plus, they are warm and comfortable, because they are lined, and unlike most rain boots actually hug your feet, so it feels like a nice fit. You get comfort and style all in one package! Also Zappos upgraded me to 2nd day shipping for free! Couldn\'t be more satisfied.

I bought these boots for my daughter who will be wearing them on campus. She absolutely loved them when she opened the box and told me she especially liked the warm lining! So far after several wearings throughout many days of rainy weather here in Chicago, she\'s had no complaints.

I was very pleased with this product. They are amazingly comfortable... I had know idea they would be so soothing to my feet. I have not worn them in deep waters yet but I live in Houston and it rains all the time so I hope to get lots of use out of them. But overall I give them 2 thumbs up! I would recommend this product.

This is the best place to purchase shoes. My first order was great and my second order they gave me free shipping. They always have things in stock! The people are very friendly I did make a phone purchase before too.

These boots are awesome. I've received SO MANY compliments on them and they can be worn with everything. They keep my feet nice a dry and have a slight lining so they can be worn in winter slush and spring rainstorms comfortably. LOVE THEM.

I am so unbelievably disappointed... yet somewhat comforted that other reviewers have had the same problem -- both of my boots split at the seams about 1 year after owning them. It’s an extra sad because they were so cute and comfy. Mega bummer.

Seam tears--beware!
Like many people who have posted, the seam tore right along the edge of the right boot, so now they are no longer water proof. I have only worn them a handful of times going to and from class, and I am really disappointed. I wish I would have read these reviews before I bought them!

Seam opened up after 1 season! Cold water coming in. The seam between the sole and the top part of the boot opened up on both L and R boots after 1 season so cold water seeps in... And I only wore these on regular rainy days. I didn't abuse these.

Got them in today...when I opened the box and saw the boot I was a little worried that they may not fit because they just looked so narrow. Boy, I was wrong. They fit so perfectly even on my widish feet. They not only look so lovely but they feel it as well. The air padding makes every stride so nice and cushiony. Usually with boots I have to break them in to where I train my feet to get use to the shape and feel of it, but with these babies it was like a walk in the park. They are worth every penny and the workman ship is superb.

Love them!
I bought 1 pair in NC for my daughter who walks a lot on campus. We loved them! I bought 2 more pairs from Zappos (different styles). We call them our winter "flip flops!" They are wonderful for snow or rain. They keep our feet warm and dry. We can’t go anywhere without compliments. They are good quality, no problems with any of them. They fit so nice and are comfortable to wear all day. We wouldn’t want to go through this PA weather without them!

Comfortable rain boots for NYC -
I ordered the Charcoal plaid version of this boot. They comfortable and warm. I've walked to work on rainy days and have not been disappointed. The color on the website shows up on my computer as a dark charcoal, but in reality the boot color is a much lighter gray.

If you're looking for a boot that is truly waterproof, comfortable to walk in, and actually styles at the same time - Sperry's Top-Sider Pelican Tall Boot is it. I have the paisley design and like them a lot.

Pass please! Not durable.
I haven't even had these boots for a full year yet and I probably haven't worn them any more than 6-7 times (and only on campus, from class to class, so very light wear). YET, today, I discovered that the rubber has torn along the seam, exposing the lining - on the right boot. Previously when I wore these, it had seemed like my foot felt a bit wet, so I think the tear was there much earlier, but that I just never noticed until now. I've read the other comments - what's going on with only the right boot ripping? Comfort: warning, it's a sock-sucker and after it sucks your socks halfway down your feet, it'll start chafing your heels. Footbed itself is pretty comfortable and seems to be well-cushioned, though the sock-sucking aspect distracts from any other comfort of this shoe. Look: actually, I think this boot is too shiny, looks kind of dominatrix, which if you like, is fine, but I prefer something more matte. For me, awkward shaft height, too (5'3-5'4). In sum: be forewarned, your boot may or may not tear after a few uses, but why take the chance anyway?

I am leaving for a trip to Paris in a couple of weeks and I've been searching for the right pair. I've not had much luck, but I wanted to let you guys know that it isn't because I've been unhappy with my shopping experience with Zappos. Quite the opposite actually. Because your customer service and purchasing/returning policy is so great - I just keep coming back.
