I just purchased my second pair of these shoes. I need lots of support for my arches and a large toe box. All of the Drew shoes are awesome. I also use the Drew shoe with the BOA lacing system for workouts. They are also outstanding. Zappos is a customer focused outfit. I buy a lot online and Zappos has the finest customer service of all that I have encountered. They will surpass your expectations.

I bought these shoes for my brother-in-law. He walks everyday except in rainy weather. He loves these shoes. They are comfortable and seem to be lasting. He is a big guy. Shoes don't last very long for him. However, these are holding up good.

I had never heard of this shoe brand before but because it is almost impossible to find a 9 1/2 5E in any type of shoe, I gave them a try. To my surprise they fit perfectly and I now know what your feet are supposed to feel like in shoes. Even more importantly I now know what your feet are supposed to feel like at night after wearing the shoes all day long. I will continue to buy shoes from Drew.

Custom fit -
Due to a raised area on the top of my foot, this shoe fits
better than others I've tried. The velcro closures make it a custom fit for each foot.

NICE, but they do run 1/2 size small -
These are GREAT shoes! Very comfortable, now that I have them in a 1/2 larger than I normally wear. They seem to have good arch support, are nice and cushiony and look like they will wear well. The insole consists of several layers, which could be removed to accommodate orthotics. I'm quite happy with them and would order them again.

Good for letter carriers -
These shoes come already broken in, on most other shoes it takes a while to break them in. But I put them on and had no problems with blisters and soreness associated with wearing new shoes. I highly recommend these shoes especially to the letter carriers and delivery persons out there, I am a letter carrier also. I def. will buy more of this style.

They are making a difference -
My husband has been wearing these shoes since Christmas. Before the holidays, he complained on a daily basis about his sore feet. 3 weeks into the New Year he's now commenting on how much better his feet feel. This is truly remarkable as he suffers from neuropathy and edema and was contemplating getting a wheel chair.
The other part of the story is that I never would have gotten him into a shoe store to try on new shoes. Having them sent to the house, made all the difference. At home he was more open to giving up his old, trusted tennis shoes.
Both the shoes and Zappos service made a big difference in his day.

I use orthotics and this shoe works very well with them. A sturdier shoe than the New Balance 811, as the price reflects, but worth the money.

Best walking shoe on the market. Comfort beats them all -
Tremendous comfort. Excellent width at 4EEEE. Lots of room for orthotics. One of most comfortable, if not the most comfortable shoe of this type I have owned. Heel cushioning excellent. Lots of room in front part of shoe for those that have that need, best in this area of any shoe I have tried. Recommend highly as best of its type. If you are a 10 1/2 in dress shoe, get this one in 11 and it will be perfect. Probably deepest foot bed of any shoe you can get which is perfect for orthotics, could leave the shoe insert in and would still be ok for orthotics and comfort is better.

At Last!!!
I have been trying to find shoes with the Velcro, wide enough for my husband. He has extremely wide feet and not that long. Others that I have found have not been wide enough. His comment was "I've never had a pair of shoes that felt so good"! Many, many thanks!!

AMAZING! Oh, these are well worth the money. It's something that never goes out of style and gets better with age. The DO run a half size small. You really need to size up a half size. I'm sometimes an 8.5 and mostly a 9. I went with the 9.5 and they fit perfectly. I can already tell they won't be hard to break in too. They're extremely comfortable. I love the fact that you can adjust the buckles at the top of the boot. There are 3 notches if you can't tell from the photos. A great boot for skinny jeans and leggings!

Looks are deceiving.
This shoe looks great, didn't seem wide enough, & this is NOT what I'd wear for walking. Walking in these shoes feels like walking with bricks strapped to my feet. I was hoping they'd be equal to the Saucony ProGrid Stabil LE4 but they don't come close.

Moms with Downs Syndrome Guys.
Finally, a shoe that fits the extra, extra wide foot of my down's guy. Comfort and good fit are a first, but he has wanted a shoe that LOOKS good. This one is awesome, extra padding; the white is very smart looking. He was really thrilled, and doesn’t complain about foot pain. We have back problems too, so a good shoe is a must. I am a faithful Zappos customer! Also got Stride Rite; perfect fit for my granddaughter who also has downs syndrome. I am super happy with the product, ease of order and super quick delivery.

Comfort and looks - I have a diabetic problem and these sneakers are closer to black shoes than any other and still fit and feel good. I can take out the innersoles that might be perfect for the average person and put my orthotic in.

Best Ever!
This is my second pair. Puppy got a hold of my first pair, but I did get to wear them for a year. I walk a concrete shop floor all day and these are far better than other "brand name" shoes for about the same price.

Great Service, Great Shoe!
My husband works all day on his feet. He was getting foot pain, and this shoe brought some relief. His feet was allowed to worsen, but hopefully this shoe will do the repair.

Who knew, Drew is The Shoe!
First time buyer of Drew shoes. Shoes fit well after I removed the extra foam pad because my feet are very thick, as well as wide (6e). The shoes are comfortable, but fit very snugly the first few times I put them on. There is lots of the support and the shoes are well made. I have had them a few weeks now and the shoes seem to be getting better with each use.

Drew Thunder Velcro® Reveiw -
I've been using the Drew Thunder Velcro for two days now and they are very comfortable. I have a hard time finding good shoes that fit and work well because I have difficulty walking, (these shoes are definitely perfect for anyone with trouble walking or requiring the use of a leg brace), I wear a 10.5 W, and finding good wide shoes are hard enough, but These shoes fit great, are very comfortable and the 2 removable insoles are perfect to customize the fit. (the soles itself seem a little tall and make you feel a few inches taller but once you get used to that they are perfect), the velcro is a plus and makes them easy to slip on/off, they are also very stylish I got the Black and they look great and that is a bonus in itself, Zappos is a great company to deal with I would highly recommend these shoes, and this company. To anyone, the free overnight shipping is a great deal also that makes it all worthwhile. All in all a great experience and great shoes, Try them for yourself you wont be disappointed.

Difficult to find a comfortable walking shoe which will accommodate an orthotic attached to a short leg brace, and the removable insoles and Drew construction do this, with reasonable arch support.

Just excellent -
I cannot put into words how grateful I am to Zappos.com and Drew for making such a great shoe. For 2+ years my right foot always hurt because of a botched foot operation when I was teenager. Thanks to the support/inserts, I can walk almost walk 100% normally and am not in pain when standing for extended periods. Thanks for giving me something back that was taken away from me 10+ years ago. May God bless all of you!

Buy Drew's Thunder For Comfort -
I have a very difficult time getting any type of shoes because of the width of my feet. I took a chance on Drew's Thunder and I sure am glad I did. They are extremely comfortable, they look good and I stand on my feet 8 hrs a day so I know when a shoe is comfortable.

Need true sizing -
I love the look of the shoe. I got a 10 4E in this shoe to be safe and the toes are distressed by the end of the day. The width seems to be fine, but in the SAS brand shoe I can wear a 9 to 9-1/2 4E or 6E.
I was going to return them until I took out the additional pad that comes with the shoe which gave me more room in the toebox. I decided to see how the shoe adapted to wear. It doesn't stretch much. Padding inside for heel and arch is good.
