I have now shined both brown and black shoes using this shoe shine kit. The two included brushes are great to keep the colors separated; one for brown and one for black. The shine and the brushes are both of great quality. Overall I am very pleased with the results I have gotten from this kit. The only drawback to this kit is that there is no applicator brush included, thus the 4 star rating instead of 5. You may want to run to your local shoe store to get a quality brush with which to apply the polish.

All you need to start -
I really like this kit. The four colors are nice and basic and the brushes seem to be high quality. My black leather loafers look almost like new after a polishing.

I'm from a military tradition. Shoe appearance is important. This kit has an excellent wax and produces a quality, long last shine.

Shoe care that's value for money -
This set of shoe care is value for money. It comes with 2 great brushes (to separate your browns from your blacks), and 4 cans of show polish (wax).
The cans of polish look a little dried up when I opened them; perhaps this is because I took them on a 15hr flight. They were still usable.
If you are looking for a value pack, this should be it.
