Very Professional, Great Price -
This shoe is a classic. More impressive in real life than on the web. Comfortable, stylish, economical. I am very pleased with my purchase.
I do have a few comments on the sizing. I normally wear an 11.5 E which is exactly what I ordered. They run a little long so I could have gotten away with an 11 and they probably would have fit better. These shoes are certainly more spacious inside than most formal dress shoes I have tried on. I love 'em.

The shoe felt a half size bigger, so would recommend buying the next smaller size. Like the classic look, I have been wearing Stacy Adams since high school, none better.

Stacy Adams Madison Black 8.5 EE -
This shoe is a classic jazz dance type of look and feel. It is well crafted and people love them. I got the 8.5 EE (wide) and they are a full size bigger than marked. They also are a bit longer than most. I typically wear a 9-9.5. Shoe trees are a must as the leather creases easily. This is my second pair and I love them!

This is a very comfortable and good looking shoe. I wish, however, that I had ordered about 1/2 size smaller - it runs up and down on the heel a bit. This shoe is a little longer than the average. Something to keep in mind for those about to order.

Classic Look -- Classic Dependability -
I work hard for my money, and like most other older Americans, I expect comparable value. Three pairs of Madison’s later, Stacy Adams has yet to let me down. I purchased my first pair over five years ago, and have worn them in work situations that have destroyed lesser quality shoes. I've had them re-soled three times and re-heeled twice during that time. I recently purchased a third pair of Madison’s from Zappos, and believe me -- this is a lot of shoe for a very, very reasonable price. Thanks Stacy Adams and thanks Zappos.

A Sharp, Professional, Comfortable Shoe -
I needed a dress shoe for work, and I settled on Stacy Adams after a friend recommended them to me. These shoes have a matte finish, but still take a decent polish. The shoes are comfy enough to stand on concrete all day long, and aren't constricting like most dress shoes. I took them out of the box and wore them to work that very day. That being said, a few words of caution: the leather creases easily, which may hamper the shoe's ability to shine up, and they feel at least a size, possibly a size and a half, larger than marked. I usually wear a 9.5 D Bostonian snugly, but I am happy with 8.5 EE on these.

My Stacy Adams Experience!
I order regularly from Zappos and consider my self a "regular customer". I ordered 2 pairs of the same Stacy Adams Madison shoe in two different sizes to ensure a proper fit. Of course, one pair fit the best. I returned the other pair for a refund/credit and as usual, the return went smooth as silk, no questions asked. It is great to have shipping paid. Formality Woes Made Better-
I never have to wear a suit/tie to work. However, once in a while I get "required" to go to a formal event. The Madison shoe makes having to put on a monkey suit more enjoyable simply due to the fact that my feet are comfy!

Husband's Favorite Shoe -
This is my husband's favorite shoe. His old pair was 15 years old, so they were replaced instead of being repaired. He LOVES these shoes. So, I bought 2 pair - 1 black and 1 brown for his birthday. He is happy.

NOT true to size -
Had to return these great shoes for two reasons. First, there was a scrape on sole that looked like someone wore one (not both) shoes outdoors. This may be a defect from the manufacturer since both shoes did not have the scrape on the sole. But most importantly, these shoes run one full size larger than true size. Zappos is the only way my family shops for shoes this year, and certainly forever. Love everything about the site and have never had a problem with the quality or return policy, so we're sad about the delay in getting the correct size and trying again for quality, and this one small instance of quality control (it's never happened before), but love everything else about Zappos.

Nice shoe- not perfect-
This shoe is really comfortable, and I like the white stitching around the perimeter; my complaint is that the toe curves upward quite a bit more than the picture reveals, however. This makes for a bozo the clown kind of look which I'm not thrilled about, but I'm still going to wear it. Nice leather- seems like the shoe will last quite a while.

First, I LOVE ZAPPOS! I'm making Zappos fanatics around my workplace. I'm always impressed with selection and prices. Couldn't be more thrilled with my Madison shoes, until the heels began to seperate from the bottoms. I only wore them 3 times!!!! Yikes. Too bad, I loved this SHOE!

I've been wearing Stacey Adams since I was 16 years old. Now I'm 52 so that's a long time. There was a time a few years back where these were hard to find. Now I'm glad I found Zappos.com. Zappos is the best -
Zappos has the best customer service I have ever encountered. My husband has big feet and it took me three orders of shoes before my husband finally found a pair that he loved and were very comfortable. The free shipping and returns were a breeze. For now on, my husband will buy all his shoes from Zappos. The company is pleasant and courteous. I highly recommend it to all. And the shoes arrive the very next day. Unbelievable!

This is a great dance shoe! But better yet is the service that I got from Zappos! The original size 12's were at least a size 13. Within 3 days Zappos had size 11s that fit perfectly at my doorstep! Unbeleivably, my best Internet purchase experience ever!

Your company has all kinds of shoes in her size and style. You make shopping fun and easy for moms, especially with hard to please teens. Then I got my order so fast. I have been telling the other army wives about this site. We have so much on our minds the last thing we need is to worry about shopping for the kids! I thank you and it could not go without saying. For so often, customers complain but we must also say thanks when service is great! Before I found your site I had already ordered my daughter a pair of Softwalks from another company and they have given me the run around and the wrong size after I called them six times about the issue. She still does not have her shoes and I ordered them before I got the ones from your company. I should have looked at your site, you even have them cheaper. Now I don't know if she will have her shoes for chapel when school starts. She will have to wear the ones I got from your company, which are not chapel shoes. She goes to a private Christian school and they are strict about the rules. I can't afford to buy another pair, for the company has already charged my credit card. If the shoes do not get here soon, I will return them and be out of more money and get a pair from your company just because you have better service.
