This is my third pair of Drew shoes and I am very pleased with them. The newest is just as comfortable as the others. It is wonderful to put on a pair of shoes and have them feel so good right from the start. I have also enjoyed dealing with Zappos as you are very efficient. Thank you.

The shoe is one of the most comfortable shoes I've tried in a very long time. My husband joked that they looked like "old lady" shoes. I said that I am getting to be an old lady and comfort takes priority over looks!

Toe depth, just give me toe depth -
Finally; I have been trying to find a shoe with depth and width in the toe box. For many years all shoes I tried pushed my big toe nail into the one next to it and the shoe top was so thin it pushed down on my big toes and made them hurt. Now even with my orthotic inserted I have more comfort. Your prices and return policies are great!!!!

Not SAS, but a very close second.
I bought these for my mother who has problems with diabetic neuropathy. She previously had a pair by SAS which she loved, and these looked exactly the same. However, the quality it not quite there. The sole does not seem as flexible and the appearance is rigid...however, that may soften with wear.
My mother was pleased with them and feels they will 'give'. The price was reasonable.
I only gave the look 3 stars because they are a functional, supportive, orthopedic type shoe but not at all glamorous. They are good for walking, driving and daily general wear if you are wearing pants, but don't look good with a dress or summer clothes.
Other brands recommended by reviewer: SAS, Clarks.

Very comfortable work shoe. There was no adjustment time. They felt great from the first moment I put them on.

I work eight to twelve hour shifts five days a week and I am constantly on my feet. This shoe is great. My feet are always comfortable with great support. And they have great wearablity. I always wear Drew at work.

This is a very comfortable shoe. Although I do not feel it is stylish, it fits my foot! That is the most important thing for me.

I purchased this shoe as a walking shoe because it looked similar to the discontinued Easy Spirit Mach I had when they were made in the US. I have bunions and need soft pliable leather with no seams in the bunion area. Even though this leather is not as soft as I had hoped, the real problem is the heel. I have narrow heels and couldn't tighten the laces tight enough so they wouldn't slip when I walked. I ended up putting an extra lace in the top eyelets. I'm hoping they will get better with more use. Probably would be great for someone with a normal heel.

Very comfortable, additional/removable inserts make fitting with orthotics very easy. Quality workmanship. I just wish they could make a wide shoe with the removable inserts that aren't quite so clunky on the soles.

These shoes are well made and accommodate orthotics fine. Usually in walking shoes I take a 7W, sometimes even a 7 1/2 W to make sure they will accommodate orthotics but I got these in 6 1/2 W and they are plenty wide and have to make sure they are tied tight so they won't be too loose.

This shoe is one of the best engineered / made shoes I've ever tried on. No foot roll to either side, walks well and looks are acceptable for an orthotic shoe.

 |  | Dear Zappos, Okay, help me understand something. I place an on-line order last evening at about 8:00. I screw up how to use my store credit and can’t figure out how to fix it. I resort to calling your toll free number to fix my stupid mistake and expect to be on hold for at least 20 minutes. Wow is all I can say! A real live person answers the phone in two rings after I debated with myself whether or not to press the option for joke of the day. He corrects my problem and even makes the decision to not charge my credit card for the less than $2 difference between my store credit and the amount due for the running shoes I ordered. On top of this, the shoes were sitting on my doorstep tonight after I came home from work. I even wore them for my evening workout. How dare you do this in less than 20 hours after my mistake! You just set the customer service pole vault bar at 37 feet in my book! Terrific, terrific service. Thank you very much! I now consider myself a customer for life. You all will have to work very hard to make me buy a pair of shoes from another company. I’m new to Zappos and you can bet I will be looking to Zappos for other purchases! Many thanks... my next order will be tomorrow evening so I can surprise my wife with a new pair of Berks she wants, but actually needs... it isn’t always good to want things!
