If you want to wear shoes for comfort, then I would say buy these. They are good looking casual shoes, made of incredibly soft leather that mold to your feet. It's like walking on a cloud. I've tried several expensive brands of shoes for comfort. Since I have a very high instep, my choices are limited. I need really good support inside the shoe. Surprisingly, these are perfect. I love these shoes, but they're so comfortable I don't want to wear my other shoes & I'm afraid I'll wear them out too quickly. Comfy! I only wish they had a thicker outer sole.
Other brands recommended by reviewer: Clarks, they have many styles that are also very comfortable.

Arcopedico New Queen II - These shoes are nicely made, actually shaped like my feet which is not something to be taken for granted. The construction is good and the leather is soft so these feel good on my feet. They are not, however, as well suited to walking as I had hoped. There is not enough of an arch for me (I need an aggressive arch) nor enough cushioning. My orthotics did not fit in this shoe. I ended up making my own out of craft foam (I've had to resort to this before; it's not elegant but I can put extra padding and arch support in that is better than nothing). I like these shoes, but still can't count on doing a lot of walking in them.

I have bought at least ten pairs of Arcopedico Queen shoes over the years and have been extremely happy with the overall fit and comfort. They are excellent walking shoes but still have some style. My only complaint is that the ones I wear the most wear out eventually above the right big toe. I\'ve never had this problem with the left foot, which is my larger foot. It\'s like there\'s a weakness in the leather upper at that point, and sooner or later the toe creates a hole. If anyone has an answer for why this happens, I\'d be happy to hear it.\r\n\r\nThat said, in the years I\'ve been wearing these shoes, my foot problems have disappeared. No more corns or calluses or tired feet.

So far I have had two pairs of Arcopedico New Queen II and both pair have had less toe space in the right shoe. The first pair I sent back and was immediately sent another pair. It seems there is less leather in the top part of the right shoe that makes it tighter. The left one feels great!! NO, my right foot is not bigger than my left one. I have never had this problem with other shoes. These are supposed to be top quality shoes, but in my opinion they are not. They certainly are not cheap at the price. They would be worth that if they were a matched pair.

This is a smart shoe that is reasonably good looking. Some arch support, but not enough for me. I was surprised (not only with this brand, but with this price point) that there is no shock absorption on the sole. I can't walk for long distances and have my feet NOT hurt. However, for in and out of the car, its a great shoe. I wouldn't wear them to the mall or anything that requires a decent walk. The good news is that the supple leather fits like a glove. It'll stretch a bit, too. They feel like a really nice pair of slippers. At first, my big toe was uncomfortable, but the leather stretched nicely without any stress to the appearance of the shoe. After a few days I was fine and added an insert for arch support and some shock absorption. So, if you are looking for a smart shoe for the airport, picking up the kids or other light errands, this is great. If you need decent comfort, look elsewhere. You can do better for the price.

Great, classy shoes ... love them -
The shoes are very comfortable and these are the sixth pair I've purchased. I can recommend them with an honest heart.

The only problem with these shoes for me is that it hurts my heel on one foot. I don't have a wide foot like many of the reviewers and I think that's the problem. I had to go up one European size and return one pair, but other than that, these shoes are great! They look stylish; they are soft and practical and look good with skirts or pants.

Feet treat -
Great shoes for almost all occasions and super comfortable. A simple design, well made, and with a nice little slide lock detail on the front. Perfect for traveling. This is my second pair.

Extremely comfortable, not the most stylish thing around, but quite versatile! This is my second pair of Arcopedico New Queens and I'm tempted to buy the green and make it three! These are cute, lightweight, and flexible shoes, good for wearing without socks in the summer. Although not especially for wide feet, they do a nice job of accommodating wider feet.

The closest thing to walkin' around in one's sox!!
This is the second pair of Queens I've purchased in the last 6 months. I have a narrowish heel but the front part of my foot is not so narrow. These fit like a glove--and are just as soft. This brand uses a European sizing--but the 38 is pretty true to my regular 7 1/2 - 8.

Airless -
I bought this shoe because I thought they were cute and that they looked comfortable. For the price I thought they would be like walking on air, but they are really not that comfortable. They're ok ...I could have sent them back...

Fabulously cute and comfy -
This is the first pair of Arcopedico shoes I bought and I am delighted. This shoe is so flexible, leather is very soft and molds to your feet shape. They have a great arch support. The first time I put them on I wore them for the whole day around town and my feet felt great. These shoes have such a cute shape and I love the green color. I have trouble finding the shoes that fit and these fit like a glove, so I will get them in red, too. I definitely became a big fan of Arcopedico shoes!

No need to break these in.
While I realize this style of shoe isn't the MOST attractive, it goes well with jeans. For me they are super comfortable. I picked up a pair last year in Naples Fl to wear on the tile floor for some cushion. They have become my favorite walking shoe. No rubbing or binding. Now, this black pair I just purchased has a bit of an issue in the heel I am hoping wears down. Otherwise it is comfortable for my wider feet.

I found this shoe to be very comfortable. I was surprised that is has a slightly negative heel. Although it does not appear so from the outside, from the inside it is obvious. Sometimes a negative heel causes an ache in my lower back. I simply added a wedge under the insole, and all is well. Even with this limitation I would consider purchasing in a different color. Looks great with or without socks. I wear a 5.5 or 6 and sometimes European size 36 is too large. This shoe fit perfectly in a size 36.

For narrow feet, too -
The description fails to mention the single feature for which I choose this shoe: the "toggle" decoration is actually an adjustable elastic around the top (that part that always gaps on those of us who can no longer find AA widths). The elastic also hugs the narrow heel preventing that movement that causes blisters (and often ruins the first day of my vacation). So I bought the camel-colored (size 9 shoes should try to blend in, only clowns buy "cute" shoes that size), wore them almost every day for 2 weeks in Europe and was happy with them every day, even when it rained and they got soaked. It removed a tiny spot I'd been afraid to clean.
They are too wide but seem to be shaping themselves to fit my foot; the leather is glove-soft.

Arch support not great -
I guess I need more support than those who wrote that this shoe has good arch support. I love Mephisto's orthopedic foot beds - didn't expect that - but hoped for more support than this. The toe is a little flat for me, too, pushes down on my toes some, but am hoping that a little wear will correct that.

Not easy being green -
Absolutely comfortable; but the green is absolutely, um, not pretty. According to my monitor, the green looks really rich and deep; what it is, though, is a depressingly pale pea green. So -- back they go; but I've already ordered them in black. They are comfortable, and weirdly cool looking, in a sort of funky, unstructured way. As for size, I wear an 8 or 8 1/2, and the 39 is fine.

New find -
I probably would never had heard of this brand were it not for Zappos (without doubt my favorite online store.) I normally wear a wide or extra wide shoe (and am cursed with bunions), so I was a little skeptical about ordering these, but, after reading reviews here, I decided to go ahead (since there's really nothing to lose with Zappos great return policy). I am glad I did, since this shoe is extremely comfortable; the glove soft leather sort of molds to your foot. I've worn these to work two days in a row now, and am not even tempted to kick them off immediately when I get home. Given the high quality construction and materials, I think these are actually very reasonably priced, and I will certainly look into buying other styles from this brand.

Nice Shoe -
Love this Arcopedico New Queen II. At first I thought this shoe was too small. However, the leather is so soft that it soon stretches oh so little. I am a (7) and this shoe is for 6 1/2-7. Lots of room in the toe box. Looks good with jeans, skirts and shorts or capris. I got the brown which is a blah color but the fit is fabulous and now I don't wear any other shoe because of the comfort. I plan on buying more colors. I put an innersole in them for my bunions and arch support and just more comfort & cushion. This helps with my arthritis in the feet. The price is somewhat high for me but foot comfort is my highest priority. I just got my husband to buy (2) pairs of shoes from Zappos. He was amazed with the service. Zappos is so helpful and considerate. I truly thank them for their help and patience. I won't buy shoes anywhere else.

Very comfortable shoe. Fits true to size, for me at least. The leather is very soft and light so it is not a very warm shoe (need to wear thick socks if in a cold climate). Seems well made and like they will wear well over time. They feel like your wearing slippers, even after being on feet/walking all day. PS - Zappos customer service is consistently excellent.

Trip perfect!
I recently wore these shoes on an active trip through Egypt. They remained comfortable throughout the day and looked as good when I came home as they did the day I left. I intend to get these in other colors.

 | | After placing an order online, I realized that I didn't log into the site with the VIP, but with the regular Zappos.com. I immediately called your 24/7 hot line, and had one of the best customer service agents ever! Not only was she helpful in changing the shipping immediately, I also asked her to help me find similar boots in a different color, and she really tried her best to do so. I want to thank her once again for her kindness, support, and help! It is easy and fast to complain, and very rare to get a compliment! This is definitely a compliment for an excellent rep!
