This is my favorite shoe. I have several pairs in different colors. It is very comfortable, it wears well, and it breathes, so I have no problem with my feet perspiring too much, which is a problem I have with many shoes. I hope they never stop making this wonderful, classic shoe.

I owned this shoe many years ago and had lost touch until I re-discovered them on Zappos. This is a great shoe and very light weight, almost feels like wearing slippers, an ideal dress shoe.

I'd worn Hush Puppies for years, although not in the last few years. I was having trouble finding a good pair of shoes, and ran across Zappos and the Earl. While seemingly expensive, I still ordered a pair, based on previous experience. The shoes are still fantastic, and helped alleviate foot pain I was having. I actually ordered a second pair. Am extremely happy with the shoes and with Zappos service.

I travel quite a bit, and the hardest thing I have to pack are comfortable shoes. I tried the Hush Puppies (Earl), and found it to be the MOST COMFORTABLE shoe I have ever worn. A friend (male) gave me a pair and I fell in love. It is, of course, a MAN’S shoe, but I ordered it a few sizes smaller than I normally wear and it fit. It is the only show I can wear for days at a time and not even know I am wearing a shoe. The design is sort of retro, and I got the black suede. It goes through rain, mud, etc., and comes out looking great. I am seriously thinking of ordering another pair, since this particular shoe was hard to track down. I love, love, love, this shoe and have Zappos to thank for tracking it down for me. I also was unsure of the size (since it was a man's size), and had to send two pairs back until I found one to fit. Their system is so user friendly-- it was not a problem. They did not have one in stock for 6 months, but when it came in, they alerted me via email, and I received it in 4 days. Great company, fantastic public relations people, a truly grand shopping experience.

Cool, I have 21 pairs of Hush Puppies with lot of colors and two tone colors, too... They are amazing, very comfortable, I use it for dance and are perfect! Hope the fabric will sell more Puppies with colors again... and two tones! Peace!

I have worn Hush Puppies for over 30 years. They are the most comfortable shoe I have ever worn. At present, I have 12 pair, 4 of which are from Zappos.

Earl and my feet -
I may be wrong but the Earl keeps pulling my socks into my shoes... I don't know if this is usual, although my previous Hush Puppies, including a previous pair of Earls, did not do it. My last pair was an 8 1/2, these are 9's and I have been trying for 2 weeks to get used to them. Overall, I still like the look, the weight and, I hope, the feel.

Well it's about damn time you brought back the "CLASSIC"!!! My question is what took you so long??? You should never discontinue something that is a legend because anything that's great always finds it self back to the mass appeal... BRAVO!!

Give your feet a treat. These puppies are neat and can't be beat. I've worn them for decades. They look great, last a long time, and are absolutely comfortable in every season and every posture.

I have owned at least two pairs of these for the last 30 years. They are the most comfortable and durable shoes that I have ever worn. They are also just about the only casual shoes available in my size (11B).
