These were way too deep (not wide) for my shallow foot. The stiff leather straps hovered at least 1/2" above the top of my foot. The overall look and feel reminded me of the sandals at tourist traps in Central America.

These sandals are so comfortable! They were brand new when I took them recently on a trip to New Orleans...I walked everywhere in them and they held up very well. They are very simple yet stylish and will make you feel quite tall!

Great-looking but not that comfortable for a wide foot -
I usually take a wide width, but I loved this shoe so much that I thought I would try it, even though it doesn't come in wide. For me, it is too narrow in front, but wider than normal in the middle of the shoe. The shoe has stretched a little bit since I've worn it (over a period of about 2 weeks), and I hope it stretches some more. The leather is pliable, and I'm expecting it to become more comfortable. But it looks great and goes with all summer clothes. The quality is excellent.

Best sandals ever -
I love this sandal. Everything about it is just right. The fit, style, and comfort level are all perfect. I am in retail, so I am on my feet all day. These shoes never bother me. I have the black, brown, and kernel. I will be getting the natural color next. These shoes are worth every bit of the cost. They will last you a long time.

Perfect! Having wide and not-pretty feet makes dressing up (or just putting shoes on) stressful. These are the BEST shoes I have ever had for summer – got three colors and love them all! I've had a knee replacement and mobility is a problem. These shoes are high enough to be stylish, but wide enough and well-constructed to be stable for standing and easy walking. Leather is soft and non-binding. The comfort is incredible.

Great shoe!
The shoe is very comfortable and was true to size. I am happy to say that the shoes have not stretched after about a month of wearing them either. Very happy with the purchase.

Love these shoes -
This is my second pair of Kork-Ease shoes and I love them!!! My first pair has the strap across the foot and they are really easy to walk in. My second pair the high slide is not as easy to walk in but they aren't too bad. They look great and feel wonderful. I have worn them now with everything from jeans to sun dresses. I highly recommend them. They are just a little wide but I have gotten use to that. They are very true to size. Get um, you'll love um!!

Love them!
Love the look... fit was exactly my size... they rub a bit on the top and I got a blister first time wearing them... but once the leather softened, no problem. There a great looking shoe with shorts, very flattering on the leg.

The Perfect Shoe for Summer -
At 70, I still want classy looking shoes and these certainly fill the bill. These comfortable cork wonders are perfect with your jeans and pretty sundresses. Do give them a try, you will not be disappointed.

I Really Like This Shoe!
I received my shoes today. I was a little worried about the price I paid for them and that they would not fit, but they fit perfect on my feet. I got them in the brown and love them, but it seems like they don't have much of an arch and that’s strange for that kind of money paid. I like the height they give, but they run a tiny bit wide… but that’s ok. I’m going to keep them for now and work on getting the black ones in a month.

These are one of the more comfortable pairs of shoes that I own. They are tall but never make you feel as if you are going to topple. Excellent quality. Cover bunions.

Very comfortable and well made shoe. I have this shoe in the kernel color (which is a luggage shade) and love it.....but the black has a chunky, clunky, clod-hopperish look. As always, Zappos has the best customer service on the planet.....so returning them is a breeze. Thanks, Zappos!

Nice, but -
I really would like to keep these shoes, but they are a little wide for my foot. Also, the left side makes this weird air-swooshing sound when walking.

I like these -
They fit well and look good... I did wear them all day at work after they were broken in, but I wouldn't say they are really comfortable. They are nice enough, I'd probably come back for more and I don't say that about very many shoes!

Kork Ease high slide -
I purchased these in the Kernel and Bronce colors (both beautiful), but returned the Bronce because the leather was a little stiffer. Service was excellent. I wore this shoe all day the first time and did not have any issues. The height is perfect, and the platform makes it comfortable & stylish. Love it - thinking about getting the black.

Exactly what I was looking for -
I wanted something a little more sleek than my old beloved suede Kork-Ease with the ankle straps (which tend to stretch out). These are well-made and really versatile in the dark blue (if you're wondering what "jacket" is, it's a deep deep navy).
Only problem I've had is that the leather is very stiff and cuts into the sides of your feet if you wear them all day. Haven't fully broken them in yet so expect this to improve. Go a half-size down rather than up.

I got these because I needed a good summer sandal that I could wear to work, but wouldn't be too "casual" to wear out to a nice place in the evening. A little pricey, but this is basic enough to have for a long time and good craftsmanship is worth it. Great look.
I am normally a 9-9.5 in a closed shoe, but sometimes have trouble with the back sticking out too far in sandals, so I got the 8 (I wish they came in half sizes). My heel lines up perfectly with the back of the shoe. I also had major problems with the top of my feet being rubbed raw by theses shoes. I hope the leather will stretch out a little because I really want to wear them!

I like these shoes...
Although I am very fond of these shoes, I find that they are not so comfortable when walking long distances. They are great for driving in the car for long distances and “staying put”. I developed a cut on the top of my left foot from the left shoe; I guess it's from “breaking them in”. I do love the look of the shoe though.

High Arches Beware -
This shoe looks great, but I have high arches and the top of my foot was rubbed raw by the leather at the top of this shoe.

Love this shoe -
These shoes were recommended to me by my cousin who bought a pair. She told me they were the most comfortable sandals she has ever had and that I had to get them. Well she was right. I love these sandals. Even though they appear to be clunky, they are not. Your foot just molds to them. I think they are nice looking on the foot as well. I may get another pair in a different color. I usually wear 7 1/2, but I got the 7 and they fit perfectly.
